bettymamma SERIOUSLY? Somerset? I'm packing the Tampax also, no point in taking a pregnancy test. May as well start a June thread .

mampam I don't give a sh1t. I'm still going to have 2 BBQ's.

Sorry, I'm really down - everyone aside from me seems to be getting a BFP.

I've got my fingers crossed for you mampam. applesaretheonlyfruit it's you and me in it for the long haul.

curlycasper welcome . North west Devon - why am I not suprised.

Anyone else???

Sorry, DH got my hopes up and I just took a pregnancy test - BFN. I'm just going to adopt, it's easier and there are so many children out there that need love. DH has agreed that if it doesn't happen, we'll adopt a couple of children.

I'm not sure if I sould be announcing this, but you can add boodleboot to the list of graduates . I hope she doesn't mind, I thought she would have posted here by now. Congratulations again boodleboot .

MrsRigby · 22/08/2009 22:23

Anyone else want to tell me they've got a BFP .

Don't mind me morefaith congratulations .

I may as well update the sodding list. And whilst I'm at it jump to the June thread.

DH is muttering that we should have started TTC sooner.

oh Mrsrigby bummer feel for you

congratulations morefaith and bootleboot

Now people I have a dilemma do you want to hear it? So if I am not pregnant this month it will be onwards to June BUT June is close to July and why is this a problem, well DP's birthday is the 14th, DD3's the 15th, DD1's the 20th plus back to school is August so it's like Christmas here, have already told DP no sex in October just in case but as I know from very bitter experience you cannot plan with babies and when to have them, DD3 is only here as her sister or brother didn't make it. So June is our last chance then July and August out os that puts TTC back to September's bus IYSWIM? In saying that DD1 was one shag that month (work we were away a lot), DD2 first month TTC one shag that month, DP's going away present as he moved back to Scotland before me, DB3 first month TTC, DD3 first month TTC after mc, this is second cycle and I believe I had a CP last month, cannot be lucky again can I?

Sorry just musing over my thoughts

WickedWitchSouthWest · 22/08/2009 22:49

We're back in the land of cider Lovely to be home!

I was flinging myself and small person down water slides this morning and I suddenly thought "um, is this such a good idea, what if I AM pg?!" then I went down a couple more times before being distracted by the wave machine, so ho hum. I'm now 90% certain the ob is on her way so wasn't going to let a tiny little maybe get in the way of some fun!

As far as ss goes, I don't really have any this month. I've finally chilled out a bit! Lots of cm tho, and it's lighter in colour than it usually is at this stage. Probably nothing

Yes, I know 14 is quite a lot isn't it? I had a pk of 10 I bought on ebay, then cbd were half price so got one of those too, and the fr were half price a while back so had those. Then I ordered the Zestica and got 5 free ultra early tests! Argh! Have obviously used a few, so 14 left Tempting to poas tmrw morning (will be cd29 12dpo) just to use one up but really don't feel like seeing a bfn at the mo - everywhere I go ppl are announcing surprise pg's and I'm getting shirty!

anyway, anough wallowing in self pity for tonight Am gonna attempt a catch up...

sky27 we get an actual holiday in November - Center Parcs I should think coz it's so easy, but that's still ages away!
hi curlycaspar nice to meet you
mrsr you do give me a giggle I do find that either a quick blow tends to move proceedings along if you only want a quickie! But generally it's me jumping hubby early in the morning - it's apparently a good thing coz the sperm is supposed to be at it's peak level of ripeness!
hope you got your +ve opk beanmum! Ready, steady, shag!
congratulations boodleboot and morefaith. Am ridiculously jealous - MY TURN!!!
sweetkitty I have mad planning moments like that too. Currently we have decided that if I'm not pg after my October cycle then we'll stop for a couple of months. this is coz dd will be starting primary school next Sept and I really don't want to be massively pg or with a newborn traipsing her off to school and feeling like shit generally. So I know what you mean but I'm wondering if we should just keep going anyway and taking it as it comes. Course, this isn't actually going to happen to either of us coz we WILL BE PG BEFORE THEN!!! (doing power of positive thought this week

So shall I test tmrw? or do I really not want to see a bfn? Decisions.

sweetkitty · 22/08/2009 22:54

me on CD27 (day before AF due last time) 30th Oct 2007

"Morning all in a rush have two DC to get ready for Halloween parties, right peed on the ebay cheapie, control line came up straight away nothing on the test, thought bummer BFN, so left test for less than 10 minutes went back had a look and there is the faintest of faint lines, I mean it's not even pink, I know a line is a line but I can even get my hopes up to get dashed. AF due tomorrow so will test again in the morning.

Bloody ebay tests!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ""

and again
"me again, right did a scientific experiment (once a scientist always a scientist) anyway dipped one test in pee, dipped another on water to compare, there is definitely something there a v v v v v faint line. Am so scared to even think it migh be a BFP in case AF turns up tomorrow, btw nothing on the control test (good old ebay tests still have about 4 left). Am so scared to go out and buy a CBD in case a big NOT PREGNANT turns up."

me 31st Oct 2007 "BFP "

So after all that research I conclude ebay tests are rubbish, I have to wait to CD27 whens that Thursdday argh!"

Don't think it's my month

MrsRigby · 22/08/2009 22:56

sweetkitty just go for it.

wickedwitchsouthwest considering the amount of people announcing BFP, you may as well join them in POAS and getting a BFP.

I'm going to go to bed now, hopefully I'll wake up in a much better mood.

So sorry everyone.

Okay AF just come and bloody visit already, I know your going to so just get it over with.

Ladylou83 · 22/08/2009 22:58

Congratulations boodle and More. Well done, fingers crossed there is more of us soon.

I've had a few complications with my stomach recently, so on tuesday Im having full blood tests. Doc has said he is going to test for pregnancy as well. On tuesday I'm going to be on day 24 of cycle. Will a docs blood test be able to pick up a pregnancy if there is one, even at that early stage?

sweetkitty · 22/08/2009 22:58

This is another message from me thought I would share made me cry

"Right here's all the gories especially for Shazza, last AF 4th October, 27 day cycle so next AF due Halloween. Had sex CD11, 13 and 14, couldn't have sex CD15 as neice was staying over and we can't shut bedroom door due to cats but got positive on the cheap opks on Thursday CD15, loads of EWCM since CD13-16, DP was too tired to have sex Friday night so went in mood with him said it was all his fault if I didn't get pregnant and if I did it would be a girl and that would be his fault as well. Anyway yesterday did 4 ebay chep tests all with a faint line, this mornign did another one another faint line, big PREGNANT on CBD.

EDD will be about 9th July 2008, going to be an expensive month for us DP's birthday is the 14th, DD1's is the 20th. DD1 will be 4 exactly, DD2 2 1/2. W

Have already thought if it is a girl it can wear all DD1's baby clothes I kept that DD2 never wore as she was a January babe.

Just have to hope my little pumpkin sticks now."

Just goes to show that those little swimmers can stick around, had a wee tear at that message my wee pumpkin is 13 months old now and the most wonderful little thing ever, never give up hope ladies!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 22/08/2009 23:03

Oh sweetkitty you're making me all emotional!

mrsr I'm sorry it'll probably be a bfn anyhow on a crappy ebay test!

ladylou I don't know, I guess if you'd be about 4 days early at that point a blood test would pick it up? Aren't fr's supposed to work that early? Ao if they do, then a blood test would? SOmeone with a brain help me out here!!

Hi all,
I've been lurking for a few days, as felt like a bit of a fraud as was waiting for AF (check me out with the Acroynms!) to arrive, and she still isn't here............
Now day 32 of my cycle, I think, so could it be!!??
I'm to scared to do a test as I feel like I've been jinxing it. All the syptoms I have had as well, I am convinced that they are phantom symptoms and that it is all just wishful thinking. Really sensitve nipples, although have started to die off a bit now, feeling a bit dizzy, EXHAUSTED, and sleeping like the dead and feel like there is something in my tummy, which I know sounds stupid but we will see. I'm constantly knicker checking thinking that my period has arrived, but so far it hasn't........

I think I will hold off another week and then test. Althought sure AF will appear before then. Anyway think I can do my stats.Good luck to you all, is it going to be this all consuming the whole time of TTC!??

It is positive to hear about those who have had numerous mc/mmc between babies. Makes me think I was just unlucky and should try again!

Question: When you have a scan, and they normally say, "While we're here I'll take a quick look at your ovaries" - does that mean they can see eggs as well??

I am now just over 5 weeks post ERPC and waiting for AF..

ImmaterialGirl · 23/08/2009 10:35

Morning girls,

I'm moving to the back of the bus

It was my first cycle of trying, so not too surprised, but still a bit upset. At least now I know for fairly certain that my cycle is 28 days, which I had suspected as I remember in the past (before pill) thinking I always came on the same day of the week...

I've updated the list and included the newbies, including harryjoes and giantjam who seems to have gotten left off at some point.

I'm fairly sure that with a 28 day cycle I'm still on the May bus, so roll on for another month!

Good luck to everyone testing!

Hello,
I've been lurking for quite a while too (and also on the April bus!) but this is my first post. I am TTC#1, and on D7 of my 3rd cycle.

I'm hoping that chatting with you all will make me feel reassured - it's only been 2 months and I am already feeling like it may never happen! I know that 2 months is a very short time, and there's only a 20 to 25% chance each cycle anyway, but that doesn't stop a tiny bit of me thinking, 'What if someting is wrong?' (after all of these years of trying very hard not to get pregnant!!).

My best friend, who is the only person I have told in real life that we are TTC, got pregnant immediatley with her DC. I know that's really unusual, so I would love to hear how long it took for those of you who already have DCs. For those of you that don't yet have DCs - does anyone feel the same? Or is it just me?!

Good morning all.

Pepperoni, I have 2 DC's from a previous marriage. DD was conceived after a drunken night out and DS was conceived on the first cycle of trying. I am now on my second cycle TTC with what will be DC No3 for me and DC No1 for my DH. Because I conceived straight away with my last two it does make me wonder if there is something wrong. I was 19 and 22 when I conceived my DC so I guess I was at the prime age then. I am now nearly 30, overweight and have irregular periods so I guess it's the circumstances that have changed. My DH also smokes (my exH never did) so I guess that his tadpoles aren't quite up to scratch either.
Good luck TTC .

Beanmum · 23/08/2009 11:07

Sorry ski, that's crap. Chocolate all week at least I'd say. Good luck for next time.

pepperoni - yep, can't help having those niggling doubts too. ds conceived 1st try when I was 29 - dh also conceived my stepson 1st go 9 years ago. Ds now 3 1/2 and I've put off ttc again mainly for work reasons, and (not helped by all the scaremongering in the media recently) can't help worrying that something might have changed - I'm now 33 and dh 41... Can't say we've lived blameless lives re booze + fags, though making a big effort now we're seriously ttc... It's only been 5 months, and my mum had me + brother aged 37 and 40, but still... Trying to keep a positive mental attitude, because as we're all helpfully told by the experts, stress is v bad for ttc. Aaaargh

mampam · 23/08/2009 11:15

Sorry, forgot to say CONGRATULATIONS to Morefaith and Boodleboot

I also forgot to say that this morning I had an odd dream just before I woke up. It was that I had pains in my tummy and I knew that they were implantation pains! Wierd or what?

I find myself symptom spotting again (even though I promised myself I wouldn't put myself through it). I've just realised that I haven't got the usual spotty face that I normally have from ovulation onwards. I also feel tingly down below today (but inside me, if that makes any sense?) and I've got a dull ache in my tummy and back ache.
OK so the rational side of me knows that I'm only imagining these symptoms as when I went on that obsessive website (think it was Sweetkitty's link) it said that implantation could possible occur today, hence the mysterious symptoms and the dream!! Of course it could be AF about to put in an appearance!

CurlyCasper · 23/08/2009 11:22

Just popping by quickly to say congrats to the new graduates - well done!

Must go - I appear to have lost a cheque for £160 and have to turn the entire house upside down...

x

Loujalou · 23/08/2009 11:35

Had my period so can't be preggers but feel this bubbling in my tummy which keeps happening. Only on CD11 so not pregnant from this cycle. Think its wind but is like a flutter. See symptom spotting before ovulation. This is bad.

Congrats to the new grads. Here's to more BFPs!
