Hold on, here we go again!

Hum,
Buzz,
Click click
Hum

Monitor blinks, glows
Processor thrums happily

Fingers fly across the keyboard
"Hi how are you?"
"I'm fine been waiting for you"
Smile spreads wide across my face

Her words appear slowly
Full of humor and warmth
A cyber smile, a virtual laugh
Silent yet I hear

Realizing it's time to go,
a somatic sensation warms me

"I hope to chat again soon"
"Till then good bye"

Click click
Buzz
Silence

I found this and thought of us!......

Isn't it possible that you peaked between opks? If that's the case you're already covered without having put extra stress on DH and can BD for fun for the rest of the month Hope you find the lost one anyway because you are so like me and will drive yourself to distraction if you don't!
Catch up with you all tomorrow.

BlueMoon1981 · 09/05/2009 22:39

evening girls

hope you're all having a good weekend

neeko i am doing very light work, and feel useless! today i have carried a grand total of a duvet, 3 shelves from a bookcase and a camp bed. had a bit of heated discussion with dp in the car and he asked whats wrong, i said i feel useless and my eyes filled up. he laughed at me and said you're so silly, well get used to it! to which i had to laugh. i know i'm being silly, i just felt a bit like a spare part. guess theres worse things huh. least we made up

kate congratulations on being a mrs, sounds like you had a lovely day, may you have many happy times together with your new husband.

waves to all the other girls

anniecam38 · 10/05/2009 09:45

Morning ladies, hope everyone is good and enjoying their weekends.
Well ive got a bad case of 'pregnancy brain', i put things down or away and forget where ive put them!
Last night was putting DS to bed and he asked for his blankie as it wasnt on his bed, now hes had this taggie blankie since he was 4 months old and wont go to sleep without it, i knew id put it away as it was lying on the settee during the day, but could i find it, not at all. Cue a very upset DS at bedtime. Im in the process of going through the whole house with a fine tooth comb but no luck so far.
I hope i find it before tonight or theres going to be lots of tears in the Anniecam household. most of them probably mine!!

Love to you all.

cupcakefairy · 10/05/2009 11:15

Aww annie hope the taggie turns up soon! But at least that is one more symptom for you, yay!

Neeko any sign of that smiley opk?? And MLS I'm sure you would have got in with that little window so as Neeko says, enjoy some pressure-free bd for the next couple of painstakingly long weeks

Joolsiam · 10/05/2009 12:51

Lovely sunny Sunday here

Just spent 2 hours in the gym and am absolutely shattered now !! More BD attempts yesterday and this morning failed to achieve their goal Had tummy pains last night and this morning and am bloated, so think I am ov'ing and this egg will remain unfertilised Am gonna try and persuade DP to try that herbal viagra, but he is really anti taking pills because he has to take epilepsy medication every day

Still trying to persuade myself that my plan for more weight loss and having the recurrent mc appt first is a good one, but frustrated anyway ....

Oh well, diet starts tomorrow ...

Hope the blankie turns up Anniecam - have you checked really really stupid places, like the fridge / freezer / oven ?? I am talking from experience here

kate030284 · 10/05/2009 13:04

hi girls il put some pictures if i can and il speak to you all when i get back from wales xxxxxxxxx

il miss you all xxxx

Neeko · 10/05/2009 16:25

Hello everyone. Happy Sunday!
Moon You are not useless. You're doing the most important job of all.Never nind moving house, you ARE a house for someone very special You'll look back on the 'precious vessel' days with nostalgia soon enough!

Jools that things aren't working out for you this month. maybe your DH is subconsciously afraid to put you through it all again. Hopefully a month on the diet and a couple more drunken nights will be enough to fix it.

Cupcake No smiley face - yet. I am so scared in case we miss it when DH is away. BDing everyday just now as an insurance policy Has AF arrived yet?

anniecam sorry but had a little laugh at your pg brain. Really hope you find blankie though. Any chance of buying a spare?

Kate You look gorgeous (and your DH looks all right as well ) wishing you a very happy married life and as many darling babies as you'd wish.

Hope everyone else is well.

BlueMoon1981 · 10/05/2009 18:43

hello girls

kate you and your hubby look very happy, they are lovely photos and you look very beautiful.

neeko you are so right, i hadn't thought of it like that! Just not very good at doing nothing but i am trying my best! hope you are ok and you catch your egg this month

i've just been in bed for a 2 hour nap , i am sooo tired this weekend. dp sent me to bed and said i needed sleep! (now thats never happened before, he usually hops in too!)

my first midwife appointment tomorrow, i'm really excited kind of makes it all real.

hope all you lovely ladies are doing ok and have had a nice weekend xxxxxxx

anniecam38 · 10/05/2009 21:06

Evening all, well i finally found the missing blankie, i realised that id taken a pile of folded towels upstairs yesterday afternoon, so i went and checked in the cupboard and nestled amongst them was the missing blankie!!! Yeyy, never been so relieved to see a piece of cloth

Hope everyone has had a nice weekend.
moon-Are you settled in your new house yet? A nap in the afternoon is so lovely when you are feeling tired, i normally manage one on a weekend when DH is around to look after DS.

Kate-Loved your wedding pics, you lokked fab, enjoy your honeymoon.

Jools-Hope you and DP are OK, the stresses of TTC really take their toll on our other half when they feel under pressure, i know when we were TTC this bean, DH got 'stage fright' when he saw my opk,s and started saying 'why has it got to be so technical?',and wasnt always up for BD when i wanted him to be, cue lots of tears (and the odd tantrum from me) im quite amazed i managed to get pregnant that month actually.
Did your DP know your efforts at BD were purely for TTC this month, as what about next month not telling him when your Ov,ing and that your BD purely because you fancy it.

Neeko-My pregnancy brain is getting worse! Think i need to start writing things down. May have to get spare blankie i think?

Waves to cupcake MLS and everyone else.

MummyLovesSadie · 10/05/2009 21:55

Evening ladies

Annie phew you found the blankie, I bet bedtime was much easier for it. I've been trying to get dd attached to a toy so that she settles but instead she'll insist on taking random things to bed with her each night such as a teaspoon, her water bottle, a hat or a balloon!

Kate your pics look great & you look glowing, lets hope you come back from Wales with a different kind of glow!

Barbie Did you enjoy your your film last night? I guess you have been working today.

GG You still on nights? I really hope your dh passes his exams 1st time so you get more time to bd enjoy each others company.

Moon good luck for your appointment tomorrow - a word of advice, when you go home with your little blue folder, don't read through the paperwork right at the back that the midwife fills in right after the birth. It makes for pretty icky reading!!

Jools sorry to hear the bd'ing didn't go well. totally know how you feel. Its frustrating isn't it when its totally out of your hands. My dh is totally anti-pill too & takes them very reluctantly but THEY WORK!

Neeko did you get a positive opk? Has your bd'ing gone to plan this weekend? I managed to find my missing opk & did it today & it was semi-positive, really confused as my temps tell me I've not ov'd but the test on Friday said I was about to so don't really know where I am. Managed to get three bd's in over the last four days so I'm not going to obsess over it (& if you believe that you will believe anything) !

Right I'm off to bed now as despite having a mammoth lay-in until 6.30 I'm cream-crackered!

Night all.

MummyLovesSadie · 10/05/2009 22:00

Just re-read my last post & realised I've written 'totally' in three consecutive sentences. That's like, totally bad grammar maaaan!

barbie1 · 11/05/2009 04:15

hello chatter boxes!

I have been working again....at least im over the first week, only one more week of training and im on my own and a little bit more flexible

I have reflexology yesterday and it HURT, i nearly hit the roof, told the therapist to tell me the areas and it was my head (i had a headache) my uterus, my follopian tubes and my overies honestly i have never felt pain like it! so it just proves there is something wrong down there...the girl was really good, she offered to massage the areas whenever we get a chance to.

I went to buy some opk yesterday and for 5 it worked out to be about £28 so i left it and will just try to seduce dh as much as poss over the next month, although im so tired after working its going to be a mammoth effort!....

By the way kate you fb pics are fab, you looked lovely xxx

OP posts:
Joolsiam · 11/05/2009 08:37

Lovely pics Kate

Anniecam - I hadn't told DP I was ov'ing - he initiated things most of the time - I was just more enthusiastic than normal !! It has been said that women give off some sort of aura of sexuality when they are ov'ing and I think this may be true, as he regularly seems to be "in the mood" at around the right time. Now he is back at work after a 2 week holiday, hopefully things will improve as he won't be in the pub every day

I'm glad you found the blankie I can still remember major traumas years ago when my sister lost her comforter - we were on hols and it really really spoilt the holiday. I've heard a lot of people say that if you do buy a special blankie or teddy, buy two and keep one locked away in case you lose the original.

Good to hear from you Barbie - you sound a bit happier, despite being tired ?

If I didn't know I wasn't, I'd think I had PG brain too - was in the gym yesterday about to have a shower (I normally shower at home but our bathroom is a building site) - spent ages looking for my towel that I was certain I'd put in my bag - eventually gave up and got into the shower, thinking I'd have to just try and dry off with my little sweat towel - then realised my bath towel was round my waist

Later that day, I phoned DP - whilst the phone was ringing, I heard my Blackberry start to ring - cue a grump cos someone from work must be calling me at the weekend - answered it and realised I was talking to myself, having phoned myself instead of DP

Diet has started today and I'm hungry already !! Need to do it though - have put on half a stone in the 4 weeks since I stopped

Have a good day everyone

Neeko · 11/05/2009 08:59

Morning!
MLS Your DD is so funny! Think you just have to assume you have done the deed and count yourself as officially on 2WW! I'm doing ANOTHER opk today. Fingers crossed for a positive.Coyuld manage a BD today. tomorrow and before DH leaves on Wed - I'm committed! Does anyone else feel like they've been peeing on sticks forever?
Anniecam Phew! Glad you found your blankie (Sorry, DS's blankie ) Loving the napping and pg brain. All very positive.
Moon Glad to hear you're finally relaxing. Log on today and tell us all about ypur appt.
Barbie I'm willing to get you some opks from babymad and post them over if you'd like? I've spent the national debt on them so a few more won't make a difference!
Jools Good luck on the diet today. Hope it's not too hard to get back into it. Lol at your ovulation-instead-of-pregnancy-brain!
Hi to everyone else.

MummyLovesSadie · 11/05/2009 09:14

Jools v funny, just shows that we sometimes divide our brains in half & just use half a brain when preoccupied.

Neeko You much be knackered! What about your dh? Is he still willing & able?! If so I'm impressed!

Barbie I agree with Neeko, do you have anyone coming to visit from the uk & we can post a bumper pack of opk's & hpt's.

Right mush dash as taking dd to gymnastics.

Bye for now.

cupcakefairy · 11/05/2009 10:19

Morning all....and today on AF watch, a temperature drop of .4 so I'm expecting her today! DH is saying it has to be by Weds as the chart only goes up to day 42 and he doesn't want to start a new one for just a couple of days, perfectionist that he is, haha!

Meh, yesterday I mentioned something about wanting a baby (I do that quite often) and dh said 'I have to be honest, that's getting a bit annoying now' it almost made me cry. Then he felt really bad afterwards and said it was only cos he 'couldn't fix it'.

Neeko sorry about the lack of smiley face, but sounds like you're covered girl! Good on you
MLS that really made me laugh that your dd randomly takes teaspoons etc to bed my cousin always took a bunch of wires to bed as a baby bit dangerous now that I think about it.. but he always loved anything technical!
Jools good luck with the dieting! I admire you... I haven't been able to stop eating loads of choc since the mc when I hardly used to before.... meh.

MummyLovesSadie · 11/05/2009 10:48

Grrrrr I hate Mondays & always come back from dd's gym class feeling depressed. There are now three pregnant women who take their toddlers & another mother who takes her newborn baby along. It makes me feel like it will NEVER be me.

Neeko · 11/05/2009 10:56

mls It WILLbe you! Now get our into the sunshine and play with your DD. I'm at you taking her to gym class when I had to leave mine with the childminder. See, we're never happy!

Cupcake yay to the temp drop. Let the madness begin in earnest!

Neeko · 11/05/2009 10:57

Oops of course I meant out

MummyLovesSadie · 11/05/2009 11:08

Aye aye Neeko, you are right, I should stop moaning! Off out now as ordered!

4everhopeful · 11/05/2009 14:14

Afternoon Cupcake Neeko and MLS!

Big thanks to MLS Neeko and Gracie for the very explanatory BD/OV advice! We duly did it on fri night & sun morning but are gonna go for it every day til next weekend now! Wah hey! DH is up for it & we're both pretty excited, have never properly planned it before but as were 4 times PG in 16 months something must of worked! Hopefully its still working! We have the week off when AF is due so fingers crossed! (Legs certainly wont be! )

Bluemoon hope you are settled in your new home now? Felt for you feeling 'useless' Im exactly the same when im PG, I barely even cook & DH takes over completely which is so sweet, but im panged with (occasional!) guilt and have moments of feeling like a spare part, even though he's more than happy to do what he can, I think it actually stops him feeling like a spare part!

Jools thank you also for the spot on advice - interesting about 'stale' sperm! Dont think DH gets time to get stale! Sorry your BD attempts didnt come to fruition, I agree with Neeko maybe your DH has a subconscious feeling of not wanting to put you through it again? Also very pleased you liked link & even more pleased you have your first appt at RCMC clinic so v soon! Its all about getting that control back in your own hands. Perhaps also good then that you get tests & results first, cos if they find something that can be fixed with an aspirin & heparin injection then better you know b4 getting PG again?! On my 1st apt I kind of expected a man with a magic wand telling us what he'd do to make it all better, & never even saw the specialist, just a nurse that arranged all the blood tests (most tests are bloods), we had them done, then the 6 weeks or so for results to come in before we did actually see the specialist for them, obviously everywheres different but just giving you a heads up from what I know..

Moves me swiftly on to mermaid what is happening with your specialist & results hon? Forgive me if I missed it but I dont think I have, have you been back yet? Notice you werent about this w-end - hope all is well? Bet you are lurking! I'll be back to check in a bit!

Barbie Yay - one week down! In fact isnt Friday Dubais Sunday? So you are 2 days into your 2nd week now! Glad you made the most of your day off with DH, and maybe its good you have the distraction, BD as & when & hopefully you'll fall without even realising you ere trying! Thats how me & DH managed the last 4! This is first time we are actively going for it!

Lastly but not leastly - massive congrats to MRS Kate! Hope you're having a fab honeymoon and enjoying lots of gourmet BD!

Big waves & sticky thoughts to the bigpants & mediumpants crew! Also happy BD to all the smallpants not mentioned waiting to graduate up a level!

Love ya! Sorry for looooooooooooooooooong post! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

mermaidspurse · 11/05/2009 15:54

running in - hi 4ever hope you have some hi energy drinks, instant dinners, candles etc all at the ready
you looked lovely kate
running out -

barbie1 · 11/05/2009 16:25

hello, i skipped two hours of work this afternoon in order to get my photo printed for the labour card which you need to be able to work, it was soooo nice to drive home in the sun and even get 20 mins outside in it! i then went to the gym and im just getting ready for our first ski lesson
Its getting so hot we decided to book some lessons on the weekends, it will mean we can have a winter holiday in the alps....

Thankyou everyone who wants to send out opk sticks! nobody is coming out for a long while and im not home til july...if possible could somebody call them for me and see if they can post some out to dubai and the cost? i have tried to call but i think the number is barred? failing that ill order some to my parents address and get them to forward them out to me......

OP posts:
GracieGirl · 11/05/2009 16:43

Just a quick post I'm still on nights and too knackered to string a sentence together. Barbie I can order some OPKs for you and post them out to you if you send me your address on Facebook.

mermaidspurse · 11/05/2009 17:51

right coffee, music and a bit of serenity before 6 when the house turns into a soup kitchen.
barbie skiing! I will start shouting snowplow in a germadic accent You are sounding a bit more cheerful this week which is good to hear. That is very interseting about the reflexology. I think it all helps and if a placebo thing going on who cares.

scorpio only one sleep to go. I will be thinking of you tomorrow with everything crossed. Also hope you had a nice meal out.

jools Glad to see you getting back to the gym, being dollally and coping with building dust.

Oh ten minutes to go, better go and chop some onions - it works girls and this is especially for newly Mrskate. Just before dh comes home get an onion frying and it will smell like you have been slaving away at the cooker for hours
