Although am not a newbie to MN am a newbie to the ttc thread and would like some buddies

Me and DH are in month 2 of ttc #2, although have just finished my first 'proper' period after stopping my pill so feel like this is the 1st proper month.

So 2day is day 5 of cycle so am just guna hit the BD'ing like a train

Thought I'd check back in - sad news though. My poor bean never really got going and I had a mc on Friday. I just feel so sad and empty. DP and family have been amazing and I guess it will just take some time to come to terms with. Also have no idea how this will impact on my cycle etc. Just wondered if any of you have experience of getting back on track after something like this happens? Sorry to put a dampner on the thread xx

I am on CD 28 no AF as yet, last month AF arrived on day 27 so a holding out a glimmer of hope even thought got BFN on monday.

Am hoping i tested to early

BFN so am def waiting for AF to arriv now the sooner the better so can re start cycle again!!

I had my first 'proper' period this week so here goes...

Cycle day 18. Normally get my AF on 28 days. Slightly worried I might have missed the ovulation window as the predictor showed pink on Sat and we had visitors all weekend. Too small a flat for BD'ing to go unheard, .

Stats are TTC#1 Cycle#1 No Children - using the CBFM. Was PG earlier on this year, long upsetting story, shall spare you the details.

Baby2b I too am CD18 of a UCL28, had an ovulation Peak Saturday and Sunday - BD'd before during and after Peak but I'm now symptom spotting @ 3DPO (Silly Cow). Oh I do make myself laugh.

Finger crossed Nicola you may still have tested to early however keep a PMA for the next cycle if it arrives.

I'm on CD 15 used the CB digi ov test month, got a on Day 12/13 which indicates lh surge. BDing once a day in the run up to this so we shall see. Feeling very chilled this month so not gonna symptom spot at all and aim is not to test usless AF is late... hopefully my will power will hold out.

Can def recommend the CB digi ov tests. Very each to use and by following the instructions on when to start testing I only had to use 2 tests (7 in pack) to get a positive result. The indicator screen is very easy to understand, empty circle if no surge detected when surge is detected... easy!

Day 24 for me baby2b, had unexplained dull achy pains since 2DPO, today they've just got worse and worse, I reckon AF is on its way for me. I'm super tired and keep getting really bad headaches - was convinced I was preggers the other day but not so sure anymore. I think if AF isn't here by Saturday I'l do my first test sunday. Not holding out much hope though.

I'm on day 10 so about to start testing - think I've had food poisoning over the weekend so not really up for getting jiggy however part of me things I can't let another month go past! Stay positive girls

I'm trying to be good and not test early either. Spent a fortune the first couple of months! If AF comes on Thursday I have a bottle of wine in the fridge and chocolate in the cupboard.

I hope you are ok inthesunshine, I know the feeling of thinking big pjs and relaxing would be good, but you don't want to miss the opportunity, lol.

Well DH managed to persuade me last night and I feel much better today. Trying to not do too many fertility tests this month - I think it just stresses me out! Fingers crossed for you baby2b - although wine & chocolate are always a good comfort blanket!

Intothesunshine I'm ok thanks hun, achy pains are still there, plus been super dizzy today (nothing changes LOL). On a serious note though I have been really hot and dizzy..not like me and they aren't a usual AF symptom!!

Anyway I've got some stats that just might help persuade the early testers not to bother until AF is late. I very nice lady on the CBFM Thread posted them for me. Here you go

Fertility Friend have done a pregnancy test study using thousands of charts on their database and this is what they find.

Average Day Past Ovulation (DPO) for the first positive pregnancy test: 13.6 DPO

Average DPO for the first "false" negative test result: 10.3 DPO

Percentage of pregnancy charts with a positive test at 10 DPO: 10%

Percentage of pregnancy charts which show negative results before a positive result: 17%

Average time between the expected period and the first positive pregnancy test: 0.5 days before the expected period.

Percentage of negative test results taken three days or more before the expected period day on non pregnant charts: 40.7%

Hi guys, hope everyone is good?!

I managed to hold out on the early tests, which is just as well as AF arrived today. So I am now on CD1, month 5 of ttc. Actually don't feel too bad, as I'm pleased my cycle has gone so regular. Hopefully this month will be the month.

Throwing the temping kit in the bin as my chart looked like a messy zigzag and not going to bother with ovulation kits either. I want to just get back to having fun trying and thinking it will happen when it is meant to happen.

Baby2b Sorry AF got you hun. Everything is ok here. Feeling quote bloated and those achy pains are slowly disappearing, but not really ad any AF signs, usually get AF cramps a good few days before AF is due and I'm due on tomorrow. Still no urge to test though....I'm way too scared of the BFN to do it early, just going to try and hang on til sunday and if AF hasn't arrived by then I'll consider testing!

I am TTC #2 DD1 is 14 months and had cycles back 2 months. Last ones were both 32 days so by my reckoning AF due Sunday.

Like Stormy have been having unexplainable cramping and dizziness plus weird tastes/smells. Did a stupidly early test last night which was obviously negative. Cramps ramped up today so thinking AF on her way...
