Ok, feel a bit scared actually starting the new thread but here we are, for however long (or short) our time here may be.

Off you go ladies. Welcome () one and all.

unbuffy gentle nudge to test girly!

Gi1da · 23/03/2010 14:01

Alba wonderful wonderful news! Do remember to get the type of clear blue that doubles up as a party popper and shoots out sparkly ?Congratulations you?re up the duff? streamers. I bet Waitrose does them.

Spottysox ? thread kittens oh yes yes yes, though we might want to warn MrG about a potential sausagegate incident

Littlemiss ? wishing you minimal fondlage and a mindatrest result

TFLS super to hear your good news [hoorah]

Urd sorry the trailer weren?t a rocking, but time away is always bloody good for the soul, and we?re gearing up to a very successful next run at the baby winning game. I feel a lucky streak coming on! PS fudge eminently welcome.

Clareanna ? glad to hear the yanks didn?t arrest you for indecent boobage!

Unbuffy Did you go for the pee in a pot for later usage option or do we have to wait till tomorrow? [nudge]

MrsG Do let us know what Alice is like, I bet Johnny Depp will be amazing [swoon]

And re frottage, I think I was very making a very inappropriate and unfounded comment about your potential conduct as a commuter, then realised that I didn?t know where my head was at.. and I really should put this spade down and refrain from making this hole any larger....

Sorry can't namecheck all, I have to get back to pesky work... Wishing you all a wonderful spring day! JulesAbs, Barrenbrook, WestYorks, GLB, Allthe8s, Liahgen66, Jollster, Hippy - helloo

VivC ? 'allo 'allo

So sorry for missing anyone off! [runs away from keyboard at sound of approaching colleagues...]

Gi1da · 23/03/2010 14:02

Hellooo!

Unbuffy · 23/03/2010 14:04

Happygirl that may not be It, you know. It may just be too early. Not getting your hopes up, but the stats re testing are so poor it's ridiculous. Not entirely sure why we put ourselves through it, tbh.

[SELF-INTERESTED RANT ALERT]
Think I'm too afraid (of results either way!) to poas. Before Day 28 I was fine, even wanted to. Now I'm **ing terrified. Have days/hours/minutes of 'yes i am because...' / 'no i'm not because...', but at least i do have a bit of hope currently.

I know last month was 28 days, but before i got pg last time I had really odd length cycles. Possibly just because of b/f etc (this is no longer an issue) and long gap after having dd before period returned. But I dunno. Not sure what they're supposed to be like really due to being on pill since 14ish - prescribed due to 2 week bleeds.

Someone tell me I'm officially LATE and I might have the guts to do it. [dithering and panicked emoticon]

Sorry everybody, don't mean to rant 'n' ramble, is very selfish i know when some of you are going through awfulness and i'm just a big fat chicken.

Where the hell has that zen gone, just when i need it?

Gi1da · 23/03/2010 14:15

Sneaks back into thread and

AlbaDeTamble · 23/03/2010 14:20

[Alba passes incense and sickbowl back to unbuffy to see if she retches -- much more reliable than HPTs]

Allthe8s · 23/03/2010 14:49

unbuffy........maybe you should just test hun?

MrsGazebo · 23/03/2010 15:05

Gaaargh, just a flying visit on mowbli.
Want to stay and play but only got 18 mins and need to eat.

Alba great news!

Unbuffy POAS!

G1da I actually thought you made a typo and meant fretting!
I was lucky enough to get a seat so no, still no frotting went on even if Mr.G was sitting opposite.
May try next time if train is delayed. not!

Have to go now, catch up later after Alice.
Sorry not to check everyone
xx xx

Hello Ladies,

Have been offline for a while. Been back at work (sort of) and having a hard time. Don't like the fact that work is getting in the way of grieving, sounds odd, I know. But had meeting Thursday with Manager, HR and my Union rep and sorted a few things out. Then over the weekend realised that was what was happening..

Have updated stats as I seem to have lost a few days. Am actually CD64 but that might change later - feeling distinctly like the RTD is looming!

Sorry I haven't been able to catch up with the thread. Will try tomorrow

Unbuffy · 23/03/2010 17:31

So. On dh's instructions, just got on with it.

well, big fat possibly. faintest possible line. So no idea yet - will try again in a few days if nothing changesc(ie no rtd!)

A bit less petrified, as still no real answers!! Can stay in limbo a bit longer. Thanks for ommmmmms and incense, has helped and i feel a bit calmer. Also dd started walking just after lunch (seriously. No attempts before, just stood up and WENT.) And that made me feel and much more zenny (once heart-fluttering had died down some).

Will keep you posted...

AlbaDeTamble · 23/03/2010 17:43

a line is a line unbuffy, here's to stickiness and proper bfps for us both by the weekend, meantime zen-like calm...

And a big yay to your DD!

spottysox · 23/03/2010 17:59

unbuffy great news a line is a line . Well done to DD, now you'll need to go proper shoe shopping ooh I love little shoes.

I just googled 'frotting' It happened to me many years ago on the tube in London, I screamed and he ran away. How did you ladies get onto such a subject

Goodluckbear · 23/03/2010 18:07

What, what??!!!!!!!! Unbuffy, please buy a zillion pee sticks and start POAS once an hour for the next - I don't know - five days or something. I mean, don't get up in the night or anything, and I realise you probably won't need to wee every single hour, so er, yeah, maybe that's an unreasonble request. But OMG - a faint line is still a line!!

Jeez - this is too much excitment, I'm going to have to have a lie down.

Alba and Unbuffy. This did all just happen today, right?

xxxxxxxxxx

Goodluckbear · 23/03/2010 18:08

No, wait, I still can't get over it.

Thank god all the slackers left work hours ago and didn't just witness my "Hail to the BFP" victory dance.

xxxxxxxx

wannabeamum · 23/03/2010 19:10

Have been AWOL recently ladies, but have popped on to say a massive congrats to alba and unbuffy! Blooming exciting stuff!!

Hello to everyone else.

I'm fining to watch one born every min tonight - I find I can't not watch - anyone else like that?

wannabeamum · 23/03/2010 19:11

Going to watch - gosh doing this on a phone isn't as easy as it seemed!

shinysideup · 23/03/2010 19:35

Haven't been around for a couple of weeks so popped in for a peek and saw all this brilliant news! Made my day. Congrats to Alba and Unbuffy and so glad your scan was good TFLS.

RTD got me yesterday. Trying to pretend I didn't do 5 tests in the few days before , well, you never know eh?
Still, feel ok. We're off to NZ for a month next week. Definitely my most fertile time whist we're in mid air so unlikely we'll get lucky this month. I've decided (gulp) to leave behind all my pee sticks and thermometers and go au naturel. Chances are so slim with the timing that I'm going to just relax and enjoy the holiday. Will still SWI of course and will just take one PT just in case

barrenbrook · 23/03/2010 19:49

Oh my goodness, I am welling up Alba & Unbuffy Congratulations! am quietly happy and excited for you.

Jollster Sorry for hogging all the OB!

TFLS Great news about the scan lovely, please keep popping in and keep us updated.

Got to run for now, puppy is having his nightly mentalist time and keeps launching himself at me and the laptop.

Hello to everyone else (waves)

Pollyanna · 23/03/2010 19:52

Congratulations Alba and unbuffy!Blimey that was quick - I'm not even sure I ovulated this month!

I have had a horrid week as dh decided he didn't want to shag at all (in my fertile week), and in fact didn't want another child. I still don't know whether he does or not, but now he has decided that he will swi, even though I am on day 21 so in fact he knows there is no chance of pregnancy.

I have to think how to deal with all of this - and in some ways the thought of getting pregnant was the only thing that helped me through the mc. I can't bear it if my last experience of pregnancy and childbirth was having a foetus dragged out of me in A&E. Sorry to drag the mood down, but if you don't see me here again, it's down to my sodding "d" h.

BunnyBaby · 23/03/2010 20:14

unbuffy that's brilliant news! Pleased for you a million times over!

polyanna sorry to hear dh not working with you. Have you asked him what he's worried about? It took 15 mths to conceive DS1 due to DH's avoidance techniques ( he was worried about being a dad and money). By the time we were ready for DS2 he was much more cooperative as his concerns had been met. He only took 3 months to conceive ( got lucky on the 1 cycle of SWI every day). He may be worried about you and men ( well mine anyway) find it hard to talk about feelings. Take care and be kind to each other xxx

WestYorkshireGirl · 23/03/2010 20:16

So much action today ladies - I can't keep up!
Great news about BFPs Alba and Unbuffy. Also, lovely to hear about TFLS scan. My MC was on the actual day of my scan (after they couldn't really find much) and it's great to hear a reference to the fact that not all scans are bad.

Polyanna I hope you resolve things with your DH - they can be a bit random sometimes can't they?

Anyone got any ways of getting though long cycles - the days seem to drag on and knowing I've got another 30 days until I might be able to test (as I will be late after day 36/37) seems ages away... I know chocolate helps so you can't suggest that!

WestYorkshireGirl · 23/03/2010 20:18

PS I'm glad we sorted things with the stats - I wouldn't have wanted to commit a MN crime or anything....

Allthe8s - I won't hold it against you - it was Monday afterall!

AlbaDeTamble · 23/03/2010 20:20

Thanks all for such kind and lovely messages.

Pollyanna, I found one thing that did help with DH was to explain to him that I actually genuinely feel more up for it than usual at most fertile times, so not just wanting lots of SWI because we need to, but because I want to -- makes him feel more wanted and not just that he has to perform, iyswim, and is also true. Helped us, might help you? It's a really difficult one and so incredibly frustrating!

Barrenbrook and Jollster, and anyone else who'd like some, case of Oyster Bay here if you'd like a glass or two -- please save a little for me till I'm out of the super high risk first few days, just in case I need it.
