The bugger! Men just don't get it. When I got upset this morning my DH just told me to try not to stress. If only it were that easy... "Oh, I'll decide not to be stressed today - ta da!" Clearly not working!
Your DH probably is worried about you going through everything again and didn't mention it because of your, very female, tendency to overanalyse.

Hmmmmmmm, the only proactive thing you can do is make an appointment with your gp. Tell the doc that you suspect you might not be ov'ing & they will normally get you to make another appointment on day 21 for blood tests. I'm not actually saying that you might not be ov'ing, but that is the only proper way to get it checked out. In the meantime your af might not appear & you may not have to have those tests! Don't stop temping though.

Men huh? You are right they don't get it. They say the things that make us even more when all they really should do is give us a big cuddle & it would be so much more effective!

I'm off to a markers' meeting today. I have 390 candidates papers to mark between now and 3rd of June (+ work, DD, housework and possible sleep) EEEK! Unfortunately something has to give and while I'd ideally like it to be work or housework (both?) it'll probably be MN I'll be lurking though and thinking of you all. I'll be back!!!!

Not doing so well with distracting myself and steering clear of MN for a bit but will now make a concerted effort.. Backache & cramps gone after 24 hrs of feeling dodgy.. My supersweet DH and I both have next week off work so wont be about then anyway, we been together 4 yrs on mon so may test then in our ritualistic fashion of him lurking outside loo while I wee on the stick and then running in to stare at it as soon as I put the lid on! He's such a sweetie, cant wait for our week long love in! Ahh bliss! Half day today for hairdressers & only 2 days of work left!

Neeko try not to worry too much about the temp thing. As I'm sure you've been told a million times, your body is still probably settling down. After a 44 day cycle last month it might just be a later ovulation. Just keep at it with dh to make sure ;) Glad you are more positive though. Eek to the marking- good luck with it!

4ever I think we're all cheering you on the most- I honestly can't imagine what you've been through and to still be so positive and loved-up is amazing. A good friend of mine and his wife have had 4 mmc and he is in a real state over it, on anti-depressants and stuff been a v dark time for their marriage I think so yeah, just know you are doing amazingly well! So hope this is your month

MLS any news yet?? So excited for you...but sorry about dh reaction. Mine would be exactly the same. He was barely even excited about the first pg; men just don't take it in the same way we do.

Congrats MLS so pleased for you got my fingers crossed for a sticky bean for you. Don't think this month will be the one for me had bd night of +ve opk then had terrible headache the night after where all I could think of was sleep and last night me and dh had an argument about moving so no bd going to try to cajole him tonight but think our chance has gone this month . Sat surrounded by removal men packing up the living room around me at the moment so this will be my last chance in a few weeks until I get internet to post on here. Will try and lurk on my blackberry but it won't let me post for some reason and lets me read all your posts but will not show me who has posted them so when internet connected will have to have a serious MN session. So am hoping I come back to a whole load of BFP's and a happy healthy time for all you medium and big pant wearing ladies x

Cupcake you are such a lovely lady and tears stung as I read what you wrote, Im very sorry to hear what your friends are going through, it is a truly awful thing. I think we know how dark it can get and we just work bloody hard at trying to keep upbeat, its almost a case of the more it has happened the more we refuse to let this thing beat us and the stronger and more united we become, Im not saying we havent had very dark days, we are all familiar with the occasional mini meltdown! I just thank god I have a really wonderful supportive man that is my best friend too.. Thank you for the positive thoughts tho sweetheart... Hope all is well with you? xxxx

I'm good thanks 4ever still a bit unsure about whether we're going to 'properly' ttc this month...I kind of want another cycle to go by to see what's happening but I won't be actively not trying iykwim.

mermaid I don't really know your situation but yes, all the girls on this thread seem to cope amazingly with all this and be really positive about moving on. For this couple I know it is really sad as it has totally changed their lives, they've cut off from certain friends etc... so yeah, I am v glad we all have each other here to know we're not alone
