Hold on, here we go again!

Hum,
Buzz,
Click click
Hum

Monitor blinks, glows
Processor thrums happily

Fingers fly across the keyboard
"Hi how are you?"
"I'm fine been waiting for you"
Smile spreads wide across my face

Her words appear slowly
Full of humor and warmth
A cyber smile, a virtual laugh
Silent yet I hear

Realizing it's time to go,
a somatic sensation warms me

"I hope to chat again soon"
"Till then good bye"

Click click
Buzz
Silence

I found this and thought of us!......

Neeko · 20/05/2009 15:33

Wow Mermaid I found it and spent half an hour of marking time reading it. Can't make up my mind if troll or not. would love to believe people like that didn't exist, but sadly think she does and is beyond help.

iggypiggy · 20/05/2009 15:40

Thanks for adding me to list cupcake

Hello Jools didn't realise you were on here too - have been rubbish and not read the thread through!

Fanks for welcome Neeko boo for the marking...

bluesatinsash · 20/05/2009 16:35

Hi guys, sorry I've not been on for ages, having a torrid time still with the ms and more brown bleeding scares but scanned (again!) this morning and all OK. Feel I've turned a corner and I'm now embracing this pregnancy and have started talking to my growing baby in a "we're in this together" way .

MLS - huge congrats to you, one day at a time but think positive sticky thoughts and you will get there x

Jools - thanks for your kind words and stalk away!

Mermaid - so shit that AF has turned up. How are you feeling my lovely? You are so so supportive and selfless on here and rarely take up air space on your journey's ups and downs. Just wanted to say I've been thinking about you today x

Welcome Iggypiggy - sorry to hear you were robbed of your lo - its just so cruel isn't it? Glad your AF is back and you can start along the new path towards parenthood!

I really feel there are going to be a rash of BFPs over the next couple of weeks - watch this space...

waves and high fives to everyone else x

mermaidspurse · 20/05/2009 17:34

mls you have crossed to the other side... pursed lips....quick bit of and a bit of muttering....deep breath congratulations

blue oh honey your rollercoaster ride is certainly keeping you on the edge of your seat - naughty you for not letting me cross myself up in knots for you this morning- hey who needs yoga on this thread? Its a great sign to be talking away to your sparkly sticky bean.

iggypiggy brave lady, its a big step I know and big welcomes

neeko mark those papers!

VJaybigpants · 20/05/2009 18:38

Hi iggy and welcome to this thread
blue I've been thinking of you hun as I thought you'd been quiet, hope you are well hun.

iggypiggy · 20/05/2009 18:53

Thanks for the welcome blue is nice to see people who have got PG after MC - makes me feel much more positive.

Also thanks mermaid much appreciated - I didn't think I'd think about ttc ever again at one point - but at the mo I feel like is what I want again - which is good

Also hello Vjay and thanks for welcome too

Neeko · 20/05/2009 20:10

Ok 30 down, 360 to go. Thought I deserved a sneaky mn break. As I type my DD is singing v loudly through her monitor and telling her stuffed toys bedtime stories - very amusing
blue Great to see you back. Sorry you,ve been having a hard time but good to know you can get reassurance from a scan when you need it.
Mermaid How you feeling now? That initial min-second heart sink feeling when you find out someone else has a BFP is horrible isn't it? Especially when it's someone you care about (like the ladies on this thread) and you want them to be happy.
Ok, back to work for me. Be good ladies, and if you can't be good, at least put all the juicy details on this thread for the rest of us to devour!

gingermumi · 20/05/2009 20:17

OMG so many BFPs! Big big congrats and apologies for being away so long! Work has been hectic which has a knock-on effect at home (I teach A Levels so it's a busy time of year). I was also getting really stressed about the whole baby thing so not coming on MN was probably a good thing! So glad to see so many positive thoughts and wishes here, I'd forgotten how wonderful this thread is . Will hopefully be able to visit more often as year gets quieter now. Off to catch up on another thread so bye for now

BlueMoon1981 · 20/05/2009 20:18

not stopping but MLS huge congarts to you!

iggypiggy its nice to see you have crossed over to the 'other side', the ladies here are lovely and will have you feeling good in no time.

neeko hope you are feeling ok today

BlueMoon1981 · 20/05/2009 20:19

GracieGirl · 20/05/2009 20:37

Mermaid sorry AF got you this month.

Iggypiggy welcome to our mad thread!

Gingermumi welcome back!

hi moon and vjay blue im glad you are well being thinking of you

cupofteaplease · 20/05/2009 20:57

Hi all, hope everyone is okay. Not sure if I should be venturing over here yet, but assumed this is where the experts are...

Basically, I began bleeding/MC (after seeing baby's heartbeat at 8 weeks, then 9 weeks, then dead at 10+ weeks ) on 20th April and passed the sac on 25th April. Sorry for TMI. I have no idea when my next AF will be due. It's been 30 days since bleeding started, cycle is usually 28 days.

Just to complicate things, dh has decided he doesn't want to TTC , but has not been wanting to use contraception either

Any advice- on period arriving, TTC, dh, other...

Good luck to you all TTC.

treedelivery · 20/05/2009 21:09

Sorry to intrude. I was thinking of starting athread for people who are interested to follow my journey as an egg donor.

But I want to be sensitive to those ttc, or in other difficulties regarding pregnancy.

I wondered if you have an opinion on the best place for me to do this, if yo could post it here

I don't want it to be in your topic if it insensitive you see.

Good luck to all ttc, and sticky beans all round.

GracieGirl · 20/05/2009 21:15

Cupoftea welcome to our thread, you venture over here as soon as you feel ready, you can always lurk on both threads for a bit. Your AF could arrive at any time though can be a bit longer than your normal cycle. Its a bit unpredictable I'm afraid. Quite a few people on here have found AF came about a month after the sac was passed (or a month after their operation). Its just a matter of being patient I'm afraid, as annoying as it is!

It sounds like your DH just needs some time. Mine was the same, he didn't like the idea of TTC again, as he didn't want me to go through all that sadness again, but didn't want to try not to conceive either. It's just over 3 months for me now and DH just gradually came round to the idea as he saw me become a bit more emotionally stable. Though I don't tend to share too much technical information with him regarding ovulation kits and counting days, I just keep that to myself.

littlebellsmum · 20/05/2009 21:21

Evening ladies - MLS, I am so pleased for you, that is fantastic news. Sticky, Sticky bean thoughts

Evening all

Welcome Iggy glad you have made it over here from the dark side.

Blue I've been wondering about you as we hadn't heard anything for a few days. Sorry you've been having such a shit time. Glad to hear you saw bean this morning & all is well.

Neeko lovely lady, how is your marking going? I think I'll be using the hpt's myself... I've already used two of them today!! Had a fright this morning with the jam jar wee, I think it must have gone off or the hormones had evaporated as I had a bfn first (scary) but when I tested again with fresh wee I had a bfp straight away.

Jools any news on af? Remember what Neeko's Nan used to say - the best things happen when you are least expecting them.

MrsKate are you on day 27 now? Did you say you had a really long cycle? It is probably a bit to early to test (yeah right coming from the Queen of early testing!) but I'd give it 3 or 4 days before af is due & if you get a bfn then test again after af due.

Thanks cupcake for being so considerate.

Vjay thanks, all offers of hand-holding gratefully accepted!

Mermaid it took me ages to work out what aibu was. Once I'd worked it out it took me ages to read. at the language/terminology some of those ladies use. Honestly, they make us look like a bunch of grannies in a knitting circle, discussing the weather! I'm so glad we have nobody like that on our thread, reading it makes me love you gals even more. Really sorry af got you, so bloody early too.

Bakingqueen don't lose heart, bd'ing on night of + opk should be enough, its not like its a week too early or late is it?

4ever how is your hair looking? Please let us know when you have done your test next week, one way of the other.

Barbie Where are you? We miss you.

I've been going to bed really late since dh has gone away & every night I keep promising myself an early night but I don't get to bed until after 11. My head feels like its buzzing off my shoulders at the moment, I woke up at 5.45 this morning 'buzzzzz' & right now it feels like sleep is a long long way away, buzzzzz!

MummyLovesSadie · 20/05/2009 22:00

X posts about 10 times as my post took about two hours to write

Thanks so much LBM GG Moon & everyone for your congrats. Feels weird being in the medium pants crew.

Cupoftea your story is similar to mine, I had two scans showing healthy baby, then more bleeding & at 9 weeks a scan showing my baby had become an angel. I miscarried later that day. I bled for about 3 weeks. About four weeks after the bleeding stopped I had a short af. Word of warning, if you are using opk's they will show + if you still have pregnancy hormone in you. Make sure you get a bfn on a hpt before you either ttc or use a opk. Waiting for af is bloody hard as there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. On your other point about dh, just act like you are feeling ok & he is more likely to want to try again when he feels like you are past the worst. Rant & rave to all of us as much as you like.... I'm speaking from experience as that is what I had to do!

MrsKate of course I don't mind you telling GG!

Welcome back Ginger. Neeko just soooooooo sweet about your dd singing to herself. I went in to my dd yesterday morning to find her standing up in her cot, chatting away to her dolly that was in her hand, queue MLS's heart melting!

MrsKate · 20/05/2009 22:04

thank mls yeah i was on a 35+ day cycle before mc . i dont no what to do i have a test at home now buts its too soon i think .xxx

MummyLovesSadie · 20/05/2009 22:17

MrsKate if your af is not due for another 8 days then I wouldn't test until about Monday or Tuesday next week. Yes I know that's aaaaaages away!
