Here we go a shiny new thread.....

OP posts:
Curlywurlee · 18/06/2009 16:10

that's great about your Mum 4ever I know it's pointless saying it but try not to worry. As for your twinges, I was very aware of pregnancy symptoms last month around the time of implantation but then they disappeared until after I did the test. I kind of assumed that it didn't implant. And well it did. I think it is normal to have twinges around this time and I'm sure it's nothing to do with your antibodies. Anyway you have blasted those suckers away for the next 12 months

Soooo what day is testing day? Or did you already say?

Sorry mermaid, I will get straight back to the books

Curlywurlee · 18/06/2009 16:14

Sorry iggy xposted with you. Lunch is still down but I'm afraid to move

I think leave mm where she is as she might not be ready for the big pants till after her next scan

When are off on your hols?

4everhopeful · 18/06/2009 16:15

I would never ever ever throw something at the very lovely mermaid xx

No, just accepting today I am being a mental stresshead & as I said, I think a good sleep (ideally til sunday!) should do the trick!
Oh well, I made up for everyone else not posting today didnt I?!?

4everhopeful · 18/06/2009 16:25

Oh x post - Iggy and Curly thank you again! Glad its not just me Iggy, wierd isnt it, how the roles end up reversing... I had private treatment for this thing called Lymphocyte immunotherpy treatment which will hopefully stop my antibodies attacking the fetus. Its not guaranteed thats the cause of my mc but its the only thing ever found, as Curly says I have 12 months of protection now hopefully. If no BFP by next month may have to do it again so weeny bit pressured!
*Curly - thank you so much for more reassurance! Just knowing your news is hope & reassurance, Im so glad you have bad MS cos thats sounding like a v healthy bean! I know twinges are normal but as you can tell, today my head is in overdrive! I'll be going home soon, a glassd of wine beckons i think, I need to fuzzy out the edges!

4everhopeful · 18/06/2009 16:29

Oh yea, planning on testing on sun, wow im on CD21 already?! I did buy a 6 day early one but dont wanna mess with my head even more so will sit tight for a couple more days!

Right, I shall say my goodbyes, and my thank you's until tomorrow morning! xxxxx I have a half day cos hubby has hand clinic at 12pm & may finally lose the purple cast!

Curlywurlee · 18/06/2009 17:04

Ooh, i fell asleep and missed 4ever Talk to you tomorrow and I'm very excited for Sunday

Just wondering how barbie is doing today? Has the bleeding stopped honey? Are you going back to the doctors? Anyway just wanted to let you know I am thinking about you xxx

You too moon, hope you are doing okay honey. Hope you and dp are doing something nice at the weekend to try and take your mind off things for a while.

iggypiggy · 18/06/2009 17:14

curly I was just thinking about barbie too. x

GracieGirl · 18/06/2009 17:31

Hello!

Sorry 4ever I nipped out for a walk as my pains came back. I'm not sure of our policy as I only start the treatment and send people to the clinic or admit them from A&E, I don't get to find out what happens long term. Well done for nagging your mum to go to the doctors though, you can't be too careful. Its good that her doctor is sending her for a scan just to make sure.
Yes I recommend sleeping till sunday! Then getting a BFP, then sleeping for 12 weeks or maybe 9 months.

Curly enjoy your nap I can recommend it!

Waves to mermaid!

GracieGirl · 18/06/2009 17:33

oops x posted with everything on page 15 as i forgot to look at it!

GracieGirl · 18/06/2009 17:41

Iggy I think Moon and Hoping aren't on your list.

4ever stay away from the super early pregnancy test, they just worry you more, Sunday seems a good plan.

barbie Hope you are spending lots of time chilling out and not think of going back to work too soon.

MrsKate · 18/06/2009 20:10

mermaidspurse · 19/06/2009 08:35

ohhh on Summer Solstice that's a good sign

Joolsiam · 19/06/2009 08:39

Hi 4Ever - glad you're feeling better today

I spent yesterday afternoon wondering where my PMT had got to, only to be hit by a ten ton truck last night I couldn't stop crying all evening, went to bed at 9.30 and have been crying most of the morning.

Am trying hard to keep busy and not wallow - Got hooted at by a snotty pinstriped fat guy in a posh car because I didn't move away from the lights quick enough, so sobbed my heart out Am also having probs with the cats peeing everywhere - absolutely screamed at one of them this morning and am now sobbing again because I feel guilty at shouting

This should all go when the bleeding starts, so I now can't wait for AF and will be counting the hours till I feel normal again

GracieGirl · 19/06/2009 08:47

Morning girls!

Mermaid yes I did do a bit better last night, I got pain at midnight and 2am but then managed to sleep till 8:30am, which is pretty good for me. I've got a few jobs to do this morning but then hopefully a restful afternoon with a quick snooze!

MrsKate I have everything crossed for you for your 2 week wait.

4ever morning, I hope you are managing to keep yourself busy until sunday.

Barbie thinking of you. Only 2 weeks now till you fly home to the UK I think.

GracieGirl · 19/06/2009 08:49

Morning Jools, sorry you're having an emotional time. Do you want us to find the snotty guys car and let his tyres down? I'm sure Mermaid would help me!

Joolsiam · 19/06/2009 09:07

Hehe - break out the Barbiemobile

GracieGirl · 19/06/2009 09:09

Ok we're on our way Jools!

mermaidspurse · 19/06/2009 09:53

jools stoopid snotty pinstriped man. It just takes that little thing to tip that awful pmt feeling over the edge.
gracie that you think I would do such a thing as let a snotty mans tires down but I might blast him with ds water pistol

gracie I guess thats a bit better with the pain then.

MrsKate · 19/06/2009 10:06

morning girls

thanks for the crossed fingers xxxxx

4everhopeful · 19/06/2009 10:29

Ive got my hair flicked & ready, with a water pistol and a hug in my hands for you Jools! Sorry you are feeling crappy...
Ive also got crossed fingers for you Mrskate you're 2 days ahead of me & im testing sunday so when are you going for it?
Gracie v glad you managed a better sleep last night! Thanks for info yesterday as well hon..!
Mermaid lovely lady - yes summer solstice so hopefully the gods & spirits will be watching over and throwing babydust at me! I will try & post on sun, depending when I get the guts to do the test! Often will do at night so can switch off straight away after either result! Thats one of my funny coping mechanisms!

Im off today at 12pm to pick up DH from hospital, hopefully minus his cast!

Joolsiam · 19/06/2009 10:34

I'm laughing at the hair flicking now !!

The guy probably thought I was a bit odd - hair all over the place and had just thrown on some tracksuit bottoms and a skanky t shirt to drive DP to work.

Am trying to work at home today but not getting very far - am tempted to just give up and go to bed Still sooooo tired and feeling nauseous - can you get nausea with PMT or am I coming down with something ??

Brown spotting has started, so she's on her way. I've already turned down a half price Champneys spa break on July 4th / 5th because it will be during the next ov weekend - this month will be the one (pleeeeeessssseeeee)

barbie1 · 19/06/2009 12:38

Hello girls, sorry i stayed away, needed a bit of me time.....

Thanks for al still being concerned about me, i have no idea what is going on (i wasnt going to talk about it but i feel im ready)

As you know i had v bad bleeding and back pain, all my symptoms went and on the advice of the doctor took it easy for a few days, im booked to go to docs on sunday who will do my bloods to see if there are going down fast enough or whether i will need an op.

Bleeding stopped a day of so ago, and although it was heavy im still gettiing a positive hpt....the doctors says this will reamin true until the sac is passed

The strangest this is my boobies are achy, im soooo tired and really thirsty. It is certainly a head f**k!

Im still going with the fact its all over, there was way to much blood loss to be anything else...i just wish i didnt feel so pregnant so my head can get around it.....

4ever 7 years ago my mum also got diagnosed with breast cancer and has had problems ever since, one being a blood clot on her lungs and having to have a tranfusion. She is also on warfin and later found out she is diabetic, something which can be triggered by chemo. She has to go to the doctors every week to make she her blood is ok, not too thin and not too thick. However its never right and she suffers from swollen ankles etc etc. I think i posted a few weeks back as i was worried that her leg was swollen and went black she is fine though, im fact as im typing her and my dad are on the way to america to once again meet his long lost sister. Hope your mum is ok.

curley and gg how are you ladies? I wish i was comparing projectile vomiting with you both

jools glad the scales moved....Im waiting for the big hormone crash but gg is right i have my hol home to look forward too and the festival...so hopefully whe i get back to normal it will be at least 3 to 4 weeks down the line and hopefully ill be over the worse, chin up love, sod the fat man in his overpriced car!!! I had an argument with an ozzy lady yesterday who beeped dh for blocking the lane....as she went passed i screamed wait! she stopped and wound down her window and started shouting at me...i forgot that she would be right next to me because its left hand drive!!! que lots of shouting back and forth until the guy behind her beeped for her blocking the lane....i love karma!!

Hi to everyone else, im really tired and dh has had to go to the docks for an hour so im going to sleep again (3rd power nap of the day!)

Ill catch up soon xxx

Joolsiam · 19/06/2009 14:18

Good to see you Barbie

It does sound like you are in a horrible, strange limbo-land

Hopefully Sunday will come around quickly and you can get some closure
