MrsR - have u done a test? did i miss something? Just to throw the cat amongst the pigeons i have BFN's for both my dd's saved in their baby boxes. How nice... I'll have to explain i tested early...

Sooooo - i'm not symptom spotting remember? I've had no symptoms to spot unlike last month when i had what WickedWitchoftheWest was describing which resulted in a late AF.

Anyway, this evening..a few hours after dinner, i felt nauseous, the kind of nauseous where you have to eat something to stop yourself feeling nauseous and i went to the fridge and EVERYTHING smelt really strong and made me feel nauseous.

Not again - don't drive me insane mind! Ladylou smack my hand.

I'm queen symptom spotter! I so know I'm not pg this month coz I've had a glass of wine whilst being domestic goddess in the kitchen and I feel a bit pished. Now when I got pg with dd, several glasses of wine had no effect at all. That's actually what made me do a test! Gah.

nancypreg no haven't tested yet this month Am being strong and holding out - despite the ultra early 10mil tests I've got . Really dont feel pg at all.

Morning all,said to dh maybe i should test this morning and he said no wait! I'm just thinking that if iam lucky to get BFP im not going to know when my due date is, due to 37 day cycle last month,so my thinking is that if i do a test now and don't get BFP but do later then i know i have'nt conceived within a 28 day cycle,does that make sense? but if i do test and am not i'm going to feel stupid

Does kind of make sense but I think i'd wait a bit rather than getting a BFN and then worrying over it at the mo.

I wouldn't worry over dates as scans can gie you an idea of dates - my SIL thought she was 14 weeks but was told that she was only 11 at scan so I guess dates can be off even when we think we've worked them out

Thanks bluesnowfalcon I did say that i would'nt test til the 1st Sept so i know i'm defo late, so will try and stick to that and put it out of my mind I will be strong!

l am being really patient DH wants us to test at the weekend.l know l have never been preggers but l dare say l feel really preggers.

Thanks for letting me have my rant yesterday and being so understanding. My heart's telling me just go for it but it's my head that's in two minds as what to do. I think getting a BFP would give DH a new sense of purpose and it would be something really good that we could look forward to and yes hopefully by the time the baby came along our situation will be different.

I do know there is never a right time to have a baby and you just somehow get on with it. I fell pregnant with my DD (now 9 nearly 10yrs old) just after my 19th birthday. It wasn't what I had planned for my life but you somehow adapt.

WickedWitch my DS is 6 so unfortunately I haven't got one single baby item left, sods law that is but 4 of my closest friends have all had babies in the last year so there could be a possibility of some hand me downs!

There's no possibility of any help from DH's parents as we have nothing to do with them. MIL (especially) is an evil witch. Ruined our engagement, tried to ruin our wedding, crosses over the street to avoid me, you know, the usual evil MIL stuff!!

Fingers crossed for some BFP's soon. I know I'm on cycle day 25 but I have irregular periods although they do seem to follow some sort of pattern. I get a shorter cycle 4-5weeks and then a longer cycle 5-7weeks. Currently I am on the longer cycle and I think I ovulated at the weekend (remember DH said my cervix was high and soft and squidgy!!) so I guess I'm now on the 2WW???
