Neeko X posts, yes I'm here! Your temp should rise whether you ov or not. Unfortunately you can have have an LH surge (which will make your temp rise) even if you don't ov. Do you normally get any twinges when you ov?

GG Congrats (I think) to your dh. Just look at it this way, he is working towards being a consultant so that when you have 2 kids you don't even have to think about going back to work!

GG art class for todders is hectic & I'll remember to take an apron for myself next week! She has massive feet, not only a large size but they are such chubby little trotters (pun!) that she can only wear great big lace up Kickers - none of your pretty little Clark's numbers!

Sabs a good friend of mine had placenta-previa & apparently a lot of cases sort themselves out before the birth. Having said that hers didn't & she ended up having a c-section but now she has a wonderful healthy little boy that my dd is in love with!

my mum told me she had a similar case with my sister and had to have a c-section. Have also read its more common if you've had a mc..have to watch out for bleeding and call the delivery suite if i do bleed....but will try not to focus on it too much until i have to...

aww MLS she's so cute! I'm very of you and your classes. I'd love to do things like that with DD but all the classes stop in the summer holidays We do paint and play playdough quite a bit at home though.
I'm ashamed to admit that I've only ever thought about ovulation since my M/C. I fell pg straight way both times and was on the pill for years so never had to consider it. So, ladies, fill me in on all your ov twinges please. This whole thing is so complicated isn't it?

Gracie I meant to say that's good about your DH's exam but it must be very frustrating for you. It's amazing that despite all the advances we've made, women's careers still play second fiddle to their DH's. My DH is generally good but if he has to work that's it, while I have to break my neck getting to work after dropping DD off and then the same on the way home. DH even believes that he should be able to take a day off and send DD to the childminder but she's never at the childminder when I'm off Still, he has other uses!

Neeko yes the hols are a bit of a nightmare with all the classes & mother & toddler groups stopping. Thank god for soft-play! How old is your dd? Why are there still no pics of you on your profile??!

Not everyone gets ovulation twinges.... its called something ridiculous & unpronounceable like mizzlesmertz!!! I usually get af type pains in one or the other sides for a few hours on the day I ovulate.

mittelschmerz - it means middle pain in German. I really haven't noticed anything like that.
My DD is 2.7 and very cheeky. Her dad built her a wooden playhouse at the weekend and she loves it. think I'll have a permanent stoop from spending my summer hols standing in it!

Awww cute, kids love having little dens to play in & have tea parties in. I think you have to add us all as your mn buddies & then make your photo's visible only to your friends. I've got mine visible to all so I'm sorry but I can't really give you a definite answer.

I lived in Germany for a year when I was 21 and was fluent then although it's mostly gone now. I am trained to teach it but never have. I'll be happier when I know where DH is working next, I hate not being in control of my life. They don't usually let him know till the last minute. Quickly flying in - fab news about the scan Scorpio and you too Sabs - low lying placenta seems quite common, my 7m PG collegaue sittin next to me hasit, my SIL had it & was fine at end, my best friend had it & did need the C sect 5 weeks early as had some bleeds in last months, I think in the most part it does correct itself tho so fingers crossed for you!

We have been actively BD! missed yesterday but did this morning & mon night so sure will be ok! Maybe again tonight to be sure, havent felt my OV twinge yet tho . Sometimes its quite painful & that puts me off wanting to BD! Quite a while since last MC now (end of Jan), quickest got PG again was 10 weeks, think its been 14/15 weeks this time... Neeko your question about temp rise was already answered but yes you're right, this conception lark is so complicated! I get ovulation pains every month; can even tell which side I'm ovulating from. It's just a sharp twinge (when I was younger I used to think I had appendicitis whenever that happened- haha!) When I mentioned this pain to my friends who are on the pill they were all so bewildered by it as they'd never felt it.

Barbie loved the snowboarding story that's happened to me on a ski lift before- so not cool! I'm a bit of a Bridget Jones when it comes to stuff like that!

Morning all Working from home today and the decorator is in the bathroom, so I'm trying to cross my legs and not kick him out to wee too often

Re ov pains - I got them without fail pre mc - often mild cramping and bloating that could be worse than AF pains and an uncomfortable feeling when sitting on something hard, like a loo seat ! Since losing weight though, I barely get a twinge I find it a bit unsettling not knowing, but can predict it accurately by looking at EWCM and going by my libido It is naturally non-existent unless I am fertile !!!!!! wierd but true

Neeko - a fellow German speaker here - I studied modern languages at uni many moons ago and actually did a Masters in translating and interpreting, then went into IT !! I did get to work in Germany for 18 months, which I loved. Tis now a bit rusty but will resurrect itself if I get some practice - along with the French and very very very rusty Russian :D
