The Palace is open and the anti-freeze is flowing - Blue Bols 50p a shot! Two for one on Archers and orange, for the classy BESHies (the ones who keep their hats on whilst undergoing an internal examination).

We have Vampire Bill and Brian Cox in the Dungeon, and David Mitchell and Brian Eno tending the bar....

They have emergency gynae at my place gin, which basically is the EPU. If I get twingy or have pain I live across the road from a big hospital with a maternity wing. I will go straight to their A&E and get meself seen to, promise!

Scorpette · 14/02/2010 22:05

Am glad you can get to an EPU so easily, Muser, and that you won't hesitate to visit, if anything happens

Thanks for the support, guys. I was planning on going in and risking being so ill I have to be sent home (although Bossfriend is really bad-tempered and I've been so ill she's had to send me home before and she's been really angry and uncaring). Also, I sometimes get cramps so bad it triggers off an adrenal crisis (main feature = non-stop projectile vomiting), which I have to go to hospital to get treated and I'm getting some of the signs tonight. Last time I had to not go to work for this reason, she shouted at me down the phone as I was being rushed to hospital by my parents for being useless and that she grins and bears it when ill, so I should too. Note to others: don't work for mardy friends.

Sorry, I know this is sooooooo trivial, just feeling really anxious and crappy at the mo. I'm boring myself too, if it's any consolation.

Eadwacer · 15/02/2010 07:31

You OK this morning Scorps?

Scorpette · 15/02/2010 09:33

Yeah, think bad day will be tomorrow. Hu..rray? How are you, Eadbanger? Did you have a successful sexytime?

How's everyone today? Will be incommunicado till ce soir.

HawaiianCuntShine · 15/02/2010 09:36

I thik we all need a good stiff round of drinks! Shall we use Cunty's fine crystal / / / / / / / / Right, Muser there's yours!

Scorpy your anxiety and crappiness is always consolation. Hope you were able to skip the worst of it and not end up in the hospital - last time I was there, they refused to serve alcohol except in swab form... (not the best delivery method, I might add)

Bit of a mixed bag here, great Valentines Day and all, except I had to work, oh yea - and Friday they cut my pay again. Think inj have given me a slight infection and a low grade temp, that I'm worried is roasting the trio... I def need a drink! ok, feeling much better now. [toofless grin emoticon]

iggypiggy · 15/02/2010 09:50

Have just dropped in for a quick grope of scropy and muse's tits.

salander · 15/02/2010 09:54

i actually have to WORK today??!??! what the fuck?

PollyPoo · 15/02/2010 10:21

Cuntshine that is not good - do they need to give you anti-b's?

Scorpilicous glad you are feeling a bit better today, I hope that bitchbag of a boss is serving up humble pie today.

Ead was you getting jiggy over the weekend too? I ov'd yesterday so let the 2woofling commence... We SWI'd so much I got cystitis and that hasn't happened in a long time

PollyPoo · 15/02/2010 10:23

Muser just caught up on yesterdays posts - can I just say I think you are being well brave. I know you are probably not feeling it, but you are. Big squeezes to you and roundhouse kicks to everyone else.

Eadwacer · 15/02/2010 10:53

I did! I totally got mine - WHOOOOOO!

He woke me up saying very seriously and sweetly 'Will you be my Valentine?", which you'd think he needn't ask after 14 years, and then got down on it in the evening for romance purposes. He had no idea that, in the parlance of the fertility charts that I now stoically keep to myself, the little rabbit has gone purple. I'm not tippity-top FFJing for another day or so, so hopefully will leap upon him with gay straight abandon then, too...

Just. Honestly. So fucking relieved that it CAN still be done, you know? Honestly had convinced myself that that was it, and I'd need to go and hang out in a lay-by on the M4 and entice a trucker with a Ginster's pasty and a fag.

pollypoobums I haven't had a proper 2woofl yet what with last cycle being a wash-out of rejection and tears, so am in twisted fashion looking forward to giving menkulness free rein, and stocking up on creme eggs and Tanqueray for the almost-inevitable droid......

Scorpy glad you're not too icky today and will plead with the fairies that tomorrow is also good.

PollyPoo · 15/02/2010 11:03

Ead what on earth kind of rabbit have you got? Mine does not change colour... although it changed the colour on my face last week when I left lying around on the floor for the electricians to find.

laurielou · 15/02/2010 11:09

silversky WOOP WOOP! Fab-a-licous news

muse the nightmare continues. You may not feel it but you are sounding incredibly brave to me. I just hope that you find out what the merry-hell is going on, and soon.

The boyf & I got jiggy-wiv-it on Sat. Gawd knows if I'm officially WOOLFing as my last cycle was short for me so not really sure what's going on.

Valentine's Day was rubbish. The boyf thought he'd had a heart attack (indigestion) & I couldn't move due to monster hangover following rugby fest on Sat. Who'd be a Wales supporter? Still, at least I was tucked up in bed by the time one of our players went drink driving down the M4 in a golf buggy. That's Welsh class you cannot buy!

Muser · 15/02/2010 11:51

Is anyone else casting glances at the "is trying to conceive a baby at 32 v v late?" thread?

Eadwacer · 15/02/2010 11:53

polly - har, it took me a while to unravel your meaning! Nah . . . I use this mymonthlycyles.com wotsit to work out when OV day is, and they do this disgustingly twee little rabbit picture that gets darker towards the Big Egg Day. So back when I naively thought that the OM knowing the exact workings of my uterus and ovaries was A GOOD THING, we used to jestingly remark 'PURPLE RABBIT DAY!' Which obviously is neither as cute nor as funny now as it seemed at the time (and not very cute or funny then, either).

Am now envisaging heat-sensitive dildos that glow at the moment of climax . I'd pay good money for one o' them...

Eadwacer · 15/02/2010 11:57

Muse allo soldier. I'm going to look at it now purely to fuel hatred at that sort of idiot speak. .. bloody every woman I know (older and a mum, including my own dear Ma and my Gran) has said to me, they think it a bit daft to try for a baybee BEFORE 30 cos you want your freedom & yoof and that. And I trust them WAY more than the Daily Shite or whatever.

No matter how I write that sentence it don't make sense but you know what I mean. 32's babe yet. Fucking panic-mongerers.

Muser · 15/02/2010 12:13

The actual posts on it are fine, it's just seeing the thread title keeps making me think "FFS". Warning though, it does contain a lot of people saying how easily they got pregnant at some great age. Not recommended for our less lucky BESHters.

Eadwacer · 15/02/2010 12:18

Harrumph, I just had a read and then stopped.

Original post is a silly question tho from silly fretful girl that wanted her head patted. I discard her .

Muser · 15/02/2010 13:41

I am entertaining myself on AIBU now. I have decided that people who sneer at cutesy nicknames but happily use DD/DS are BU. I'm not sure it's a popular view.

laurielou · 15/02/2010 13:47

I was about to dive into "32 v v old" bollocks fred, just for the hell of it. Have decided against.

Did have a howl over on some "how much was your engagement ring" fred. Some poor woman only had £3k ring, now everyone slaying her. Hilarious.

Also saw the fred about cutesty kiddy names (barf).

Tis quite amusing on here today........ beats working anyhoo.

SilverSky · 15/02/2010 13:52

afternoon ladies (obviously am using the term ladies very lightly)!

Hoping all those that have been doing the do have a good month. Husband is now worried all sexfests are now a thing of the past.

My dr cant see me til a week on fri! Is this ok or do i see another one? Sorry if dim q!

Cokie · 15/02/2010 14:25

Silver this is fine. There is not much they can do beforehand - you think the 2woofl is bad - it is walk in the park compared to waiting for the 12 week scan - sorry! In the meantime put you feet up on this here barstool just eat whatever you like and blame it on mad cravings...

SilverSky · 15/02/2010 15:09

OkieSmokie fanks. Its gonna be a right test of patience!

HawaiianCuntShine · 15/02/2010 16:12

PollyEggy ahhh, it's good to hear SWI is ON! How rowmantic.

I miss the deed already!

PollyPoo · 15/02/2010 16:19

Hey Cuntshine how are you? Are the buns baking in the oven? When can you POAS?

Ocarina · 15/02/2010 16:47

I just had my first ever visit to a maternity ward (well since I was born on one, and probably visited when my sister was born) to visit a not quite 3 day old. She slept peacefully in my arms which I was impressed at, not so keen on the stories of the c-section which brought her into the world. (Don't get me wrong, I think c-sections are wonderful when it means Mum and baby are both safe at the end of it all, but the idea of being conscious through that is just blergh. But then I'm a wuss).

I was very good and didn't walk out with any of the babies, are you impressed?!
