Big waves & apologies to any of you I missed! Wedding was fab, got quite drunk merry & me & Dh ended up on bouncy castle with 8yr old niece at about 11pm! Really lovely being with whole family & meeting loads more.. Still recovering now! Discovered a fab idea for us all, Dh cousin (the bride) handed out these paperlanterns that we all lit & let off into the night sky, really magical.. a very fitting tribute for lost angels, or any lost ones, really beautiful & thought of you all instantly! See: GREAT LINK! I shall be using a few of them in sept, as apart from anniversary of 1st loss & 2edds it should also be my wonderful daddys birthday... So tired still today - just cant get into work but better try!!! Shall still be floating around - Happy Tuesday everyone! xxxxxx

hiya 4ever, good to see you, was thinking about you today and wondering how you are getting on. The wedding sounded lovely and a lot of fun, and those chinese lanterns are beautifully peaceful, a very fitting tribute indeed

Spoke to Portland earlier as 2wks from test, sadly my levels are still low so will need another dose of treatment.. this can be done up to 6wks pg so suggested I wait for BFP then have it, am a bit confused now so hopefully can speak to consultant to clarify it cos a bit jumbled... Will all be a bit mental cos dh has to have bloods screened again before treatment & last time done at nhs docs, but as has to be rushed through before 6wk pg will prob have to pay through the nose & get done there... Hey ho... Trying to be matter of fact & calm. Did say to dh that if I did get BFP in last 3months & treatment hadnt worked then could of lost 5th one so maybe is all meant to be..?

4ever Glad the wedding went well. Waiting until your BFP sounds sensible and the cost will be worth it. The lanterns are lovely. My EDD of lost lo is Sept 27th so we can hold each other's hands. My DD's birthday is that day so should be a great distraction.

Blue Thanks for the hand. I'll definitely need it next week as I have booked a scan for 9.15 next Tuesday when I'll be 8 weeks -eek! The lady at the EPU and I agreed to disagree on my dates as she reckons I'm nearly 8 weeks now but I know I ovulated on CD 21. As long as all ok, I don't care!

Iggy Hope you add a pic of new shoes to your profile. Make them unsuitable for a pg lady and they should help along your BFP

i'm a bit at the moment. think my body is playing tricks on me. if i didnt know better id think i was pg, it must just be af on its way. we havent strictly started ttc again yet, but we did have that naughty bd in the shower, and that wasnt anywhere near ov time. had cramps since sunday, spot outbreak, funny taste in mouth and this morning i felt horribly sick for 10 mins, i must be imagining it all right?!

Great news on the scan Buddha and glad you've got a scan lined up MrsKate 4Ever - have been thinking of you and hoping your levels were OK .. I remember you saying before the treatment that it was OK to receive it up to 6 weeks pg, so hopefully that is the way to go, and relieves the pressure of the "deadline", meaning you are more relaxed and end up pg really quickly

Vjay - exciting times ahead

Mermaid - lovely to see you I understand the trauma of kitchen building - we had ours done a few years ago and ended up camping out upstairs, with the microwave in the spare bedroom - and don't get me started on dust !!

I'm seriously limiting my online time these days, so just time for a quick hello to

I'm getting back in control - back pain has subsided so I've been able to tidy up my filthy house, get back to exercise in the form of swimming, restart the diet and generally start sorting myself out.

I keep forgetting to take my folic acid, have been eating loads of runny cheese and drunk more in the last 3 weeks than I have in the last 3 months - feel like I have rediscovered myself and will work hard not to lose that again.

Am resolutely not symptom spotting this cycle and will not encourage my inner symptom spotter by even talking about it further (protection mechanism)

Hey Jools lovely to see you my darlin! Sounds like we are in the same page exactly! Refuse to symptom spot, daycount or manically bd (for now at least). Que sara and all that good stuff! Feel alot more relaxed for it & sounds like you are too, really pleased to hear that hon.. As you are such a gym bunny prob brought you down not being able to exercise too so glad swimming is back on & your achey back is easing! Glug away on that rose & enjoy some quailty 'Jools' time!

Neeko glad you have that scan hon, time does seem rather slow for you at the mo! A trip to your parents & back to work will mean tues will be here before you know it.. I didnt realise your edd was on 27th sept, we shall def hold hands those 2 days, one of my best mates is also due on 26th, but found it hard to be around her as my last mc in jan was due on sept 8th, so 2wks between me & her & see her & think what could of been. We had 3 wks of planning coffee mornings & outings with our babys but it wasnt to be..

Anyway today am gonna throw myself into work, hope everyone else is ok? Im in a bit of a void re the treatment news, but at least no timeframe. Lost of paranoid worries that im trying to push to back of mind. Have rediscovered philosophy of 'not worrying about things I cant change cos wont make any difference & will just stress me out'. When my bro passed away from cancer & was ill, I figured you can either curl up in a corner & cry forever, or you can carry on living life to the full, curling up in a corner wouldnt bring him back so the other option was best... Thats my thought for the day ala Jerry Springer! Love & hugs to you all xxxxxxxxxxxx

blue the BH's are getting stronger, and last night I was on all fours with cramps, so I had a bath and hey presto...it all stopped . I just think my body is getting ready, and I'm getting impatient. I'm now on the 2WW going off my 11 weeks scan, or 3 day wait going off my 22 weeks scan!

4ever it is good that you can have the treatment up to being 6weeks pg, it really does take the pressure off.

vjay so close now, I cant believe it! How are you feeling? I'm so excited about our first emmsys angel! Hope all goes well with the midwife on Thursday.

mermaid Hows the kitchen progressing? My bathroom and kitchen tiling should hopefully be finished soon. It was meant to be done in 2 days, and this is the 4th day that theyve come over now over a space of three weeks or something. Cant wait to clean up properly once theyve finally gone!

barbie like I emailed you, my scan at 20 weeks showed that I have a low lying placenta but they didnt tell me to stop having sex etc. They just said that hopefully it will move in time. Ive been very lucky in that it hasnt caused me to bleed like you, which must be so worrying. I keep on telling DH we cant have sex either cause it gives my cramp in my bump, but sometimes we just give in Especially as it was my 5th wedding anniversary on Friday and we wanted to celebrate

It was my 5th wedding anniversary on friday and DH said he had a weekend of surprises planned for me for the weekend - the surprise being a baby shower that my friends and family had secretly organised for me! It was held at my mums in the garden on saturday, luckily the weather was nice. Got lots of pressies, but mainly for myself which was really nice, including lots of mum-to-be sanctuary goodies. I also had a sash to wear which said "mum to be" and some gorjus cake! Those who are on FB, will be posting photos on there at some point. Sunday was spent with DH in greenwich, walking around and having a picnic. We found this really cool shop called "beauty and the bibs" and found a bib which said "bubba" on it. Was so excited as thats what we call the lo all the time!

Yesterday was my last day at work. Had a leaving lunch in pizza express and again got lots more pressies, including john lewis vouchers, flowers and yet more pampering stuff.

The only downer is that my grandad's cancer is back - he has multiple myeloma and it was in partial remission. Last time round, which was 2 years ago, he responded really well to the chemo. He has to start it again next month. He lives 4 hours away so its difficult for me to go and see him, but hopefully after bubba is born we can make a trip up north to see him and my nan.

Also got the outcome of my grievance and every single point i raised, they didnt uphold. I was so mad . The timing also wasnt great as I received the letter on my second to last day at work. I now have to decide whether to appeal or not. On one hand, I just want to forget about it and concentrate on more important things, like bubba. On the other hand, I feel like shes just gotten away with it, and there is no mention of the fact that I was signed off work sick for stress for 2 weeks whilst pregnant and the possible effects all the drama i went through could have affected the baby.

Oh and both my ears are blocked! Cant hear properly. Put olive oil in them last night. Need to do that again and stuff cotton wool after, but need to be able hear the builder every time he comes with a question starting with "mrs"...lol

Its taken my an hour i think to write this, will stop babbling now!

my scan is on friday im getiing nervous already i was really scared as i am back to work friday but my matron is the best ever and said to come and find her after scan and not to worry . thank you gracie for all you help xxxxx

4ever thank you my dh is so much better he has a month left a work so hes loving it . he got a few other things lines up working at B&Q was one lol
