for those who enquired, we are not 'moved' yet, this is just my dp being very super organised (its usually me!) and we have been moving a few boxes on the weekend so there is no mad rush for the big move in a couple of weeks time. he means well but doing my head in

well i had my midwife appointment today, loads of questions and form filling and LOTS of blood taken! thankfully am not too bad with needles and my nice lady was very efficient and it hardly hurt at all. she hopes i will be able to have my scan in the next 2 weeks before we move, then i'll be able to transfer somewhere a bit closer to our new house. feeling very smiley now although mls i have scared myself with some of the 'light' reading they have given me - wow so many books!

had a lovely afternoon as i skived work early for my appointment and was home by 5pm - what bliss

hello ladies, sorry i havent posted for a long time, i have been lurking, just been really busy at work, and then feeling so knackered when i get home..

Well, i am at the halfway point, hopefully the other 20 weeks go smootyly. I have my 20 scan tomorrow morning at 8.30am and a midwife appointment straight after. I then have to rush off to deliver a whole days worth of training on the other side of London - no rest for the wicked!

Moon Glad you had a positive appt. Don't read too much of your books as I think they can freak you out. If you have the will power (personally I don't) I'd advise you to have an initial read and then put them away until after the scan.

MLS what did your DD take to bed tonight? Have you had a temp rise yet? I didn't get a +ive opk today but we're still on track with the BDing. DH thinks it's his b'day and xmas together. Poor soul hasn't worked out that this will be the feast before the famine if my millitary mission works this month!

Just popping on quickly to say hello as i'm off to work. Sorry i've been lazy in regard to posting recently but you can rest assured that i have been doing a lot of lurking and reading everyone's news

well another month has come and gone and not pregnant -got af on sunday so i'm on day 3 now. Been using the clear blue monitor thing though and interestingly told me i peaked on days 11 and 12 so maybe all this time trying i have been doing the deed a bit late in my cycle. also had another 25 day cycle so i guess that all fits. This month am going to put everything into it -bd'ing on days 8,9,10,11,12 and 13 better start conserving my energy now!

Last night we went to bed at 11pm with DH claiming he was 'ridiculously tired' but of course 5 mins later he's pestering me for bd..he actually said 'we can't let the sperm go stale.' Well you know that convinced me girls! Nothing like a bit of dirty talk!

MLS and Neeko I'm still around honest. I've just finished nights, I want to sleep for a fortnight. Today is DH's exam, I'm really nervous for him. I feel really bad cos if he fails it he'll end up back at home with no work for 3 months from August and I can't help thinking that wouldn't be so bad (it would be brilliant!!!!). Behave Gracie!! If he passes he'll progress in August to another randomly allocated hospital somewhere miles away.

blue glad your midwife appointment went well, I remember the midwife having 3 goes at getting my blood tests and then giving up at my midwife appointment. Your scan will be in 2 weeks? Thats great!

X posted CupCake - trust me we've all been there, waiting weeks for AF to appear post MC so I can assure you we're not bored of hearing about it. Though we might send the Barbie-Mobile round at some point soon to scare it into action if it doesn't hurry up!

Thanks Gracie it's just so frustrating; my cycle has always been so regular I hate not being in control! Maybe it is teaching me a good lesson, who knows.

Don't know whether to say 'hope your dh passes his exam' or not! but good luck to him.

Only on quickly and sorry I haven't been posting much but feeling sooo bad with morning sickness here. Don't ever remember it being this bad with DD, the only relief I am getting is when I am sleeping. Trying different remedies but what seems to help one day make me sick the next. Keep hoping it must be a good sign, guess we will find out next Friday at our scan. Lets just say no more joking about twins now!!!!

Well, day 2 of diet here and I am STARVING ! I also have a raging case of thrush and burst into tears just now at something very trivial despite feeling reasonably ok today - if I didn't know there was no chance, I'd be symptom spotting like made on that evidence !! Our bodies do like to deceive us don't they.

Back to work - I spent most of the day surfing yesterday and am and worried about my productivity levels, so keeping my head down today ....

A friend once got all the way to school with her 3 kids in the car to find out that 2 of them had no shoes on I always remind myself of that one when I have 'a moment'

It's lovely up here today, but I'm stuck inside studying. I have got to get all this coursework done before baby due day.

Hi all, well my week got off to a bad start with me breaking down on my way to work in rush hour traffic yesterday, i managed to limp the car off the main drag and onto a side street, with the car kangarooing like crazy, was so scared. Luckily my knight in shining armour (breakdown recovery man) came to rescue me only half an hour later, towed me to work, and one of my lovely male friends who owns a garage came through to collect my car on his truck, repaired it and i had it back in my hands by the time i finished work-brilliant service.

well that's a week for me on the expensive superdrug opks and still no positive. I've had no temp rise either so clearly my new cycle is going to be longer than my old one The constant BD is wearing a little thin but I'm too scared to stop in case I miss it and DH can't stop smiling! We have even planned a session for tomorrow at 5.30 am to maximise our chances in case I ovulate when he's away! Remind me again about all those women who have unplanned pregnancies?
