Im got again......

Now on cycle 9

Fed up now, each month is such a disapoitment, feel like it is never going to happen, i went to see a blind psycic after my mc last year, he knew exactly what had happened, said you have lost a child that never walked this earth, dont worry it wont happen again, which was really comforting at the time, now im taking it as it wont happen again, as in, not going to get pregnant again! I know i shouldnt think like that but i cant help it.

Also found out im been made redundant, last day of work is 6th sept, not found another job or anything...

Pissed off!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 14/08/2009 20:08

oh sorry Zayja and ilove

I definitely think timing is everything, so that's why we've been madly at it all month! Just really really want it this month now and if my period does happen then at least it's not through lack of trying this month!

Oh, please can I have my details updated? Will add a UCL now

MrsRigby · 14/08/2009 21:39

Evening everyone.

DH has buggered off out for a meal and drinks with friends, so no sex tonight. Though considering sperm can survive for up to 5 days inside a womans uterus (DH and I last had sex on Wednesday) and an orgasim helping get the sperm to the egg, I might do a little DIY tonight - that's masturbation sweetkitty, beanmum and medee .

lasttraintonowhere DH and I only started to have sex again when DS was 8 months, not to mention in his own bedroom.

So sorry zayja, better luck next time, my fingers are crossed for you.

ilove2shop I have no words for you, that's a bad hand you've been dealt. Don't give in, it will happen. It took me 2 - 2 1/2 years to conceive DS and although I've not been made redundant, I've been told that I won't be able to return to my old job when I go back to work in November and I am not looking forward to that. I just don't want to go back. I want to be at home looking after my son . I hope things improve for you.

Welcome firerise you've come to the right place.

Incidentally, I cut off half my hair earlier (head not pubic, I shaved that off with DH shaver last week), DH was not amused in the least. I have my hair up and DH say's I look like a sumo westler. I don't care, I never wear it down anymore on account of DS pulling it and I'll be buggered if I'm going to pay someone £25.00 + tips for some unwanted smalltalk and a bad haircut. So I did it myself. I don't care, it's hair, it'll grow back.

Hair today, gone tomorrow (I can hear you all moaning, yeh, that was quite bad).

sweetkitty · 14/08/2009 22:17

Just lingering on here before I drag DP off upstairs, I don't know why he wants another baby, I feel sick for 3 months then have SPD and moan like hell for the next 6, then BF and cosleep for a year, we have just kicked DD3 out our bed the past month and hopefully will have another person in it next year. He totally goes off sex as well when I'm pregnant or maybe he doesn't as he says he looks at me shuffling or struggling to get up and thinks theres no chance, plus when we do try to do it, it's a nightmare with the bump and SPD not worth the hassle.

MrsRigby - you are funny agree about the hair I always have mine tied back too, I got loads of it cut off after DD3 was born as it all fell out and looked like crap but don't like it and am growing it now.

Firerise - hello and welcome, word of warning MN is very addictive, I came here when first pregnant and haven't left since, there must have been times my internet was down as I have 2 other children!

ilovetoshop/zayja - sorry it CD1 again, but onwards and upwards so to speak

Agree with quality over quantity, first 2 DDs were one shag that cycle, I remember them well lol due to me going away for work and DP leaving to start a new job not that we only have sex once a month.

Right best of luck to you all xxx

tobago04 · 14/08/2009 22:31

So sorry ilovetoshop really feel for you,and zayja
You do make me lol MrsRigby
Hello Firerise i agree with sweetkitty MN is addictive!
Well nothing to report really,so i'll see you in the morning

ImmaterialGirl · 14/08/2009 23:22

Zayja and Ilovetoshop so sorry

Kaylo I remember AF got you two days ago, but for you I'm happy as you can finally ttc! Moved you if that's ok? Hope you still want to be on the bus!

zayja and ilove2shop so sorry for you both. don't get depressed, it will happen for you both. Chin up!

mrsrigby STOP! I am laughing like a loony here. Glad to have you on the bus

Ladylou83 · 15/08/2009 00:32

Ahhh the joys of nightshifts for me: no bloody sex tonight. Only 3 hours till my last flight lands, then off home to see if I can get DH 'up' & awake. Its got to be worth a try.

MrsRigby, you crack me up! I haven't laughed so much recently, well worth sneaking onto my office computer to see what funny stuff has been put on here.

SnowBunny1 · 15/08/2009 08:04

Morning All

Just popped in for a quickie to let you know that I'm taking a seat at the back of the bus

Never mind, it all starts again although I think I'll be a bit less obsessive this time.

Could someone update me please as I don't know how

Welcome to all newcomers, enjoy the ride

mampam · 15/08/2009 09:19

snowbunny sorry you're having to go to the back of the bus.

Can't believe we've only had one graduate on this bus so far, but early days yet I guess. Fingers crossed for lots of BFP's.

I'm going on a hen night next Saturday. Lots of alcohol to be consumed so I'm hoping this will bring on a BFP (IYSWIM?). Quite a few of my friends have said that just before they found out they were pregnant they have gone on nights out and have got thoroughly drunk and have been really ill (more than normal) and it has turned out it was because they were up the duff!

I totally get the whole 'people announcing on Facebook they are up the duff' thing. It's bloody annoying when they announce it and I find it even worse when every bloody time I log on, there are lots of pictures posted of their beautiful babies or scan pictures. Is it just me or do these pregnant facebookers tell us every single detail of their pregnancies from being sick to swollen ankles!? (Ok,ok I know I'm just jealous and I'll be doing exactly the same thing when the time comes!!!!!)

Ladylou83 · 15/08/2009 13:21

Grrrrr to Facebook when not preggers, but yep, I will no doubt end up posting on there about my bump if I got one.

Medee · 15/08/2009 13:30

I'm very hungover - this has to be my absolute last time on the drink.

Ladylou83 · 15/08/2009 13:40

I say that everytime , although DH says if not got BFP after 6months, then drink is off my menu. Got a wedding reception to go to tonight, so I no doubt will be posting my hangover tale in the morning

sky27 · 15/08/2009 14:07

Much more positive today, had much darker opks last night and this morning, so fingers crossed they'll go positive today!

I can't beleive how many people we have on the bus. We'll be sitting on each others knees soon.

Goodluck everyone!

Medee · 15/08/2009 14:23

good news, sky

ImmaterialGirl · 15/08/2009 15:02

sky that's great news! Fingers crossed for you today.

sweetkitty · 15/08/2009 15:16

Had a positive on the OPKs this morning, CD15 like it always was. Had sex last night so fingers but not legs crossed

snowbunny - sorry about joining the back of the bus, there's fluffy cushions, loads of trashy mags and limitless wine and chocolate up there

Think I will update the list for today

Whilst having a quick bonk this afternoon I asked DH to see what my cervix felt like today (he'd already commented that it was soft and squidgy a couple of nights ago) and he said he couldn't even feel/reach it. Have Googled this (I know, I know!) and it is a sure sign of ovulation. Have done a test with OPK which was negative [hmmm]. Any thoughts on this?

Firerise · 15/08/2009 17:42

Afternoon all, as a newbie wanted to get your thoughts: pros and cons for getting OPK or just getting busy at it and hope for the best?

x

NancyPreg · 15/08/2009 19:52

damn for you zayja Snowbunny and ilove, hopefully the next cycle will be the one for both of you...

Ladylou are you an ATC?

mampam that is my understanding too (about the cervix) but your OPK may be -ve because your surge has ended...meaning your cervix will lengthen again in the next week or so, although during pg, it rises really high again! (effacement)

Firerise I've found the OPKs act as a real window into my monthly cycle, eg. I don't ovulate on CD14 (as per the text books) but instead anywhere between CD15 and CD19 and I wouldn't necessarily have known this without the OPKs. I buy the eBay cheapies so it's not too expensive really!
