Hold on, here we go again!

Hum,
Buzz,
Click click
Hum

Monitor blinks, glows
Processor thrums happily

Fingers fly across the keyboard
"Hi how are you?"
"I'm fine been waiting for you"
Smile spreads wide across my face

Her words appear slowly
Full of humor and warmth
A cyber smile, a virtual laugh
Silent yet I hear

Realizing it's time to go,
a somatic sensation warms me

"I hope to chat again soon"
"Till then good bye"

Click click
Buzz
Silence

I found this and thought of us!......

gg couldnt find you on fb for ages...until i realised i was searching for gracie! email all sent, thankyou xx

Morning! Just finished a night shift with MrsKate who is on day 33 which is very exciting. She is being a good girl though and not testing till after the weekend (normal cycle 35 days ish). We did manage to find some time to symptom spot during our shift! I'm only on day 23 so AF not even due for another week (Day 30) so trying to forget about it for a while. I might test on day 28 just to see. Actually DH is home on day 27 (saturday) so might test then so he'll be around to tell, otherwise he's not back till day 35.

Cupcake yes it would be fab if me and MrsKate could get BFP at the same time for RL hand holding.

jools sorry AF got you.

annie only 2 sleeps now!

MLS your DD is funny!

Barbie lovely news about MM's scan! Sorry to hear she's been in hospital though.

Waves to Neeko, Cupoftea, Scorpio, littlebellsmum

GracieGirl · 26/05/2009 08:30

Barbie - I am Gracie!! - at least 4 of my closest real life friends always call me Gracie or GracieGirl. My real name is for relatives and work. x

cupofteaplease · 26/05/2009 08:38

Wow barbie- 7 months for AF to come, that must have been very frustrating for you! I was expecting mine in 28 days as per my usual cycle- silly me!

Have a good day everyone- I am writing medium term plans for my class, joy!

iggypiggy · 26/05/2009 10:14

gingermumi · 26/05/2009 10:19

LionstarBigPants · 26/05/2009 16:30

Hi girls, though it was about time I dropped by and waved to you all again! I can only aspire to your levels of chattiness though

Belated congrats to MLS, such great news!

Just wanted to send hugs to Jools - at least your cycles are getting back to normal much quicker this time. Fingers crossed for the next one.

Barbie those hours sound hard, are they expecting blood? all the more incentive for a BFP though!

Good to hear my fellow big-panter-ers vjay and sabs are doing well. And looking forward to welcoming annie into the fold.

My news is that we had the anomaly scan today (had to wait until 22 weeks). Everything was just fine, though Fidget wasn't living up to its name for once and got stuck in a very awkward position for the sonographer. Very cute to see the little kicking feet and all the little fingers though. Will post a picture if I can work out how. Funny bit was we were left in the waiting room with my hospital notes, DP couldn't resist having a sneaky flip though - and opened it on the page that said 'Antenatal testing results' - I had to slam it shut in case it stated the sex. We had a naughty little giggle together, but it was odd to think we probably had the paper with the baby's flavour on right there in our hands (am sort of regretting not looking now!)

VJaybigpants · 26/05/2009 16:48

Hi lionstar long time no 'see'. Glad your anomaly scan went well, you must be about 22 weeks now like sabs, it is going fast.

Ooooh mrskate I'm getting excited for you, you are doing well not to test!

Was just thinking how blue mollie and mermaid are doing, hope you lovelies are ok

GracieGirl · 26/05/2009 17:29

Evening everyone!

Lion its good to see you and I'm so pleased your anomaly scan went well.

Vjay I know what you mean, I haven't got as much willpower as MrsKate, you just know I'd have caved by now and sneaked a quick test.

Quick waves to ginger, cupoftea and iggy before I run off to work.

VJaybigpants · 26/05/2009 18:43

Have a good shift gracie

Neeko · 26/05/2009 20:32

Hi all.
Lionstar Great news on your scan. Are you beginning to relax a bit now?
Cupcake It must be quite reassuring for you that you have charted for a while. At least it gives you an idea what your body might do. I wish I'd known about temping when I came off the pill again last August. I think it must take a few months to understand your body's signs.
mrskate well done on the non-testing. You're a stronger woman than me.
gracie Working again? You'll soon be doing as many hours as Barbie Cupoftea One of the lovely ladies on here (Think it was Moon who is mid-move right now) told me my AF would come when I had something important to go to and didn't want it...do you have anything coming up?
iggypiggy welcome to the next hill in the TTC rollercoaster.
MLS How many tests did you do today Are you listed as babymads favourite customer yet?
Barbie Try to look at your job as something positive. If nothing else you can use it for your stories to your DC beginning "Before I had you..." I've kept a pair of my size 8 jeans that I KNOW I'll never wear again as a visual aid for one of my stories
Vjay have you written a birth plan? Are you planning on a home birth? I see the government is planning for all women to have that choice.
gingermumi another teacher? Do you only teach a level? That sounds nice. I teach all levels from 12-18. We change timetable next Monday and I really don't have the energy to gear up to being scary teacher again...
mm hope you feel better soon.
Hello to all you missing Emmsy's out there. Hope you come back to us soon.

MrsKate · 26/05/2009 20:52

hi ya xx
the reason ive not tested yet is beacuse i dont know how long my cycle is and i had a 40 day cycle before. i have done tests at 35 days and the af came . i really really want to know now though.xxx

Neeko · 26/05/2009 20:56

Don't clarify - just bask in our admiration! I tested yesterday: big fat negative but it is early and, like you, I have no idea how long my cycle is. as we're always saying: it's not over til the old witch flies in!

gingermumi · 26/05/2009 21:22

Congrats on scan Lion. Neeko I teach 16-adult in a college, some GCSE but mostly A levels for my sins! Big waves to eveyone else.

VJaybigpants · 26/05/2009 21:44

neeko I haven't written a birth plan yet and I don't think I'm going to this time. Last time I wrote I don't want an epidural, I only want pethidin as a last resort and gas and air if I must etc....bugger that, I ended up with the lot, what did I know I'd never done it before! This time I'm just going to go with the flow. I was tempted to just write one word....EPIDURAL I have been thinking about the birth a bit lately cos ds's wasn't much fun, I was induced on the Monday and didn't have him til the Thursday so I am quite anxious about it, but I've got to do it so am going to look into relaxation methods. If any of you have any ideas I would be most grateful

Curlywurleelittlepants · 26/05/2009 22:03

Hello all

Sorry the evil witch got you Jools. Onwards and upwards to next month. Maybe you could decide not to get pregnant - it might take some pressure off DH trying to perform (they are sensitive bless them) and of course it will mean that you DO get pregnant

Congrats to Lionstar on the scan and to all the pregnant ladies. I love hearing about things like birth plans. My sister is a doctor and attends lots of births, and she says EPIDURAL all the way!!!

Still holding out for good news from mrskate neeko and everyone on the 2ww. I've about a week to go but as DH wasn't around for the key days, I'm not holding out much hope - well I am really but I shouldn't

lots of love to you all and especially mm, we'll be thinking of you xxx

MummyLovesSadie · 26/05/2009 22:10

Hello ladies

Not much to report from the MLS camp. The pregnancy insomnia has kicked in big-time now & whereas I'd be in bed every night usually by 10pm, last night I went to bed at midnight & was wide awake with buzzing brain at 5am.

Neeko no haven't done any more tests yet! Have my gp appointment next Wednesday so will do a final one then just to make sure I've not dreamed this whole thing up! Your Hotmail keeps chucking my emails back btw.

GG & Kate are you keeping each other away from the hpt's? Which of you is going to crack first??!

Lion glad your scan was just a formality & it all went well. I know what you mean about finding out the sex, you kind of do want to know & kind of don't. It's weird when you are lying there thinking this person scanning my bump knows whether I'm having a boy or girl. You say "No don't tell us what we are having" & then spend the next 20 weeks trying to guess what it is!!!

Vjay did you & dh agree on a name?

Cupcake agree with you on the grapefruit juice, to me it tastes like orange juice when you have just brushed your teeth! Can't knock it though, on my first month of trying it I managed to drink three litres of the stuff two weekends ago & here I am pregnant!

Barbie thanks for chucking more fb friends my way

Right I'm off now to look for curtain poles.... hopefully not until midnight though.

MummyLovesSadie · 26/05/2009 22:17

Vjay second births are apparently much quicker. Also second babies are bigger - a friend of mine who has a ds the same age as my dd gave birth to a dd last week who weighed 9lb 12 - ouch!!

My dd weighed only 6lb 13 so I think if I have a 9 pounder next time it will be a bit of a shock to the system! Also I was only in labour for 17 hours & she came out in three pushes so I'm a bit worried about accidentally having the next one at home!

MrsKate · 26/05/2009 22:35

just for barbie ive put my professional pics on fb for her lol.

i think im about to crack up let alone do a test mls lol
