C'mon in BESHes to the beach bar...sprawl on comfy sofas while you wiggle your toes in the sand and watch a glorious sunset....and drink brightly coloured cocktails with sparklers in. Cos we're classy, innit.

I've got Adam and joe in as barmen, and we have a rather nice Cave of Gloom in the corner for those 'whyyyyyy meeeeeeee???' moments. We have a reggae sound system playing mob barley's greatest hits. It's a sunshine paradise!

Newcomers welcome,as long as they drag along a bucket of black humour and a vast amount of gin. And please note, some of us have been here so long we have forgotten the real world almost entirely.

Now,who's getting the next round in?

Well I've just got in from work Muse but the sun is shining here. Are you still feeling droidy type pains? Hope not. We will having bbq shortly, if I can get off my arse. Where is everyone today?

saltyair · 19/06/2010 19:35

hello!

I have been Doing Cleaning too...although I'm hoping to train my under bed dust bunnies to hippity-hop out on their own.....

I have made a large curry. Paneer Biryani in fact. So there.

How is the Droid Muse? I'm hoping it hasn't shown its ugly mug?

Muser · 19/06/2010 19:48

No sign of droid. Cramps happening every now and then.

saltyair · 19/06/2010 20:25

Bah.

You got a fun evening planned Muse-icalYouth?

Care to join me in a plate of tapas?

Muser · 19/06/2010 20:33

I think I am going to go persuade MrM to go out for a walk. It's a nicer evening then it was day. I am stuffed full of Chinese food and really need to walk it off.

What's with the tapas? Thought you were making yummy sounding curry?

saltyair · 19/06/2010 20:54

I'm having some pre curry Olives. Is that odd?

Have a lovely walk

Muser · 20/06/2010 09:23

Woke up, no droid. Had a little poke around for evidence of droid. Nothing. PIAP, negative. I know I said I wouldn't until Tuesday, but I have no willpower.

ginhag · 20/06/2010 09:29

muse mate,I would have done exactly the same. I'm sorry your body is fucking with you. It ain't over til it's over n all,but I'm not going on about that as it never helps my head when in the 'no droid,no +' situation.

Fancy a nice expresso martini? Great start to the day, will set you up nicely...

OP posts:
Muser · 20/06/2010 09:33

Sounds like a very good way to start the day. I am meant to be waking myself up to go out for a run, cocktail would help, right?

How are you this morning ginsterpasty?

ginhag · 20/06/2010 09:40

'course it would help muse. it's got coffee in it,innit??

Well tbh I have been shitting myself for past 2 days. And I see no sign of that wearing off. Though my black coffee tastes like it has milk in this morning which is a) totally disgusting and b) strangely reassuring.

I just can't stop the little sneaking 'what if it happens again??' voice from popping up throughout the day.

Old time besh kimdeal sent virtual glue this morning which may help to get everything stuck in where it should be...

And I nearly launched into all the apologies for going on about it but then I remembered you will actually understand exactly how I feel...

OP posts:
Muser · 20/06/2010 09:46

Oh god, absolutely. I think you are allowed to brick it for now. I imagine when it's my turn that I will be terrified until at least 12 weeks. And probably in a quiet way until I'm holding an actual baby. Then it can be a whole new kind of "what do I do with it?" terrified!

This one is going to work for you though, I have a good feeling.

Are you going to have an early scan for reassurance?

ginhag · 20/06/2010 09:57

Yep indeedy. In fact I don't think I have a choice as last one was ectopic so have to check Wayne n Waynetta dragged their lazy arses to the right place this time...guess would be same for you?

Was told have to inform gp soon as I got a positive,so they can do all the hcg bollocks etc.

At least I have a proper strong line this time. That is a good sign (I know this isn't the case for everyone but it has been my personal experience.)

blah blah blah 'mememe'

morning ladies.

Glad to hear things going well so far ginsling

Nice evening stroll Musings?

Muser · 20/06/2010 10:54

I think getting the HCG tests and the early scan has to help with the whole worry. I bet Wayne & Waynetta are nicely ensconced just where they should be.

I have been for a 35 minute run. Now must shower, go take photos for my photography course, and then meet friends to eat big Sunday lunch. Nom nom.

And we need a new fred pronto. Who was starting it? What were we calling it?

Medee · 20/06/2010 14:56

Sending clingy thoughts gin, can totally understand why you are bricking it.

Bah to the no droid, no +, Muse.

More SWIing here, and another eggy peak this morning. So hopefully Monday's blood test will give the doc some more useful info.

TwinkleToes76 · 20/06/2010 17:12

Hello Beshies! Not been around for a few months but wanted to pop in and say hi, and congrats to the recently updiffed - Poo, Gin, Cho and Salty!

I am also diffed (only 4 weeks) but now spotting and cramping so not holding out much hope - feels very similar to what happened last time in January. ANyone had a scan this early on or will they just send me away if i turn up at an EPU?

Hope everyone else doing well and hope you're doing ok Lyra.

Medee · 20/06/2010 17:43

Hi Twinkie, no EPU experience myself, but I am sure they would see you.

Muser · 20/06/2010 18:10

Go to the EPU Twinkle. They may not scan you, but they will monitor your HCG levels and that's a good indication of whether the bleeding is anything to worry about. I really hope it's nothing to worry about, fingers crossed.

Ocarina · 20/06/2010 18:18

Twinkle, that sounds worrying, hope you can find out what's going on ASAP and really hope all is OK.

ginhag · 20/06/2010 18:25

twink...good to see ya. Although I'm sorry you're going through this stress again. Hope that this all works out for you...

I agree with muse. a scan would be no use to you at 4 weeks, but monitoring hcg could help give an idea what is going on.
