Hold on, here we go again!

Hum,
Buzz,
Click click
Hum

Monitor blinks, glows
Processor thrums happily

Fingers fly across the keyboard
"Hi how are you?"
"I'm fine been waiting for you"
Smile spreads wide across my face

Her words appear slowly
Full of humor and warmth
A cyber smile, a virtual laugh
Silent yet I hear

Realizing it's time to go,
a somatic sensation warms me

"I hope to chat again soon"
"Till then good bye"

Click click
Buzz
Silence

I found this and thought of us!......

yeah i know you are right i just have the same symptoms as before now like the sore boobs and bloated . i wont test till next week then beacause even if i was it wouldnt show up yet would it?

MummyLovesSadie · 20/05/2009 22:31

No probably not. Mine actually showed up + very very faintly 6 days before af due, but it was so faint you could only see it certain light! Today it is much darker & most definitely a bfp & I'm 4 days before af due.

MrsKate · 20/05/2009 22:35

that gives me hope thanks i feel alot better about it now im just hoping a get a bfp now that would be the best wedding pressie ever . congrats again xxxxxxx

MummyLovesSadie · 20/05/2009 22:37

Awww thanks

I hope you get a bfp too, that would be so romantic.

MrsKate · 20/05/2009 22:39

yeah that would but knowing my luck i wont . i do feel differnt tho but dont know if im making myself feel this way if you know what i mean

GracieGirl · 21/05/2009 09:18

Oh Kate I really hope you get your honeymoon BFP, but MLS is right, leave it till 3 or 4 days before AF is due at the very earliest. Ideally wait till the day your AF is due. It depends on what sort of pregnancy test you have and how sensitive it is. Its really hard having a long cycle when you see people on here testing on day 25 and 26 and think you have at least another week to go.

I hope everyone is well this morning!

MrsKate · 21/05/2009 09:28

moring everyone

hi gracie i know you are right im just inpatient lol. i wont test to next week promise

Joolsiam · 21/05/2009 10:02

Morning all

Bags under eyes here - bloody cat woke me up at 3.45 and I couldn't get back to sleep

MrsKate - wishing you all the luck in the world

MLS - has it sunk in yet ?

Helloooo lovely Mermaid, and where is Barbie hiding - you are doing far too much work missis.

Lovely to "see" you BlueSatin - hopefully the worst of the 12WW is over now and you can start to relax a little soon ?

Welcome CupofTea My cycle is also 28 days - I had a first anovulatory bleed exactly 35 days after my MC started and a 32 day cycle next time, then it all settled down. My DP was exactly the same as regards TTC - I just gave him a bit of space and it all seemed to work out in the end, although we're now back in that place following another (early) MC ..

A sunny hello to everyone else

I seem to be peeing a lot today - literally have just got back to my desk from the loo and feel the urge to go again Also feeling a little nauseous, but that is most likely hunger and sleep deprivation ! 11DPO today

cupcakefairy · 21/05/2009 10:20

Morning all.
LBM sorry af got you but at least like you said you can go into your interview knowing you're not pregnant, and next month could be your month!

Hi Cupoftea.. I had my first af 42 days after my mc and my cycle is usually about 32 days. I ovulated about a week later in my cycle than I usually would. I'm v interested to see what this cycle does! (My second after the mc) Like the other girls have said, just give your dh some space. If he doesn't want to use contraception that is a good sign! I know it's a cliche but time is an amazing healer and I really didn't think straight after my mc that I'd feel this positive about trying again.

Hi ginger we haven't met either

And hi to everyone else, Neeko well done on making a small dent in the papers! And a special hello to our newest medium pants lady MLS

GracieGirl · 21/05/2009 10:59

Morning Jools, you're not symptom spotting again by any chance are you? Sounds hopeful though.

Neeko how's the marking going?

Barbie have you ran off?? Don't forget to send me your address so I can post your opks and pregnancy tests.

Morning Cupcake!

Quick question, I had positive ovulation tests on monday and tuesday this week. BD twice on sunday, and once on tuesday and once on wednesday. (sorry TMI ) Do you think that should do? Or as DH is home today too should we do it again just to make sure? I'm sooooo tired!! And really running out of ways to make it spontaneous!!!!!

MummyLovesSadie · 21/05/2009 12:52

Hi GG personally I think you've done enough bd'ing, remember sperm lasts for days. Sit down, relax, put your feet up & consider yourself on the 2ww lady! Oh I was going to ask you, now I'm back on Facebook could you forward me some MN friends suggestions please? I'm already friends with Barbie, Annie & MrsKate Jools your symptoms sound promising, you don't like to test early though huh? Yes it has sunk in & although I'm over-the-moon, it is tinged with a little sadness. Neeko described it perfectly when she said yesterday that you get a mini heart-sink feeling when you find out someone else has a bfp. Well I feel a bit sad & almost guilty as I know how much everyone else wants and deserves a bfp. We will all get there in the end but it is the waiting & uncertainty that is so bloody hard.

Right I'm off to pack now as tomorrow dd & I are going to my parents in Kent to stay for the weekend.

Joolsiam · 21/05/2009 12:58

MLS - I know exactly what you mean - not only about the heart-sink, jealousy nanosecond when you first hear of a new BFP and the ridiculous feeling of guilt that you've been lucky and others are still trying - there can't be any solution to that - just understanding

I shouldn't be symptom spotting as head says an emphatic no Jools, you are not PG ! Each time I have been, I've been 95% certain before I've tested. This time, I have the odd possible symptom, but don't feel like it is my month, and my boobs are resolutely in non-pregnant mode - they've not even swollen or got tender like they sometimes do post ovulation, so I'm pretty sure I'm just being hopeful for nothing. Trouble is, I can't let a 2WW go by without over-analysing every twinge and toilet visit

Enjoy your weekend in Kent I grew up in Maidstone. I am off to Hay on Wye for the weekend - leaving tomorrow afternoon

MummyLovesSadie · 21/05/2009 13:00

Oh I know Maidstone...... I was Miss Maidstone 1988!!!

Joolsiam · 21/05/2009 13:02

Oooh - I left school in 1988, so was still there

MummyLovesSadie · 21/05/2009 13:04

How funny, maybe you came to the carnival & I gave you a royal wave from my float!!1

Joolsiam · 21/05/2009 13:06

Just went back to your profile pic, thinking, I wonder if we knew each other back then, but can't decide if your face looks familiar or not

We are the same age though My parents still live in Maidstone ..

MummyLovesSadie · 21/05/2009 13:09

I only lived there for about four years from the age of 17, until I moved to London. We probably both went to the same pubs & clubs! My parents live on the coast in Deal, such an antiquated town it makes Maidstone look massive & cosmopolitan!

Joolsiam · 21/05/2009 13:12

mmmmm - memories of Davincis and Drakes I went off to uni, so didn't really socialise much there after I left school

cupcakefairy · 21/05/2009 14:29

Ooh MLS my in-laws are in Dover so I have visited Deal many a time and eaten chips on the coast and walked down the pier! It's lovely in that part of the world! Hope you have a lovely relaxing weekend. Are you telling your parents the news yet??

Jools we're going to Hay on Wye for the day on Monday! Are you still there then? Maybe we'll walk past each other and not even know it... I'm so excited though, it's my first time going and I looooove books!

GG sounds to me like you've done enough bd for all of us ...but seriously, it does sound like you're covered so don't put pressure on yourself tonight

I'm v chirpy cos just found out our friend has been granted his Visa so we ARE going to France in 4 weeks, yippeeee.

Joolsiam · 21/05/2009 15:36

Cupcake - we'll be travelling back to the Home Counties at some point Monday but I'm not sure yet when we will leave, so yes I may wander past you at some point I haven't been there for 5 years - really looking forward to it

MummyLovesSadie · 21/05/2009 20:13

Cupcake yes going to tell my parents... can't wait but expecting a subdued 'sensible' reaction rather than fireworks! Where in France are you going as I'm going 'en famille' in three weeks! We are going to St Jean De Monts in Vendee.

How is everybody this evening.... in fact where is everybody this evening!??

I'm off upstairs now to continue packing for the weekend.

MrsKate · 21/05/2009 20:59

GracieGirl · 21/05/2009 20:59

Hello! I've been out for the afternoon, got back about an hour ago, but couldn't get mumsnet to load. DH is now asleep on the sofa so I don't think they'll be any BD'ing tonight!

MLS I've forwarded Facebook links to Sabs and Scorpio I don't think I've got any others apart from those you already have, Barbie is the one to ask.

Lots of holidays going on, I'm on nights again tomorrow and DH is gone again for a week, but I can't complain I've seen him 3 evenings and one day this week.

MrsKate · 21/05/2009 21:02
