Morning all

Just catching up from 2 days - its taken me about 15 mins.

Mrs Rigby you are SUCH a good wife. I haven't done a full BJ for a good 2 years . I swear thats why dh has agreed to TTC #3. It means he has a good load of sex for a few months and i get horney when i'm pg. Hope it was nice and quick for you last night

Sorry to hear about the AF's people.

sayanything - you aren't spoiling the shagcat. We are hear to moan to as well as laugh. Who else can you moan to? I find it puts dh/dp off the whole thing if you moan to them. The joyful rollercoaster of TTC. It's so nice not to do this on our own.

People against facebook pg announcements - i got one on Friday from a mate. Buuuttt, how are you going to announce it when the time comes?? .

I'm officially well and truly on the manic/insane inducing 2ww now. AND already i'm experiencing phantom nausea which i had last month on my 2ww. Stupid stupid body!

Lizkin · 16/08/2009 13:33

Hello dear fellow TTCers,

I second Bettymama and others, it's so good to know other people are in the same boat.

I've just left the April bus, AF has come just as I was starting to think, could it, just maybe be this month? Well, it isn't, so have to hope for May...

So, may I hop on? Here are my stats:

Lizkin TTC#1, Cycle 5, UCL 28-32, CD1

Good luck to all those shagging this week, or waiting, or testing...

Ladylou83 · 16/08/2009 14:03

NancyPreg - I dont work for ATC (alhough I use to), but I do work for an airport, hence the strange hours I write on here, normally cant sleep once i've got home, so pop on here.

Anybody else just randomly bursting into tears lately? or just me loosing it?

Medee · 16/08/2009 14:07

the OPK says no.

sayanything · 16/08/2009 14:30

Thank you all so much, it does make a huge difference to have somewhere to moan, DP just doesn't get it - and he's buggered off abroad for 10 days.

I've just been for a run and it's helped. I normally hate exercise, but I've been doing the couch potato to 5K programme and running seems to do wonders for my moodswings. So no period and no TTC, but maybe I'll get rid of my cellulite.

Medee try again tomorrow and you may get a different result...

my dh isn't bothered about BJs at all he prefers the 'real' thing IYSWIM

Afternoon

sweetkitty and mampam don't worry, it was just to get him going and it didn't make a blind bit of difference to the end result - 17 minutes bettymamma (I swear DH is prolonging it to make me suffer). I agree with you sweetkitty and so do the experts, the female orgasm helps get the sperm to the egg - I have a feeling that's how DS was conceived. Hopefully the DIY has done the job again.

sayanything anything is possible, but no period is a good sign (unless you have PCOS) and I have my fingers crossed for you.

nancypreg a man who isn't bothered by BJ's .

I'm having lots of lower abdominal cramping today .

Anyone have any suggestions on if and when I should test? I was just going to leave doing so for 2 months .

sayanything · 16/08/2009 16:32

17 minutes? Oh my MrsRigby. My DP takes ages too, which is weird given that it takes me all of 2 minutes.

I think my period is finally here - your crossed fingers worked, thank you!!

NancyPreg · 16/08/2009 16:47

My dh always likes post-coital cuddles so our sessions can last anything up to 30 mins! It's quite good actually because it means that his wrigglers are discouraged from leaving too soon!

OP posts:
Beanmum · 16/08/2009 17:56

Blimey, what a lot of shagchat there's been since i last checked...

Well I'm just waiting for my PERIOD to finish so we can start SHAGGING asap...!

firerise and medee - i started opks a couple of cycles back, and found it a bit stressful - sort of like getting bfn on a pg test. So last month we went for the shag like rabbits strategy, whcih clearly didn't work (but I think we may have stopped too early as I had an extra long cycle so probably ov'd late). This month I'm trying charting temps for the first time - it's good so far, a bit like playing doctors and satisfies my retentive streak by allowing me to make a graph. I do love a good graph.

Sorry to those of you who've joined the back of the bus - onwards and upwards for next month. Surely due another graduate soon..,

sky27 · 16/08/2009 17:56

we've been shagging every other night until yesterday when we started every night (for the next three nights) due to +OPK.

First few nights about 15-20 mins getting longer each time and last night it was closer to 45 mins. DH is begging for mercy

I would too, but two more nights won't kill me, then we'll have a rest

Ladylou83 · 16/08/2009 18:07

DH is definatly at the too tired for shagging stage, had none now for 3 nights, but saying that I have been the worlds grumpiest cow these last few days. Will have to use my magical powers to intise him tonight...

NancyPreg · 16/08/2009 18:21

PMSL at 'I do love a good graph'

Quote of the week!

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 16/08/2009 18:56

Every night poor men, we have always done the every 2 days strategy, so the swimmers can build up again, two many erm sessions can dilute them down.

There must be a good few BFps soon, we have all got an A+ for effort.

Must go smelly nappy alert, just out from a bath clean nappy too, minx DD3.

Firerise · 16/08/2009 19:04

As this is our first month trying I am rather enjoying the novelty of our shagathon- haven't done it this much in several years of marriage! Though when speaking to DH about how it may feel at end of each month if we don't get the desired result he declared enthusiastically WHO CARES?WE GET TO SHAG LOTS!...Thanks for that love - just the answer I was looking for.

Think if it doesn't happen this month will get on ebay for some OPKs...though I do love a good graph too ;o) x

Ladylou83 · 16/08/2009 19:10

Am I really Sad for talking to DH penis, and ordering that only the best come out to play?

I think DH just likes the fact that Im the one wanting sex for a change, and that he doesnt have to pester me. Oh how the tables have turned. Oh and he doesnt have to worry about suiting up anymore. Men are so good with words arent they? Bless

WickedWitchSouthWest · 16/08/2009 20:24

oh i do love a bit of shag chat, espesh after an afternoon on the wine and champers (am convinced I'm not pg). Glad to see that my dh isn't the only one feeling a bit fatigued by the whole process! Poor boy, he's never had a massive libido so the every night stage was a real struggle! Every other night was fine tho, so mental note to self...

MrsRigby · 16/08/2009 20:30

Evening everyone.

sayanything tell me about it, I can make myself orgasim in less than 2 minutes.

DH and I are following the sex every other day rule, apparently this ensures the best quality sperm.

Not having sex tonight as 1.) DH is a little pissed off that I'm shaving my legs for the doctor tomorrow (it's not like I never shave for him, it's just that if I'd done it yesterday by tomorrow my legs would be looking like a monkey's) and 2.) because the doctor will undoubtedly do an internal.

Why am I going to the doctors tomorrow? Well, I've had a lump above my clitoris for about 4-6 weeks now. I had one before in exactely the same place and that dissapeared. It's smooth and doesn't hurt. I know I shouldn't, but I squeezed it in case it was a spot or an ingrowing hair, but nothing happened. So I'm thinking it's either a cyst connected to my PCOS or cancer.

Oh please, please, please let me be pregnant - I don't think I can take another month of this. And please don't let me die of cancer leaving my little boy without his mummy.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow. I'll let you all know the outcome.

WickedWitchSouthWest · 16/08/2009 20:36

eek MrsRigby....hope it's nothing scary...

tobago04 · 16/08/2009 20:38

yes good luck

sky27 · 16/08/2009 20:48

Good luck MrsR hope it's nothing serious

NancyPreg · 16/08/2009 21:14

MrsR the fact that the previous lump disappeared by itself is a good sign, I would think...good luck with the appt.

OP posts:
Ladylou83 · 16/08/2009 21:14

Good Luck MrsRigby , I had something like that before, so I know how scary it is when its the unknown. Fingers crossed for you its nothing sinister x
