Also thank you all for yesterday and .. Im feeling much more upbeat & got things in perspective, just after I got Gracies great news by tx, we heard a good colleague had it confirmed she has breast cancer & needs a mastectomy Its so sad & having been touched by cancer in my family several times it reminded me of where my true fighting spirit is, so I picked myself up & dusted myself down... xxx

Praying hard for all the Emmsys beans to be strong healthy and very sticky, albeit a weeny bit naughty to their poor stressed mummies! xxxxxxx

My pregnancy brain has stalled!!

Anyway we went to the hospital last night for a visit to see where we had to go. We went into the labour suite first and heard someone in labour, I then started to feel quite light headed! Then we went down to the ward and heard a new born cry and I felt so much better, it was lovely to hear and know what we are all going to get soon enough

Hopefully MLS is being scanned now & seeing that momentous flickering on screen (we need a crossed finger emoticon)

Barbie thanks for understanding so aptly when you are stressing yourself, it is the whole waiting game & not knowing when, or if?!?... I wish I could fly out & join you by the pool too! I agree with the girls here, have the scan next week & although all WILL BE FINE, you can follow anything up back in UK? I was thinking about you recently & gonna suggest if you want a TV scan at an EPU when you are back, I wondered where you fly in too, cos I could arrange an actual apt at my EPU for you in south london if you like?!?!? Just let me know ok?
Morning Mrsmermaid! Dont be worrying about not being here for me(!), we all have our lives to lead you lovely sweet lady! Had a meltdown but coming out the other side now.. The only way is up & all that stuff! BTW understand that thing about pg people not looking 'us' in the eye, my close friend & ex manager are like that & also assume a level of smugness which makes me want to spit in their eyes! However the girl I sit next to 35hrs week due in a few weeks is so sweet & vey sensitive on most levels, even whispering baby stuff to other colleagues & can see her looking uncomfortable if she thinks I look sad about it (like yesterday), so as much as MLS advise was tempting, I wouldnt tell her to f shut up! She's been quite a therapy actually, confront your fear head on an all that! So my dear mermaid* hope bd going well? I ordered zestica too yesterday & more opks, not as great as pre seed then? Oh huff, never mind we'll have fun trying it I spose! (any tips?)
Iggy have as great time in italy hon! DH & I had a romantic trip to Venice for valentines/his 30th which was fabulous, I was pg with no 2 at the time.. Would love to go back & sample the fine wines, cheeses and strong coffees I avoided back then!

Also I remember having wierd pains for a while after the MC - I was worried about them, but they did go, I think it was everything kind of moving back to where it was before... Go to Dr if you worried tho and remember we are always here to listen xx

Stories from my bizarre world of work... in a meeting yesterday my boss put her hand over my mouth to stop me speaking!!!!!!!!! That is odd isn't it?! the other people that were there were so shocked - she didn't even know what I was going to say (something harmless) but decided I was going to say something totally stupid that I never would have said... I am not good with people in my personal space at the best of times!

My best therapy is at swimming lessons with all the young mums, bumps and new babies, its much, much easier when noone knows.

mermaid that's what everyone else said - I think if I hadn't been so shocked I might have slapped her! She said the thought I was going to say somethings about svaing staff costs... but if she'd let me speak should would have heard me say that we would save time meaning that we could be more productive in other ways.. kind of hard to give you lot the full picture without me doing an impression of it all! Everytime I tried to speak she shouted over me 'shush' I've no idea when she last had a holiday - maybe you are right!
