Hi lovelies, all I can say today is that I'm too hot!!!

OP posts:
MrsKate · 30/06/2009 20:18

vjay i know i feel sorry for you with u big bump xxxx

bluesatinsash · 30/06/2009 21:25

Hey ladies, I'm fantasising about ice cold baths and massive fans... Vjay - this must be torture for you!

MLS - really hope it all starts to speed up soon, the limbo land time is just the worst .

hoping - what a scary few years you've had and rubbish news about your job. I did at your tantrum in front of staff suggestion.

Neeko - well done your DD and her camel like bladder . DS was the same last year, just decided he didnt want to wear his nappy one day and that was it - 20 pairs of Pingu pants duly bought and 'pot pot' phase began. He loved it when I put stickers on his potty for every pee.

Jools - lol at law of pregnativity! Hope your enjoying the pub quiz and post-pub benefits later . Hope your back holds up!

cupcake - your posts always have a wee twinkle in their eye - I can so picture you in your necklaces .

4ever - honey, hope your chilling in the garden topping up you solar tan

I had a v. productive day today: inflated paddling pool (with pump not lungs!)/weeded garden/pruned and smelled all my roses/took out grass growing from between slabs/planted seeds with DS/two loads of washing out and back in (don't you feel smug when the pants you wore yesterday are back in your drawer . I'm aching now but have been paranoid about getting stuck into garden and even wore gloves today in case of any germs around.

Neeko - I'm off to watch last hour of Grey's - my viewing has been interupted by Wimbledom - go Andy - a local boy you know - from Dunblane, just 2o mins from here.

anniebigpants · 30/06/2009 22:00

MummyLovesSadie · 01/07/2009 10:06

Oh god so much pain. I'm in agony, doubled up. It was nothing like this last time. Dh coming home. I hope this means it's over soon.

Joolsiam · 01/07/2009 10:16

MLS - I was like that with the 11+5 mc - doubled up with waves of pain (contractions ? ) that eased every time I passed a large clot, then the final peak of pain, understanding what the urge to push meant and as soon as I'd passed that last bit, all the pain vanished.

Hopefully the end is near and your DP will get home quickly - have you got painkillers ? I survived on a cocktail of ibuprofen and paracetamol.

thinking of you x x x

4everhopeful · 01/07/2009 10:24

Oh s* MLS you poor honey.. Have you got co-dydromol? Nothing else usually touches it but they do zonk you.. I hope it passes quickly.. Keep us posted, glad DH is on his way.. With my 1st natural mmc I ended up getting an ambulance to hospital & put on morphine, contractions were every oth min but was trapped in my cervix which is why it was so bad, so they had to remove it with smear type contraption & forceps. I sincerely hope it doesnt come to that for you, but dont be a martyr, if you need help, get it hon... xxxx

Feel guilty to moan now, not posting didnt last long. Just preg ex manager with my edd is practically ignoring me totally now. Used to be a good friend, round my house & everything, now its like she cant bare to look at me, but not in a pitying dont know what to say way, more like mermaid said & almost disdain & distaste that she may 'catch' it from me. She has that smug air.. What a cow..

hopingalways · 01/07/2009 10:25
mermaidspurse · 01/07/2009 10:59

mls oh honey hopefully your knight in shining armour is home. There are never the words for these moments but you know we are all thinking of you all.xxxxxx

jools yeahey mission july it is then that is ace. Also congrats on quiz night - did you know what the maiden name of Buzz aldrins mum was? Moon what a nice coincidence, fab quiz question that one

4ever It is a weird thing this 'catching mc' air - I wonder if people are so scared for themselves maybe? I cant really believe that women cannot be emphatic with other women.

will pop back later also to say good luck vibes out to mollie barbie and annie soon too.

curly hope you are feeling a bit better and not so sick in this heat.x

morning hoping hope everything feels a bit better todayx

mls everything crossed that today is over as soon as possible for you.xxx

bluesatinsash · 01/07/2009 11:32

oh MLS - its horrible this bit just horrible . All of us who have had to cope with natural mc know exactly what your going through, the painful contractions and clots that never end. It will be over soon and you can start to heal once more.

4ever - so so at your colleague, as mermaid says - has she no empathy or basic human kindness . The bad karma backlash will bite her on the arse one day, you'll see.

Jools - yay! for you last night.

Sitting at desk with fan blasting today, lovely and cool but have massive 80's hair with all the blowing about .

Joolsiam · 01/07/2009 11:36

A friend of mine who has 3 lovely girls between 1 and 5 yrs old asked me about mc's, so I told her quite a bit, including telling her about the most recent one she didn't know about.

She IS supportive but just doesn't understand - suggested that maybe I've left things too late and also suggested I give my body a rest after having 3 mc's of varying severity in ten months - neither were things I wanted to here !

Tis very true that unless you have been through mc, you just don't understand, don't know what to say ....

Joolsiam · 01/07/2009 11:38

hear, not here

gaaaaaaahhhh I am on the most interminable, boring conference call ever in the history of boring conference calls, listening to contributors who's first language isn't English and struggling to understand what they are trying to say !!

mermaidspurse · 01/07/2009 12:07

so we have blue looking like Carol Decker and jools listening to gobbledegook and mning classic.

VJaybigpants · 01/07/2009 12:36

mls hope you are ok and dh is with you now.

jools you are so right, people who haven't had mc's just don't get it at all, what your friend said is rubbish, it's not too late and I didn't give my body much rest in between. One friend said to me after my second, wouldn't it be better if I gave up???wtf???

mermaid here's a look for you, I straightened my hair this morning, as usual, but now with all the lovely sweat it's gone really wavy, and not in a nice way!

Saw ds's headmaster today and there is money in the pot for him to have extra support next school year yey

OP posts:
cupcakefairy · 01/07/2009 13:30

Yay Vjay that's so cool and hopefully makes the whole benefits-nightmare a little better...

MLS as mermaid said, there are no words just know we are all here holding your hand! Really feel for you is there someone who can look after your dd?

4ever I second what everyone's said- grrr! I remember not really knowing what to say to a friend who had miscarried before I went through it though - I think it is just so alien to people who haven't been through it. One thing I am glad of having miscarried is that I know I will be able to support any of my friends/sisters/daughters who might go through it too in my lifetime. (I hope they don't, obviously, but you know what I mean.)

Joolsiam · 01/07/2009 14:30

Good news vjay

Just to update your mental image Mermaid - since my back, although not right, is not as painful today, I decided to go to a spinning class at lunchtime as I was desperate for some of those exercise endorphins !

Imagine a 5 foot 3 inch beetroot, add in a vision of somebody who has had a shower with her tracksuit bottoms on and picture them staggering down the road, swigging from a water bottle like it is nectar from the gods and being afforded a VERY wide berth when she stumbles through M&S on the hunt for lunch !!

barbie1 · 01/07/2009 14:38

mls im worried about you, can you do a quick post to let us know you are ok...big hugs xxx

anyone heard from curly v quiet from her lately....

Ok if some one gives me there mobile i will text them after my scan tomorrow and allow you to update here as it will be ages til i can get to the computer again...dont all fight over such a brilliant offer

Im shitting myself about tomorrow only because i really dont think it will bad news as im feeling v pregnant and having v bad morning sickness...silly really as i never thought i would let myself get carried away but it seems this time i have dont know what to do in the event of bad news...

Ok disclaimer if you are eating do not read the next part....

I think i have ibs, it started about 3 months ago and after speaking to the doctor i have all the symptoms but she wont do further test due to the pregnancy. The thing is everytime i eat i need the bathroom with in minutes and then when i feel really sick (normally one eposide an hour) i am gagging like mad over the toilet, but all that come up is water due to having nothiing in my tummy. Im constantly eating due to feeling hungry but nothing seems to stay long (if you get my drift) anyone else had this?? what can i do?? I sit crying over the toilet due the the horrible feeling of gagging, my poor tummy muscles from all the tensing!..
Im starting to dread the festival now, as i cant be more than 5 mins from a bathroom i cant believe that i wanted morning sickness

Ok have to run another bout of it now....ill be back!!!

barbie1 · 01/07/2009 14:40

jools you made me snort with laughter!!!

barbie1 · 01/07/2009 14:42

oh i would kill for a marks and spenser chicken and stuffing sandwich right now....barbie starts drooling but worries it might be the watery sick so runs off again!!!

Joolsiam · 01/07/2009 15:07

Barbie - have sent you my number thru Facebook

I used to have IBS as bad as you describe - a lot was brought on by stress I think.

One of my triggers used to be garlic, so I could only eat food containing garlic if I knew I'd be near a loo for an hour afterwards. I ate small meals and tried to keep them quite bland. Bio yoghurt helped, as did peppermint tea - both seem to settle the stomach.

MLS - I am worried too Hoping you are OK and being waited on hand and foot by DH

barbie1 · 01/07/2009 15:11

anyone got mls number?? can we call her?? im worried if her dh isnt back and she needs some help or something
