Come on in ladies, the bar is fully stocked with Advocaat, Bailey's and novelty Xmas drinkies and the slaves are wearing Ann Summer 'Santa's Hat' posing pouches. Have also festooned the place with plenty of festive tat and lots of v un-eco and tacky Xmas lights and shit because I know we all love getting Xmassy dead early. There's a fireplace so you can send your wish list to Santa up the chimbley, platters of wooden spoons and coconuts on the mantlepiece and 'Mulled Wine' scented candles lighting up The Pit of Despair. Make yourselves at home!

Aw fanks Iggs, you can throw me to the floor any time.

Cosmosis · 09/12/2009 14:00

I just don?t really see the point in setting myself up for disappointment again, by POAS ? it?s a self preservation thing rather than anything else.

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 09/12/2009 16:35

Sorry ladies, I'm not the Diff of the thread, droid has beeped.

But it's ok as I've had......(drum roll please).....a 31 day cycle! Huzzah! And what's more, I now know my boobs feel unusual during my luteal phase. So it's all to the good, and roll on the next chance!

CurlyCasper · 09/12/2009 16:41

booooo and wooooo for you VAG. Sensible cycle is a good step towards success!

skihorse · 09/12/2009 16:53

VAG I'm sorry to hear you've been droided but very happy that it's within the timeframe of a "normal" cycle.

TwinkleToes76 · 09/12/2009 17:48

VAG and Muser boo to the evil droids.

Scorpette · 09/12/2009 21:04

for VAG and Muser but it does mean that the timing is perfect for relaxed Xmas shagging

And VAG, it is v good news that your cycle seems to be regulating. Bodes well for the future

Had loads of FFJ yesyterday, none today. Is CD13 - dunno what's going on. Bah!

Muser · 09/12/2009 22:18

I may have called Droid too early, it could be ovulation bleeding. Although it's brown which is normally pre-droidy for me, I don't get ov bleeding. We shall see.

Muser · 09/12/2009 23:35

Oh fuck. Just POAS because I wanted to see what would happen.

Instant line. Instant.

Did Clearblue Digital I've been saving. Pregnant. 2-3 weeks. Given my early period and current spotting do we go for chemical pregnancy? Do I just have to sit and wait, and what am I waiting for?

Oh god, this was meant to be really exciting but all I feel is DOOM as I'm sure I can't be actually pregnant. Surely nobody has a 3 day period and stays pregnant? But stupid baby wanting part of me has completely misplaced hope.

PollyPoo · 09/12/2009 23:38

Muser I can understand you feeling cautious but WOOOOO!!! Some people have droid all the way through a pregnancy - maybe you are just one of those?

Muser · 09/12/2009 23:44

Do they really? Or is that just wishful internet thinking? I googled and some boards say "oh yeah, I had periods still, shorter but periods". I don't really want to hope yet. MrMuser says to go to the GP, I suppose that is the next step.

PollyPoo · 09/12/2009 23:54

If Scrops were here she'd tell you the same (I think someone in her family, perhaps mum or aunt, had periods whilst pregnant).

Was your last period lighter than usual? I think a trip to the doc's will help put your mind at rest. As they say... a line is a line. Well done you, I'm so pleased for you! I will reserve full on neked dancing type celebrations until you have been to doc.

Scorpette · 10/12/2009 01:16

I am here, can't sleep! My Gran had normal periods for the first 3 months and my friend's mum was actually on her period when she gave birth (one of those hidden pregnancies - she had no idea). Gran was told this was more common as you get older - she was 40 (friend's Mum was about 34, I think)*.

Also, some women get a bit of bleeding when the baybee is burrowing deeper or whatever it's doing in the first few weeks. But see your Dr tomorrow to put your mind at ease.

A tentative and knackered nekkid dance before bed for you...

*Apologies to all who've heard this before.

Muser Excellent news! I'm not sure it'd be a chemical - 2-3 weeks on a digitial means 4-5 weeks pregnant. For some reason CBD measure from ovulation which just confuses the fuck out of people and you get people running around saying "I'm 1-2 weeks pregnant" - I digress. Anyways... what I am trying to say is that a chemical usually (ime and from what I've read) has low levels of hcg - no fast line - and they tend to disappear by 4 weeks and then the negative tests happen V quickly.

You may have won a baybee! With weird funky bleeding obviously.

Muser · 10/12/2009 07:29

Oh that makes me hopeful Scorps. Eeeeek.

Last period was shorter and lighter, but would have been considered normal by a lot of people I'm sure (I have heavy periods normally).

Am going to call the GP today and see what he says. I'm going for quietly hopeful at the moment. And trying not to think about the vast quantities of booze I've had, at least I tested before the works Christmas do tonight.

Muser · 10/12/2009 07:39

And thanks ski too. More reasons to be hopeful. Eeeeeeeek!

longwee · 10/12/2009 08:16

Woohoo Muser - that definitely sounds like a baybee to me! Sounds like bleeding at some stage is fairly common and doesn't necessarily mean doom. Get thee to the docs lady and keep us posted...

CUNextTuesday · 10/12/2009 08:50

Well done muser!!! And don't forget, alcohol doesn't pass over to the baybee till 6 weeks so you are quite safe (i counted 6 weeks almost to the second, then I stopped drinking )

CurlyCasper · 10/12/2009 08:53

congrats muser - sounds good to me! I bled before my BFP and a couple of weeks later. And carrots had a much more noticable bleed - all down to implantation. If anything, it sound like your baybee is making itself thoroughly at home! If you are five weeks-ish you should be able to get a scan to confirm. Good luck with GP!

CurlyCasper · 10/12/2009 08:54

Did i just write BFP? How unBESH-liek

CurlyCasper · 10/12/2009 08:55

liek like. I give up.

TwinkleToes76 · 10/12/2009 09:30

Oh Muser that is fantastic news! Hope talk with the doc goes well. How bloody exciting!

ClaireDeLoon · 10/12/2009 09:40

Fabulous Muser - I can do the nekkid dance as I'm working at home today.

Are you going to the docs today?

iggypiggy · 10/12/2009 09:49

Off my tits poo or there will be a'reckonin

muser exciting! Excellent news - good luck for doc appt

Bessie123 · 10/12/2009 10:18

Wow Muser that is exciting news. hope all goes well. if there were clots it could be bad news but no clots you should be fine. i had a bleed at around 8 weeks with dd, everything was ok.
