Happy birthday sweetkitty!

MrsRigby · 21/08/2009 21:09

Evening everyone

giantjamsandwich and harryjoesmum welcome .

lizzie9442 congratulations .

snowbunny1 what is it with the South West of England, first boodleboot camping in the New Forest, me going to Cornwall and you now camping in the New Forest. DH keeps complaining about how long it's going to take to drive down there - 5+ hours (we live in Liverpool), why the hell did he want to go that far then . I love camping, but cannot put a tent up to save my life. The first time we went camping we had trouple putting the tent up and that was a pop-up . The last time we went with a proper tent, and arrived at the camp site just as it had started raining. We started trying to put it up in the wind and rain, on a hill (???) and after 20 minutes of us screaming abuse at each other a couple of campers came to our rescue and put the tent up for us. For future reference, poker, blackjack (can you still call it that or is that too now phased out in favour of something more PC?) and snap are best not played on a hill. Nor is sleeping for that matter.

wickedwitchsouthwest have a lovely time visiting your friends and good luck on Sunday.

sweetkitty happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear sweetkitty, happy birthday to you.

I've just come back from the shops, where I brought 4 pregnancy tests - Clearblue. DH wasn't that impressed with me spending £25.00+ on them, but hopefully he'll forget all about it when he see's two lovely blue lines - until of course when he checks the bank balance and then I'll just have to make him forget again with a blow-job .

I've brought two normal ones and two digital with conception indicator, but I'm definately not going to test again until 1st September. I am not putting myself through that again .

Okay so symptom spotting today and I'm still having cramping, I feel uncomfortable and I've got a big blue vein and little lumps on my breasts. I just don't know.

I'll bet you any bloody money that AF visits me whilst I'm away next week.

lizzie9442 · 21/08/2009 22:31

thankyou everyone for your congrats, I still cant quite believe it. I'm off to Cornwall for a week tomorrow so when I get back I hope to see lots more bfps, fingers crossed xxxx

Medee · 22/08/2009 07:44

morning all, still doing lots of shagging. No +ve OPK yet, but might as well keep at it!

Medee · 22/08/2009 07:45

oops, didn't mean to bold that word!

MrsRigby · 22/08/2009 10:16

Sodding hell lizzie9442 not you as well , DH, DS and I are leaving first thing Monday morning for a week in Cornwall. Where about's are you going? DH, DS and I are going to be staying in Liskeard next to Pengelly (Pengelly just so happens to be my maiden name!). We're going to try and take in the Eden Project and that big park I can't remember the name of at the moment and as we're National Trust members, we may as well get some use out of that and visit a NT property or two.

Is there some sort of subliminal posting going on? Boodleboot and snowbunny1 camping in the New Forest and you and I going to Cornwall.

I wish instead of the subliminal posting telling us all to visit the South West of England, that it tells us all to get BFP's - not that we're not all trying anyway!

DS woke us up at 12.30am and then 5.30am and after giving him milk and getting him back to sleep the latter time, DH wanted to have sex . I couldn't really say no with the whole pregnancy test thing, so I started by giving him a blow-job and then let him take me. This time he was rather quick and did it in under 10 minutes. Within that time I noticed a spider on the ceiling, so it was probably just as well he wanted sex as otherwise it would have gone unoticed and grown in to a giant. DH and I are both arachniphobics, but I always make him get the spiders .

My philosophy is this, men were invented to give us babies, get rid of spiders and other creepies, put up shelfs and unscrew bottles/jars. There's no other reason for them to exist!!!

memorylapse · 22/08/2009 11:07

This 2ww thing is boring..im convinced that af is going to come too as I feel moody and am craving chocolate!
Congrats Lizzie
last af was on 30th July so I actually should be on cd 24 today..I bought some of the cheapie ebay tests but they probably wont give me a result until Im actually due on..so another week of waiting..grrr

Bettymamma · 22/08/2009 11:15

Ah MrsRigby - you are filthy but funny. Hope everyone has fun in Cornwall, New forest etc - I'm off to Somerset tomorrow - is it something about TTC drawing us to the West??

Happy Birthday for yesterday Sweetkitty - hope your 3 kids spoilt you.

Well i went out and took up the Tesco pg tests offer today but i guess i have to be 9 months gone to get a positive result yes?? Anyone had experiences with these? I ovulated 11th Aug so i am sitting on my hands and just waiting.

No symptoms. Some pains the other day and then nothing, Just like last month. Have packed the tampax for Somerset!

mampam · 22/08/2009 12:24

MrsRigby I live in South Devon does that count???? And we are holidaying in Lancashire in September, so the opposite way around to all you guys coming down south.
Hate to tell you that the weather is shit here at the moment, not raining though!

Hope everyone has a good holiday down here in the west country

Feeling like shit today. It's my friends hen night tonight which I cannot go to because we have no money, I've had two really stressful nights at work, can feel my PMT symptoms coming on so will probably be no bfp for me this time and just feeling in general that my life is shit.

On a bonus side though DC's are at their dad's this weekend so DH and I have gone and bought some cheapo wine and I'm gonna drown my sorrows tonight!!

applesaretheonlyfruit · 22/08/2009 16:42

I didn't want an April baby anyway..

Still no AF since ERPC on 20 July, so I'm buggered if I know where I am. Have decided to use OPK every day and see what happens.. either that or AF will arrive at some point.

sky27 · 22/08/2009 16:44

Well, I thought i'd had it yesterday. By about 9pm I was aching all over, had really bad cramps and a headache. Put on a pad in case of a visit from af. Woke up this morning and nothing, I feel fine Bodies are too confusing!!!

Lucky sods those of you going away, I have to wait till october, taking darling step DCs away for 1st hols.

Hope everyones OK. Any more BFPs?!?

ImmaterialGirl · 22/08/2009 17:25

apples sorry you had to jump over from the April bus -does that mean it's stopped now?
And welcome on here -it's a good bus!

sky I was in B&Q a few hours ago and was 100% convinced AF had got me. Cramping, cold sweating, the works. Just got home and nothing. Have a feeling I'll be taking a seat at the back of the bus by tomorrow , but as they say, it ain't over til it's over...

CurlyCasper · 22/08/2009 18:08

Can I come aboard please? Think I'll be right at the back, almost in the June bus, but estimate May nonetheless - should the first month of TTC be lucky. Nice to see some familiar names on here - and hello to those I'm not aquainted with yet.

Already had my camping trip this year - to north west Devon. It was great!!!

I'm TTC#1 Cycle 1 UCL? CD9

bluesnowfalcon · 22/08/2009 19:45

Thinking of you sky and keeping fingers crossed that AF will not come and get you!

Welcome to the May bus Curly hope this goes well for you

sky27 · 22/08/2009 20:12

Curly Welcome over here, hope it's lucky for you

IM Fingers crossed for you, tell the old witch to B*gger off

Anyone testing tomorrow? We need more graduates

SnowBunny1 · 22/08/2009 20:12

Welcome Curly and Apples hold tight this bus is fast!

Sky, I'm only going for 3 nights so not much of a holiday at the moment. Also, I'm attempting it alone with DD as DH is away. Not sure what I'm letting myself in for

Bettymama hope your period doesn't come and spoil your trip away. You've packed the tampax already but if you pack some wine, soft cheese and pate then you should be safe

we must have some more testers soon, lots of luck to everyone

sky27 · 22/08/2009 20:17

I agree with Snow pack the wine and brie. I've told DH he's taking me out for stilton steak on Thursday (My birthday) If i'm on by then (or don't test positive) as i've been craving it!

Snow enjoy your break, it's sometimes nice to just get away and not think about things, have a lovely time

CurlyCasper · 22/08/2009 20:45

Officially adding myself to this bus - think we need a double decker! x

SnowBunny1 · 22/08/2009 20:58

Thanks Sky, I've promised DD that there will be no jobs to do, just pure play time. She's so excited - only 3 sleeps to go.

mampam · 22/08/2009 21:11

Well DH and I have just cracked open the second bottle of wine (remember, I'm drowning my sorrows tonight?) and I'm feeling a little bit tiddly!! This cheapo wine doesn't taste too bad and to be truthful I'm past the 'caring what it tastes like stage!'.

I'm trying to bring on a bfp by doing naughty things and getting drunk is one of them! May try buying some Brie too .

Welcome and hello to all the newbies .

Fingers crossed for some bfp's for all those who are testing this weekend.

Ladylou83 · 22/08/2009 21:17

Hey Mampam, enjoy ur bottle of wine! I'm south Devon too, so much for bloody sunshine, its either rain or clouds...

mampam · 22/08/2009 21:35

Ladylou considering we supposedly should have some of the best weather in the country it's been pretty shitty this summer so far. I'm hoping for a good September .

Beanmum · 22/08/2009 21:36

Evening all. Can't keep up with you lot...

Big congratulations lizzie

happy birthday sweetkitty - you're just a few months ahead of me...

sorry about the bfn [tobago] - not quite out yet though?

hope the second bottle is going down well mampam

MrsR you're a minx.

Nothing much to report, except that my temperature graph is looking very pretty - no sign of ov yet though. Think probably fertile this weekend, so preparing to embark on a shagathon if we've still got energy after hurling ds and d-step-s around the garden all day... And the sale of our house has just fallen through due to the b**stard buyers being flakey, so maybe i'm due a good hand from fate this month in the form of a bfp.. Pleeeeease?

morefaith · 22/08/2009 21:59

evening all sorry havent been posting last 2 days here in bournemouth very busy due to the air show.
anyway good news is that l got a BFP last night and this morning. we are so excited.Dh is over the moon.
welcome curly, apple, giant and harryBaby dust all testing and all the newcomers.
