So, I thought I'd take it upon myself to kickstart the new thread. As the title suggests, this is a wonderful home full of the bravest, funniest and most inspirational women on Mumsnet, who are always ready to lend an ear and a virtual glass of wine.

The new thread is kicked off with 3 bfps in 3 days, so here's to more love and luck along the way

Morning lovelies x

WYG - I've just had a look at your exhibition. It looks brilliant - especially the fairies. I'm completely cack-handed so I can't even begin to imagine the work that must go into something so small and intricate.

MrsPretty - Hurrah for the fixed craptop! This is the first month I've had sore boobs post ov and they started 6dpo, so I have no idea if it's normal or not.

littlemiss - good luck for the interview and the 2WW

digi - Have only been an early tester once (on New Year's Eve!) and instantly regretted it, so am now stubborn in my non-testing ways.

My issue this month is that fly to the States tomorrow to visit a friend of mine who lives in Baltimore (whoop whoop!) - AF is due on Monday (the day we fly home) so realistically, I'm not going to get to test at all until we get back on Tuesday. By which time, I'm sure the rusty fucker will be here.

So wish me luck girls - today's the last day I'll be able to post here until I get back, at which point I'll know one way or another. Make sure you've got the cake and vino on standby!

Hello all, first post since my dads funeral, trying to get back to some normality. Even though I have not posted I have been trying to keep up to date with everything. I am so pleased for all the BFP's, its absolutely fantastic to hear this and welcome to any newbies. As far as I am concerned my AF has been all over the place for the last month probably shock of dad so we haven't been ttc this month When I get next AF I will then start again and hopefully join in with this great BFP party. Nice to speak to you all have a great day.xxxxxxx

AlbaDeTamble · 28/04/2010 12:47

Best of luck Viv! Fingers crossed and will be checking for good news on Tuesday - hope the fun weekend takes your mind off the wait - I know my holiday did, made it a blissfully short 2ww.

Goodluck LittleMiss, we need a run of BFPs and fab job offers now

Good to see you back Urd, what a time you've been through. Such a sad time, I hope you get some comfort from your fondest memories of your dad.

Magic8ballhastheanswers · 28/04/2010 13:18

ok, supposed to be the hottest day of the year, dd1 at nursery and I am not working today so where is the BLOOOMIN sun?!?!?!?!?

How we doing ladies??

Great to hear from you Urd x

ooooooooh viv have a fab time - at least you have lots to take your mind off those last gruelling days of the 2ww. Fingers crossed for all you girlies on the 2ww! x

pretty can't help on the boob thang but giggling at your cat, mine is the same love him.......totally lacking in the elegance department when on the move

I hope your interview goes well today Littlemiss

Hello to everyone else, am off now to try and find el sol !

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

malteser1981 · 28/04/2010 13:41

Viv - have a lovely relaxing holiday, what a way to do the 2ww! Fingers crossed for you!

Urd - nice to see you back.

*BFP CLUB - HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to all tthose who have had a BFP!

Cheepz · 28/04/2010 13:44

urd glad you are back, and hope you get stronger as days go on

viv - i will symptom spot for you in your absence - good practise for when we start ttc again, have stellar time, and with you on the 'just say no' to early testing situation, who needs that?!

prettymrsg beanbag down the stairs - loving it, thats what DS sounded like when he slipped this morning (hold off calling the socail, it was only a couple of stairs!!)

good luck lilmiss

so I have had an e-mail from the guy saying he is in a board meeting today but wants to call and discuss the job at some point today and when am I free. I have given tight timescales so he has to call me at specific times (or not) so I am not mooching around all day wondering about it. Its exciting though!

hope everyones ok - any top of the list testers? clareanna redhed, any sign of LucyT66 - took iced lemon muffin off after someone said yesterday she is on diffferent cycle elsewhere - I am nothing if not brutal with the list - after all, I want to know who to badger about testing

Aw thanks girls.

Non-symptom spot alert - I've just popped out to buy my US dollars and almost threw up in the M&S Bureau de Change queue. It came out of nowhere and (prepare to be grossed out), I had to swallow it back down...

I'm putting it down to the rank beef sandwich I had from the canteen, obv.

OP posts:
digitalgirl · 28/04/2010 14:42

you is so preggars viv

Well, despite being told on Monday that I was no where near ovulating I have still been getting period-like cramps in my back. And had the scantest EWCM yesterday. So we SWI'ed. I know it's just hormones being all up in the air. But twas a big deal for me as it's the first time we've had sex since the mc.

Do not think I'm actually ovulating yet though, but now the programme's up and running so am in that 'ooo, I hope this month's lucky' camp.

Have purchased his n her ttc vitamins too. Bloody expensive, but thought I'd give it a whirl and see if it brings my cycle length down. It's gotta be cheaper than bulk-buying CBDs.

PrettyVacant1 · 28/04/2010 14:45

Hey Urd good to see you and as the omniscient Cheepz and Alba did say I hope you find comfort and strength in time to come.

(unusual I know )
But you have to get a BFP before the end of this fred Viv you started it and sorry but thems da rules.
A-hem sounding like the non symptoms are masking as lunch and the rusty fucker maybe going on his jollies too.

I didn't say a word.

Although it does concern me a leetle bit that you have sore norkage as well.

Good luck and have a fab time xx

VivClicquot · 28/04/2010 14:51

Cheers doll. I'll bring you all back some Hersheys or some Reeces Pieces or some of that other rank advent-calendar tasting stuff they masquerade as chocolate over there.

ps Urd, forgot to say it's lovely to have you back. Hope you're doing okay x

OP posts:

urd lovely to hear from you

viv-up-v-duff you really are, I'm in agreement with the others!

digi it's really hard first time after, I cried and DH was very understanding.

I'm an iphoner so find it hard to cut and paste. Perhaps next lister (looks at the military organised sergeant cheepz) could add me to grads (flutters eye lashes).

Laughing at cats and children on stairs. Wabits have an odd physiology so can bound up but can't get down due to huge arses and back feet to they chill out on the landing (eating bath mats) waiting to be carried down again.

Welcome back Urd, will agree with others you are preggers Viv!

LucyT66 · 28/04/2010 17:48

Afternoon lovely ladies!

Major congratulations on all the BFPs. What a run.

I've been lurking as usual. Haven't tested yet - don't think I could cope with a BFFN.

But if there's no sign of the witch by Friday, I'll test then.

Earlier in the month, I thought - no way will this be my month, mainly cause i had very little EWCM. In fact, none. And i thought, that's it, I've had enough, I'm going to join Underneaththestream in barren old hag land.

But now i'm thinking maybe maybe maybe a little miracle. Only two more sleeps xxx

Please wicked witch, do not visit me tonight xx

PrettyVacant1 · 28/04/2010 17:56

Put a whittled spoon under your bed Lucy
That'll keep the witch away.
Fingers crossed for a BFFP

Don't suppose you have sore boobage too by any chance?

LucyT66 · 28/04/2010 18:34

Ha - a great idea Pretty. The worrying thing is, if i had one, i probably would. I'm at the stage I'd try anything.

Yes, boobs pretty sore. I can't stop feeling them. Also can't stop going to the loo - not cause I need to pee but cause i need to check to see if a BFFP's still a possibility.

Oh god, I've been trying to stay calm. Now I'm working myself up into an anxious frenzy.

Moofold · 28/04/2010 19:11

Well done Bunny, excellent news my friend. Although I'm tempted to demand a steward's enquiry into where my BFP went this month after this run of success!

Good luck Cheepz and littlemiss with the jobs. Sounds v promising for Viv and perhaps LucyT too?

Good to hear from Urd again, glad you are feeling up to posting again.

Nothing to report here, RTD in its latter stages thankfully. Waves to everyone else about x

LucyT66 · 28/04/2010 19:21

sorry, i also meant to say, it's good to see you back here Urd. Hope you are doing okay xx

WestYorkshireGirl · 28/04/2010 19:58

Crikey, ladies! So much excitement I can hardly contain myself - fingers and toes crossed for some BFPs, lucy and viv! It makes me chuckle that we openly discuss boob feeling in such an open way - that was the thing that made me think I might be pg first time!

Moo I am with you on feeling left out this month too and the list is looking decidedly shorter!

I have begun SWI again - last month we tried every day and wore ourselves out a bit so I am going for every other day (quality rather than quantity) for a week or so and as last cycle was a week shorter than before I've no idea really. DH just left to see a friend and I said 'are you back late then?' and when I expressed sadness at that he said ' but it's my night off!'. Although I feel this TTC lark has been hard-going at times, there have been some funny moments!

I'm never very good at spotting the EWCM, especially when SWI as the only thing that seems to come out is DH's good stuff which is frustrating! How does everyone else monitor it?

cheepz did you get your call?

Hi to everyone else - we had no sun here today - quite bleak or maybe that's because I was stuck under spreadsheets and budgets all day....

Muser · 28/04/2010 20:01

Oh gosh, look at all those BFPs! Congrats everyone.

clareanna · 28/04/2010 20:22

viv am going to chase you to heathrow and march you into Boots to buy test - the suspense is killing me!!! Have a lovely weekend in Baltimore

Moo it will be our month next month. Valentines day babies all round!

Urd nice to hear from you again xx

Pleased to say my RTD has just arrived!!! As you know, I've had a break from TTC, and so am feeling good. This is the first completely cycle that has been completely normal since MC, (3rd cycle) and so I feel next month we will be able to have far more luck.

Good luck to all the boob feelers!

BUnderTheBonnet · 28/04/2010 20:26

Lol at westyorkshiregirl's DH's good stuff - I have the sme problem. I have to go back and change my mind on fertility friend quite often.

I am also with digitalgirl on finding post-mc sex a bit traumatic. DH is totally oblivious though, and full of joy at the prospect of conceiving again. And (big confession coming up...) I can't sleep with the light off anymore! I feel like a 5 year old again

randomimposter · 28/04/2010 20:44

Hi all

Have been lurking a bit but mostly on my phone so not able to post. Have been up to eyes in it getting house on market, and settling DS into nursery.

WOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE - look at all those BFPs and all this good news. Big happy congrats (with an appropriate dollop of ). Special squeeze to Alba - you go girl!

welcome back Urd.... been thinking of you.

Well have had the result of my day21 test, but not spoken to anyone about it yet. Progesterone level was 55.9 (apparently range is 5.3 - 86), but don't really know what that means. Any light shed by anyone? Plan to ring GP for discussion, and also take number to next acu appt; she wanted to know. Started brown spotting 3 days ago (which seemed like a slightly early start to RTD) but wouldn't usually go on that long before full flow... wondered if this is what acu does, in terms of regulating cycle a bit? On the positive side this WTF cycle is shorter than last time (though even as I type this I realise that this may NOT be the start of RTD at all ... of course this is WTF - there are no blimmin rules....).

Feel a bit like an injured footballer at the moment... feel like a dislocated part of the squad.... watching the goal-scorers and medal-winners. REALLY happy for my team-mates, but keen to be back playing myself...

Moofold · 28/04/2010 21:07

Hurrah for a normal cycle Clare although I have no twin anymore

WYG not surprised to hear you're not up for another sexathon. I think once every 2 days will be sufficient - good luck!

Clare I have calculated that if I get my BFP it will be around about valentine's day - which is DD's bday! I said I would take a christmas or new year baby so a double celebration is no biggie.

Hiya Jollster - you'll be back in the saddle before you know it and obsessing with the best of us x
