Thank you ladies, as soon as I came back I came to bed with my laptop. DH has now gone out to get me a tuna melt, think I'm going to have a vodka with it .

The baby died three weeks ago. I have to go in next Friday (was my booking-in day & is also day before my birthday) to have a scan & decide what to do if I've not mc naturally by then. I'm praying it'll happen before then, can't stand the thought of having my dead baby inside me at my not-so-secret-secret party. What if I miscarry in front of everyone whilst they shout "Surprise"?

oh MLS - first time I've logged on today and heart in boots when I saw all the emotions. Its just the pits, I'm so sorry for you my lovely. Really hope it comes away soon so you can 'recover' for your birthday. It brings it all back I can tell you and how we are all only a second away from disaster . I had to carry my dead bean over xmas and it was the hardest thing I've ever done but also faintly ridiculous as I had my hospital bag packed with post-mc big pants/heroin strength pain killers and my i-pod.

I could cry for us all and what weve had to go through and remain functioning to the outside world . Give us a break god will you??!!

Mollie - my heart is with you too and really hope its nothing. Are you feeling any movement? What about buying a doppler?

To finish on a happier note, lovely news curly - our silver lining for today .

Just back from dh birthday brunch, i was checking on curly but the saw the sad news of mls im so so so sorry hunny. Im crying for you...so much so that i cant type anymore. im sending you lots of love...ill speak soon

Just woken up - thought I'd check in but it seems like everyone has been very quiet this afternoon My back went "ping" again this morning and I lasted in work till 3 - ish, but gave in to the discomfort and came home to lie on the floor - woke up 2 hours later !

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I think I'm still in a state of denial. Dreading bedtime, sleep & that horrible crashing heart-sinking moment when I wake up & realise what has happened.

MLS I am so heartbroken for you. I got the news by text on our way out of the hospital and it broke my heart to think of you going through this pain again. It is just so unfair. Whatever we can do, and I know it isn't much, I promise that we'll be here for you over the coming weeks and months xxx

Thanks for all the support today girls, I don't know what I would do without you all. I'm so relieved about the bean, especially as they couldn't find it on the external, and we did think the worst. I'm just so sad for MLS though

Hi curly i am ok thanks, think i just overdid things yesterday, and after the best nights sleep i had in ages (work is good for some things!) i felt fine this morning. will keep an eye on things but have no abnormal discharge or fever so i think i should be ok. thanks for your concern though.
