C'mon in BESHes to the beach bar...sprawl on comfy sofas while you wiggle your toes in the sand and watch a glorious sunset....and drink brightly coloured cocktails with sparklers in. Cos we're classy, innit.

I've got Adam and joe in as barmen, and we have a rather nice Cave of Gloom in the corner for those 'whyyyyyy meeeeeeee???' moments. We have a reggae sound system playing mob barley's greatest hits. It's a sunshine paradise!

Newcomers welcome,as long as they drag along a bucket of black humour and a vast amount of gin. And please note, some of us have been here so long we have forgotten the real world almost entirely.

Now,who's getting the next round in?

Have seen! Is bloody brilliant

Muser · 06/06/2010 00:02

Thank you. It has gone wrong a lot. But I'm still pretty proud of it.

PollyPoo · 06/06/2010 10:00

Muse blanket bloody amazing! I am v . I started knitting a little square recently, just to try and remember how to do it. I did about 10 lines, miscounted, it is all wobbly and uneven and has holes and is now stuffed in a cupboard.

Muser · 06/06/2010 10:22

Thank you. You should keep trying. I'm really not that good a knitter, I did have 3 false starts on the blanket and still managed to go wrong quite a lot.

So, day 15 in the Muser household and we have EWCM. Oh yeah. Now if only MrM would wake up...

PerfectDromedary · 06/06/2010 10:44

Bloody hell, youse lot were busy last night. Religion, class and knitting - pretty much all the important subjects covered.

Headgirl Sorry to hear about nightmare in-laws and party problems. Hope you have a lovely Sunday to make up for it.

Everyone else who is having a bloody awful time,

mussy Fabby blanky. Must try and remember how to knit. Now stop posting and go jump MrM.

saltyair · 06/06/2010 11:04

morning all yawns and rubs eyes Scrambled eggs, anyone?

Muser · 06/06/2010 13:08

Poached eggs for me. I'd do anything for some Eggs Benedict at the moment.

I am working, this is dull.

Medee · 06/06/2010 16:16

hello everyone.

Hugs to all who need them, sounds like some rough times going on.

Just back from a lovely weekend with all my friends - one is 8m pregnant, and the other had her youngest (10 months) with her. Happy for them, of course, but still wishing it were me.

Glad to hear the FFJ has arrived, Muse!

Medee · 06/06/2010 16:24

loving the awkward family photos - if I have learned one thing, it is that when I am pregnant, I won't get a professional photo done of MrM and me with my belly out.

tagine · 06/06/2010 16:53

Afternoon ladies.

Well, the droid beeped me out at lunchtime. Have been more upset than usual, been quite teary all day which I haven't before. We just went and bought a new 32" telly though so that's helping (if in doubt, shop)

Medee · 06/06/2010 17:06

I'm really sorry to hear that, Tagine

Headbanger · 06/06/2010 17:16

Very sorry about the bastard droid Tag . Hope you get some quality TV in to take your mind off (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, for instance).

tagine · 06/06/2010 17:17

Ugh. A friend just rang to tell me she's pregnant. Could really REALLY have done without that today

I do at least think I managed to pull off the acting job of my fucking life in terms of sounding thrilled before getting off the phone and bursting into tears.

And now period pain.

I want today to be over.

Medee · 06/06/2010 17:24

eurgh, immaculate timing, Tag.

Ariesgirl · 06/06/2010 17:29

Taggie (can I call you Taggie?) - very sorry about the horrid droid. Come and share the Twirls which you gave me before. Why is it at this time of the month the world is full of happy couples announcing their happy news? What a load of shite .

Mine isn't even here properly 48 hours later, just kind of brown when rummaging. Always takes a couple of days to properly start. Should that be a cause of concern? Attila the Hun Meerkat says it should, but it seems very common.

Cuddles to you Cass

Ariesgirl · 06/06/2010 17:29

Oops, sorry

Headbanger · 06/06/2010 17:29

V. brave of you to hold it together Cass - many wouldn't. Grr. Wish something could be said to make it better .

Headbanger · 06/06/2010 17:30

Gah I just did the same. 'Tis 'cos we know & love you see

saltyair · 06/06/2010 17:52

That is utterly shite Tagine..utterly shite

tagine · 06/06/2010 18:04

Oh don't worry re the cass ladies

Thanks all. Just doing little practical housey things to keep me going till bedtime.

Muser · 06/06/2010 18:09

Really sorry to hear that treasuretags. I am in the process of making a lemon drizzle cake with tasty creamy lemony filling. First bits yours.

Ariesgirl · 06/06/2010 18:20

Is there anything good on tonight that we can watch en masse and deal out Muser's cake, chocolate, popcorn, cuddles and copious, copious amounts of wine? Did I hear something about Robin Hood PoT?

I like the name TreasureTags - good thinking.

saltyair · 06/06/2010 18:22

Muserama, are you some sort of domestic goddess on the sly? Knitting, baking (my favorite)....

Humph..I have VIEWS about Nigella...not sure if I should share them though mutters darkly to self

PerfectDromedary · 06/06/2010 18:50

Bumflaps, taggie. Are you going to go for your bloods tomorrow?

ReesesPieces I like your thinking.

Salty Do share your views on Nigella. Ranting is fun!

Muser · 06/06/2010 19:16

Well, as the middle bit of my cake completely failed and is now being used as a sauce I think that's a firm no to the domestic goddess.
