4ever I read your posts too... But am rubbish at replying to everyone, sorry

Is mainly cos am on phone... So hard to remember what everone has said...

bluesatinsash · 10/07/2010 14:10

Got some peace as DH has taken boys to his Mums...

4ever - oh darling, so sorry you feel like we're not acknowledging your posts about S. I lurked on DH's phone earlier and saw your post and have been thinking about the thread and why you feel like this ever since (practically shoved DH out the door so I could log on!)..

I can only speak from my perspective but I am always thrilled to read about S and all the babies on here. I try to post personals every time I post not to everyone but to at least everyone who has posted since I last did.

The thread continutes to be a fine line as so many of us have bouncing babies but we have to be mindful of those who are still ttc and going through that and all the hand holding that entails. I could gush about all our babies and mine too () but shy away as don't want to feel I'm rubbing anyone's nose in motherhood when some of us have yet to as mermaid says join the exclusive club.

I hope you sometimes read back to the week S was born as see the geniune delight we had at you finally getting her in your arms. I still have a lump in my throat when I remember you saying "she's alive". Only you and your DH truly now how hard a journey you have had but I hope you feel most of us, especially those from the original Emmsy's Angels know only too well what you have gone through, and have rooted for you every step of the way.

Maybe Vjay is the best to experience this but like in life, once the baby is born and the initial yay! is done, RL and on here the posts/acknowledgements tend to be general unless we are needing advice a la barbie with sleep or a tooth is through or a crawl has began. Its doesn't mean we don't cherish reading all about it.

You are such an honest person and I really admire you for that and raising your annoyance. I have felt similar a long time ago when one person I felt never responded to my posts but I just kind of shrugged my shoulders as there are so many people on here and some of us feel mor ecomfortable posting about some of us than others if that makes sense.

I am rambling now but just finish by saying I'm still waiting on piccies of the bronze casts of Summer's feet . You have kicked me up the arse as I have been meaning to get canvas prints of both boys hands and feet and never get round to it! How is the feeding going this week? Is S still doing some boobage in the evening?

And onto other news!

Vjay - welcome back honey! Glad you all had a good time, your ruddy cheeked outdoor healthiness was eminating over the internet . Are you getting your garage converted??? As we are next month! DH has spent last few weeks decanting everything into loft/shed/skip. Ayone want a running machine?

mermaid - lovely to hear form you and you are still being stopped in your tracks by your grief. I have both my parents but know when my Mum passes I just won't be the same person ever again . Hope you are busy with DS and shouting out soft rock songs - get some Meat Loaf on. BTW veggies were a hit or miss. Strawberries and amazingly tomatoes are great but courgettes died and raspberry bush mustn't have taken root as it just looks like sticks in the ground...

barbie - glad to read D had a better night. If she is loving the pear then I would just carry on, slowly but surely... She is so advanced physically which would tie in with her needing food earlier. Coincidentally I was re-reading my weaning book this morning and it talked about knowing when your DC was ready for food and being physically strong enough to hold head up etc. was one sign so there you go...

questions - hope you get your op done soon so you can start the ttc bus again. Maybe a wee break will be a blessing in disguise?

Jools - so sorry I fogrot to post how shit it is if you feel you've had another mc... I think you're right not to test early. Try and just think of it as a weird AF..

cupcake - AF return can be strange... Gracie (where is she these days?) AF came back when her DD was 2 months I think wheras mine didn't return until B was 6 months and I month after I stopped BF!). TBH I welcomed her return as the whole time she was away I had NO sex drive whatsoever due to lack of natural cycle... Glad all going well with J and he is chubbing up nicely

Right, better shoot as have hoovering to do and bottles to make up.

Any other Grey's fan out there? Watched last nights final episode with heart in my mouth - had to text Neeko who is having a lovely holiday and is washing H in a storage box from Tesco as her lodge doesn't have a bath - . She sent a photo of her in the box and she looked sooo cute.

iggypiggy · 10/07/2010 16:41

I never mean to ignore anyone.. Am jut a bit useless...

blue you have wise words...

barbie hope you have a good day today and get some more sleep.

I am hot, I know everyone is, but I really would like an air conditioned house today

VJay · 10/07/2010 17:06

*blue8 yes we are converting our garage, it is going to be a new living room and playroom, then Ajay can at last have a bedroom. DH is going to do most of the work himself, but we just need a builder to do the lintels and other bits, then a plasterer to plaster, an electritian to do the electic bits and a plumber for the radiators...not really sue what DH is doing

cupcake my af, returned 1 month after I stopped bf too, it was and is very light due to the coil.

4ever I think blue summed it up nicely. Sometimes I think we should have a 'baby chat' room.

iggy it's not too hot up here, I will send you a gust of cool air

I've never watched Grey's blue, but want to see this pic of babyneeko now

Big hug to the lovely {{{mermaid}}}

Thanks Iggy & bless you Blue and your wise words, sorry if i sound at all brattish & its not just that i want coos over S cuteness (tho she is very cute ) but it is advice & input iv reached out for recently, it was me who had AF return this week, not cupcake & it freaked me out a bit, didnt know if it was or not, or if caused by other reasons, which i posted, or BF again (which was major achievement & big deal, another big post about that somewhere with full details about how hard id actually found it all at beginning). Also i really suffered terribly with my stitches coming open & healing in general, i was quite low at times.. They are just a couple of things i was hoping for advice on.. I know your all amazing & not only did i cherish your congratulations on S birth i cut and paste all the pages to a word doc it meant so much! Please dont doubt how much i appreciate your love & support & i finally truly understand the chaos & fine juggling act of mummydom, im equally as guilty of not doing many personals as id like, just felt the need to air it as iv sort of put quite alot of things out there for feedback lately & dont want to let this build up..

bluesatinsash · 10/07/2010 20:46

Quickie again from me whilst iron heats up (ironing on a Saturday night - could my life be any duller (cupcake - said in a Chandler from Friend's way ).

4ever - had a wee thought there reading back the thread.. think because you post from your phone and it all comes out in the one paragraph that your questions can somtimes get lost especially when you're reading as sleep deprived as me some days (saying that Ben has slept from 7-7 last few nights, night feeds no more, Just need to get my bladder to sleep through now..)

re: AF return.. Was asnwering cupcake as she was hoping her AF would stay away due to her BF. but yours returning is perfectly OK I think as most periods return @ 6 weeks post-birth if you're not exclusively BF.

Breast feeding is bloody hard and its awful when Mum's are made to feel a failure when it doesn't work. Its great to hear S is having a boob reneasance (sp?) though . You must have a had a good back up stock in there!

Vjay - LOL at what your DH is actually doing re: the garage . Project Managing obviously!

Right I've typed way too much today already so toodle pip x

barbie1 · 11/07/2010 05:52

How come i suddenly feel so paranoid that it was me that upset blue a few months back by not replying and now not replying to 4ever If it was me girls, im truly sorry and it wont happen again

barbie smacks herself on the back of the hand and gives herself a stern telling off...

I hold my hands up that since having a baby sometimes i skim read and reply in thanks to someone who had advised me or reply in answer to something someone might of directed at me personally. Once madam is in bed i will sit and take me time to read the whole thing, sometimes i get the chance to post but more frequently do not. Im sure none of us intentionally would not reply...That said im all for the small/ medium panters at the moment, i know how much i cherished this thread to help through the not so happy times....

You know me though, ill happily chat to myself anyone who is on here the same time as me

Well yesterday i won round 234 of battle of the bottle
2x 120ml bottles in a hour, one prior to the bath time and the other after. Must of filled her up because she refused the boob!

7am til 1.30am
2am til 5.30 and then cuddles in bed and another hour sleep!!!

So she was hungry after all! Formula fed before bedtime is the new way forward....

I have some barbie moments to make you all smile...

1, i went to buy dh some havianna flip flops and went to get them down from the shelf but they all fell off onto the lady who was looking in the cupboard below, ouch that had to hurt

2, driving past a car crash i said to dh, no wonder he crashed he couldnt see where he was going, the car is full of lilo's... que much laughing by dh, who then told me it was the airbags

3, while shopping in the supermarket, D was in her lie down thingy section of the pram playing on her tummy with some toys...was studying formula on the shelf and heard much laughing...i looked up to see the pram taking it self down the aisle as Little d was trying to crawl and launching the pram forward!

Im so blonde dumb at times

lbm glad littlebelle seems better, i didnt realise you were giving her oj? Does she like it? i hope the poo situation sorts itself out soon.....

Whoops out of time, will come back soon!

ThePFJ · 11/07/2010 19:23

Looks like the Cramp bark I was given from Neals Yard may have been responsible for my miscarriage. Any thoughts?

VJay · 11/07/2010 19:59

No idea pfj but here's a big hug

OP posts:
ditzzy · 11/07/2010 20:45

Hey PFJ - I was just checking on here to make sure you'd made it home ok!

I don't think its likely that it's anything you've done whatsoever that's caused this, it's just something thats happened. (have googled cramp bark and all the literature I've found says that it's taken in cases of threatened mc to prevent it - and I'm sure you told the people there that you were pg before they gave it to you (I'm pretty sure you told everyone who stood still long enough to talk to, and it's sounds like you spoke to the Neals Yard people for a fair while!))

Hope everything goes ok when you get checked out tomorrow. Make sure you give me a shout if you need anything at all, and give Jack lots of hugs. Thank-you so much for coming down on friday. Sorry for putting so much detail on here, but I think you'll pick this up faster than the amil/text/skype options!

See you soon xx

CurlyBigPants · 11/07/2010 22:38

pfj I'm sure it is nothing that you did or took that caused the mc. Massive hugs lovely xxx

CurlyBigPants · 12/07/2010 07:10

Thinking of you today pfj x

iggypiggy · 12/07/2010 08:53

Oh pfj so so sorry to read this. Have a massive hug from me xxxx. I am sure it was nothing you did that caused the mc. I spent a long time blaming myself for taking nurofen and riding my horse, which I decided caused mine. But am pretty sure that it wasn't, but I know how much you need to find something to blame. You mustn't blame yourself tho. Xxx

ThePFJ · 12/07/2010 08:57

Am on way to hospital. Bleeding is severe. Mass hugs. And thanks Suzy, Love you. xxx

Joolsiam · 12/07/2010 09:05
