Hello

I had really bad cramps when I started my period on Friday, period stopped on Sunday and there was nothing until later today but just very light and now stopped again.

I am hoping and holding out from doing a test. I am normally on 5-7days and usually heavy for about 4 days.

What do you reckon, still a chance? Is it worth testing now before I have totally finished. Just that I am supposed to bve going on a mad girly nigt this weekend coming and if there is a chance that I am then I dont want to drink.

Wait til the wkend at least, Lovecloud. I know it's agonising to wait, but if you get a negative you'll only want to test again.

Has anyone ever used the Ultrasensitive tests that you can get on e-bay? (detect 10ml hcg)

I am just about to order some in anticipation of AF NOT arriving (!) and these ones look really cheap, but are they any good?

Good Luck for tomorrow Dana BTW . It's definitely looking hopeful for you.

I would wait until weekend too Lovecloud - sorry - I know how difficult it is to wait.

Thanks girls. I was the same with my DS, homemama, and didn't get a BFP until 1 week overdue. So am hoping this is a repeat
Am trying not to get my hopes up too much, though.
Still no AF, but the pains have almost gone - don't know what to make of that....

Lovecloud, I'm with the other girls - think you should wait until the weekend to test again. That way you should def. get the correct result.

MandM, don't know about the ultrasensitive tests, but from what I know the cheap ones can be just as good as the more expensive known brands.

Hope you don't mind me joining in, had last depo inj in Dec, been ttc, light AF end May and proper AF 7th June. got -pg test on 21, having lots of pg signs, AF due today, no signs yet. will keep you all informed.

i've been wondering what pregnancy tests to buy this time. with dd i had 3 negative and only got a positive when i was actually two months pregnant. i think i will have to keep that in mind for when i test in a few weeks.

I brought some of the cheap ovuation and pg test strips off ebay, only got one pg test left. but ovulation strips still not showing ovulating, thou they do say it can take some time for your body to get back to normal after depo. hopefully now im getting AF wont be too long before PG, but not sure how good tests are. They do seem cheap, but people have said they are as good as any others.

Just got a +ve OV result so rang DH to tell him to get home as early as he can with his trousers round his ankles. Think he was a bit shocked - been a long time since he got a booty call. If ever . Off to run DS round the park a few times in a mo, want him tired and asleep early tonight!

Good luck to Pinklilith on Fri at the docs, and Dana tomorrow. Lovecloud - I'm with the others... if you can wait til the w'end you've got more chance of a definate result, and then at least if its negative you can go straight out and drown your sorrows in a bottle of wine with the girls.

Am wondering myself how good the cheap ebay OV tests are. Bought some and results bit all over place showed pos yesterday morning was very excited, then before did the deed, just to make sure it showed neg was a bit confused but did it anyway . Today showed a +, so must be OVing I suppose but now I'm a bit unsure whats happening.

Tested this morning - BFN
Although I deep down didn't believe that I was pg, I had managed to convince myself that there was a chance, so am quite dissapointed now.
Should teach me not to look at a pg test after the 10 min are up.

Just want AF to arrive now, so that I can get started on a new cycle. No sign yet though apart from the pain that comes and goes
Suppose my system is just adjusting after stopping the pill.

So sorry Dana! How overdue are you? Is there still a chance you could be? Maybe it's just the pill playing havoc with you as you said. Either way, it's miserable and it takes over your life.
I guess if it's definately BFN then roll on AF so you can start trying again. Did you use OV predictor kits? I've bought some this month. I'm only on CD6 so I'll let you know how they go.

2Girls, the second one was probably negative because it was the middle of day. You need to have not had a wee for 6hours which is why they say to test in the morning. I think the pg tests use to be like this.

I brought my OV test from ebay, upto now all been negative, but was on Depo inj, so can take a while to ovulate. Not happy AF showed itself this morning still shows body getting back to normal, better look this month.

Gailey, sorry about af - but as you say it shows a normal cycle and hopefully next month will be yours

homemama, I am on cd32. On the pill my cycle was 28 days and before that around 30, but have no idea how long this cycle will be. I know it ain't over til af arrives and all that, but just don't feel pg at all. With DS I knew the minute he was conceived, haven't got any of those feelings this time.

Anyways, have you all seen Desperatehousewife's good news ? The cheek of her, not coming to tell us first

sorry girls didn't want to brag or look smug. I am absolutely not counting my chickens until they are hatched (!!!?)

Classic - wasn't even trying this month to get preg. So, if you can take the pressure off, go on holiday, relax and just enjoy all the practice.

Congratulations. Hope scan goes well. how many weeks are you? We are going Florida in 4.5 wks so if don't get pg this month, take your advice and enjoy our holiday.

I'm on CD6 today so we're going to start trying this w/e. I've bought some OV tests so I'll start using them on CD10 I think.
