Morning Lou I have just updated chart temp dipped a little, but only as low as the first triphasic day, iykwim.

BUT I was lulled by false sense of security of the temp and POAS, in fact I peed on 2 sticks - an ebay early/cheapie and an FR. BFN on both. Fucksticks. Meh. And then TG said "well that'll teach ya" (for testing easly. Insensitive twat!

No other symptoms except yesterday I treated myself and mate to coffee at the hell that is softplay centre and it tasted foul, really bitter. Mate said hers was fine, so I made her drink mine and she said there was nothing wrong with it. Maybe she just likes really bad coffee or maybe it is a symptom. Am officially in a bad mood now though and will not be getting hopes up. I feel like I hate my body today. Bah.

Anyway enough moaning about me. How is everyone else?

Loujalou · 15/04/2010 09:30

I once cooked pork belly in my 2ww it was so salty it smelt like fish. I convinced myself that was a symptom but TH thought the same. Still believed it. That and forgetting how to indicate on my car. Thought I must be losing my marbles therefore won a baby. Nope. Wrong again. Maybe it is a sign but at least no sign of RTOD that is always the best sign.

No more hypno for me. Just need to listen to the MP3 player track I have got.

Think I might get a personal trainer and concentrate on getting fit. Might be a plan now I am stopping hypno and acupuncture and concentrating on fun stuff!

PollyPoo · 15/04/2010 09:40

Lou the only way I can listen to that hypno CD is asleep - the woman's voice is so annoying and I'm sure her use of english language is crap. She doesn't finish sentences off properly. Or maybe it is just that I am drifting off!

Shame you are stopping the needles, they can take up to 3 months to work fully, but I know its not for everyone. Good news about the doctors - at least you should get moved along fairly quickly now. I also keep making noises about getting fit, but the only time I have is when Boo is at preschool and I always seem to have so much to fit into those precious few hours.

Must go and get arse in gear, lunch with friend in Bath today and I am not dressed. Or showered. In fact, I am still wearing yesterdays make-up

Loujalou · 15/04/2010 09:45

I was ok with the needles until I started reading this book and website. Apparently in studies done the needles are no more effective than placebo needles put anywhere on the body. I probably shouldn't have read the book but didn't realise it covered acupuncture and homoeopathy and how there was no studies to prove they worked. Damn me for trying to read something more intelligent than Marian Keyes (I heart her).

Have fun in Bath. I should be working so off I go.

UmBongo · 15/04/2010 22:07

No sorry Lou, don't have any connection with website apart from clicking on it cos I like the song!

I wouldn't worry too much about alternative medicine, you will always find reports that say it is all a load of tosh, but there are also reports that say it works. Homeopathy works on animals, so how they say that they know about placebos I don't know. It is all in a catagory I call "Weird shit" that seems to work but no-one knows how! Same as reflexology etc!

My tattoo doesn't have to be spelt right does it?

( I think I may be tired, my typing is appalling - I am wearing out the delete key and when writing spelt, wrote it as slept twice) Night night all.

Loujalou · 16/04/2010 09:01

Polly I see your temp is still up [stalker emoticon]. No sign of the dreaded droid then! You tried to POAS or are you gonna wait til the weekend? Even if you have not won a baby this is good news? Fingers crossed you do and you never have to use the clomid.

Um you are right there is weird shit but maybe will try alternative stuff again in a few months. Just want to concentrate on getting fit / non baby stuff.

PollyPoo · 16/04/2010 10:27

Hello my lovely stalker Lou! Well I did POAS, went off to dress Boo, came back and swore I could see faint line. Took photos with phone and camera, obviously discarding any pics that didn't show the line... now I am not sure if it is evap, just the shadow of the strip of stuff with the chemicals on iykwim, or a 100% genuine duff guarantee. Gah!

But then again I am still only 11DPO/CD28. Even if I am not up the duff this a major effin miracle in itself!

Loujalou · 16/04/2010 10:39

OMG! Fingers crossed its not an evap line!

PollyPoo · 16/04/2010 10:52

Bit scared now! Am not going to think about it - it really is so faint I could be making it up. Will check again tomorrow or sunday and let you know.

PollyPoo · 16/04/2010 11:50

Laydeez I have posted 2 photos on my mn profile so you can see if you think it is a line or if I am truly menkul. {grin}

Loujalou · 16/04/2010 11:56

Your stalker here. Looks like a line to me.

I will wait til you have a proper line before celebrating. See its cos you decided you weren't sure you wanted another baby

At least even if it was an evap line, your cycles are behaving. Maybe I will have my acupuncture session next week. But I did make it to 14 dpo before spotting last month which was a miracle for me.

PollyPoo · 16/04/2010 12:00

Thanks Lou. I am trying not to get too excited just in case. Tis true - I seriously had decided to forget about ttc and live my life. FFS!

Icedlemonmuffin · 16/04/2010 13:33

Tiny whispered but excited woo hoo for Polly fingers crossed. On a lighter note I call my dd Boo but she also answers to Jeffery as well, odd I know but you should meet her mother!

Fairygodmother1 · 16/04/2010 19:57

I see a faint line too but don't want to get your hopes up!

UMbongo you decided on that tat yet? You need one in fancy writing saying 'mum' either on your chest or the top of your arm, maybe a crying heart on your foot or ankle! You neec to bright blonde streaks in your hair & always have your belly hanging out.

PollyPoo · 17/04/2010 07:17

Well, I got more +ives! The faintest ever shadow on the ebay cheapie - so faint in fact, that if I'd had that result yesterday I prolly wouldn't even have seen it. BUT the FR gives a definite YES!

I am mostly feeling very shocked. I was in de nile yesterday and even tried to drink a cider last night, but it tasted foul which just confirmed things for me. Same as last time I have immediately gone off booze and coffee.

Icedlemonmuffin · 17/04/2010 08:11

Congratulations Polly I am really happy for you , fingers crossed for a very easy eight months!

I'm a bit that you don't have to swi any more.

PollyPoo · 17/04/2010 08:33

Thanks Iced - do you know, I hadn't even thought of that!

Of course it is early days and I'm trying not to get too excited. But have already worked out I am due 27 December.

UmBongo · 17/04/2010 09:37

HOORAY Congratulations Polly Well done, I am so pleased that it can happend even for us old timers!!!! Happy Christmas Polly!

FG1 Not quite decided on my tat yet, but there is certainly enough belly to hang out! Oooh do I have to get my belly button pierced so that can hang out in a great red infected lump too?

Loujalou · 17/04/2010 09:41

Woohoo to nekkid dancing. That is great news. See you had a rubbish month with Boo being ill you probably weren't so stressed about the baby making so you managed to make a Xmas baby. Holly for a girl and Joseph for a boy

Well if Pol can do it then the rest of us need to get in there for baby Holly to play with otherwise she will be all alone.

PollyPoo · 17/04/2010 10:03

Thanks Lou and Bongo. I can't stop grinning!

Exactly - if I can do it anyone can! With a very short LP and having hormone levels off the scale, and being told I'd never get pregnant with levels like that, I have proved them wrong. Just have to stay duffed now! Not going to cancel the appt with the fertility clinic yet tho (19 May) as I don't want to tempt fate.

I swear it is all down to the chinese herbs and the acupuncture. And the four million supplements I've been taking every day of course.

Fairygodmother1 · 17/04/2010 19:46

YAY!!!!!! POLLY!!!!!!! So pleased for you!

I had lots of baby cuddles today! Wasn't jealous but it felt so natural, carried her around the park as her siblings played with DH on the swings. made me feel so much more positive than I've been recently!

Lou we've managed to rake up 3 times this month & Pol only did it twice so there's a possible chance we might give the xmas baby a friend.

Um yes you can have an infected lump on your belly too. Have you stocked up on you stained/faded vest tops?As it's friday we need the vodka & cokes in cans & meet you down the local park - could be our lucky night!

(BTW DH just went round the local shop & heard a woman speaking to cashier saying she's just got married but didn't need to change her surname as it's the same as her new hubby

Fairygodmother1 · 17/04/2010 19:50

Der - it's saturday night!!!! Those vodka & cokes have already gone to my head lol !!!

UmBongo · 17/04/2010 21:55

I'm on my way FG1, i'll go to the shpar and pick up some more wkd on the way - shee you there, hope we pull! Jusht got to get the trowel to get the resht of me make-up on.

(I hope your dh is enjoying his glimpse into redneck culture!!!!!)

UmBongo · 17/04/2010 21:57

Iced Why does your daughter answer to Jeffrey? I call ds all sorts of things, but not yet called him Mabel!

Icedlemonmuffin · 17/04/2010 22:46

UmBongo shouldn't you be in the park sickin up blue sick (result off drinking blue wkd) on the roundabout and getting off with lads in baseball caps and trainees! Like the idea of belly button ring but it was bogof so you got nipple pierced as well!!!

Dd heard the name jeffrey on the train when she was about 2, said that she was a jeffrey before she lived with us and she liked being called jeffrey. So for about six months she didn't really answer to any other name, which resulted in alot off odd moments and weird looks. Imagine shouting jeffrey and round the corners comes a cute blond girl in pink. Even know I sometimes call dd jeffrey and she answers.

Hope you and Fairy have got your thermals on it's cold in the park!!
