Hi Mickbell I guess af must've pounced, given that you've joined us here on the May bus? Not to worry though cos this bus is going to be lucky...

Just a bit of fun?!?!

Anyone heard of lunal natal calendars? Research suggests that you can trigger ovulation if you are relaxed and bd around the same phase of the moon as you were born. According to what I read this is esp. helpful if having fertility problems and is counted as an extra ovulation from the normal cycle one.

Had a look back and i'm one day past the full moon - this month it falls on the same day as the normal cycle.

I think you have to bd like you would when ttc a couple of days before and on the day.

Anyone up for trying this? Or have any more info on it?

[grins]

lisa1976 · 31/07/2009 13:20

im up for it - i will try anything lol

sky not heard of the lunal natal calendars! Are they, erm, fun?

Welcome Kurgan and sorry for your loss. I've had 3 mc (two at 12wks and one at 5wks) so can understand your need to become pg again as soon as possible - let's hope it's going to be on this bus!

just having a nose who's on the May bus, haven't been kicked off April yet, another week to go, not too optiomistic though so may lurk for a while.

lisa1976, please include your baby girl, that would make you ttc#3. She was with you however short her time was.

Just hopping on the May bus as well as the April, AF but not too bothered as she was a week late and wondering what was going on, it's only my 2nd periods since having DD3 who is now 1 (BFing) so who knows, hope this is a lucky bus for all of us.

sky27 · 01/08/2009 20:06

sorry af got you sweetkitty

Started temping today and got my ovulation kits at the ready. I'm going to start Monday, twice a day! I may be bonkers (or bonking) by the end of the week.

Am I nuts already? bought some gem bracelets that are supposed to help balance hormones and promote fertility?!?

Good luck and lots of baby dust or everyone

sky27 · 01/08/2009 20:07

for everyone soz

sweetkitty · 01/08/2009 23:12

Don't worry about it sky, I'm actually happy in a weird way as I didn't think I oved last month then I had a very long cycle for me and thought what is going on so in a way it's ncie to see AF again and I can get out limbo land and start TTC again proper. I don't know what kept AF away though, BFing, chemical pregnancy, stress from grief, don't know.

SummerC · 02/08/2009 10:19

Hello ladies. I'm standing in the queue for the May bus as AF still hasn't arrived. UCL is 35 and today is CD35 with two BFNs. I'll be jumping on once she arrives.

Welcome SummerC sorry you are in the Q to join us.

Well I am pretty sure I am having a chemical pregnancy TMI alert but woke up in a pool of blood this morning, period is so heavy v unusual for me, AF was 8 days later also unusual. To make it sadder it's 2 years to the day I was mcing.

Anyway it's CD2 of a brand new cycle, May is a good month anyway, nice weather and anyway April has Easter hols and who would want a baby in the Easter hols May much better ?

Ladylou83 · 02/08/2009 11:00

Can I join SummerC in the que please?

Am still on the April bus, just hanging in there, but feel I will need to change at the next bus stop to the May bus.

Keep telling myself May baby better than April, too may birthdays in April already, not working though...

leonifay · 02/08/2009 13:01

morning all, just jumping on, af got me late last night. i agree, may is a good month to have a baby, and you dont have to be pregnant through much, if any, of the summer heat, and you still get to have a summer baby. i have good feelings about this month, were going to have lots of bfp's!

Morning all! Hope the sunshine is cheering everyone up

May is a good time to have a baby...think of lambs and all the other baby things born in spring...hopefully lucky!!!

lucylev · 02/08/2009 14:38

Hello all,

As i'm new to this and am only just starting to read up, Do any of you have any helpful tips or what things have you tried which may help me towards ttc

Thanks

ImmaterialGirl · 02/08/2009 15:16

Hi all,

Can I join? I'm new to both MN and TTC.
Been lurking for a while but thought I should come out of the woodwork. If I've got my abbreviations right I'm:

ImmaterialGirl TTC#1 Cycle 1 UCL?? CD8

Is that right? And I'll second lucylev's call for advice. I know I'm supposed to take Folic Acid, but anything else?
