Annie that is a real bugger. I don't suppose the hospital would take your number & call you if there have been any cancellations?

Ive asked them to do that MLS, but the only problem my end is workwise i have patients to see, and a full days list each day,(on the 3 days i work) so unless they could give me a few days notice of a cancellation,so i could sort out cover,i wouldnt be able to go short notice. Never mind such is life, and i shouldnt be whinging about it.

MLS - no major plan tonight, but we are getting on very well so I am feeling optimistic - may go out for one or two drinks, then hopefully come home for an early night

4Ever - there are loads of different thoughts about amount of BD. I've never got too scientific about it - one time I fell PG, we'd only BD'd 3 times, but I felt ov at about 7pm one night and jumped on DP that evening - am sure that is what did it !

This last time was only one BD, but the night before I was certain I was going to OV.

So, I'd say that if you are certain it is going to be Thursday, definitely go for Mon / Tues / Wed / Thurs. However, if you could be a day or so out, I'd start on Sat or Sun and try for every day till Friday. If you can't manage every day, just try to make sure you hit those 3 crucial days in the middle

MrsKate looked gorgeous!!!! As we all knew she would!!! It was a lovely day and her DH didn't look too drunk when I just hugged him goodbye. Just danced the last slow dance with MrsKate (her DH did the other slow dance with her- don't panic!) and she wasn't too wobbly either.

Also my DH has appeared home briefly so I'm going to run off, maybe I'll get some "Day 5 practice-run BDing"!!!

4Ever the Deanna Plan recommended BD every other day from day 8, then when you get a positive OPK BD that night plus the next 2 nights, then miss a night, then once more for good luck! Also states not to leave sperm to "go stale" (not BDing at all during the rest of cycle) and to make sure he ejaculates at least every 5 days throughout the cycle. (Stale sperm increases risk of miscarriage). Good luck!

Mission Seduction failed in its primary mission 4 attempts in 3 days and DP has been willing, but not able We are getting on better than we have for a long time, and talking lots - he even went to see a work colleague who is off on maternity leave with a month old baby boy - stayed a couple of hours, had a cuddle and told me all about it.

Was in a grump this morning about it all, as I have probably missed my post mc ultra fertile egg Dragged myself out of bed and out to the gym and had a fantastic session, so am happier now. Tried on my size 14 jeans and reckon that, with a month of hard dieting, I could move on from just about doing them up and be able to wear them, so will refocus on the diet and mission BD will start again in around 3 weeks time :D

Off to pick paint for our new bathroom next - we have a new bath (plumbed in), plastered walls, lots of rubble and dust absolutely every bloody where but it will be worth it I hope

Just booked my recurrent MC appt online - no appts at the Royal Free which was one of my options, so I went for my local hospital which can see me on June 3rd !! So pleased I have so little time to wait ..

MLS unfortunately DH has another exam on tuesday so no time for "making icecubes" or BD practice! But the plan is DH passes this exam first time then gets to come home a little more often as he won't have as much studying to do. We should get to find out where he's working as from August soon, hopefully not as far away (he moves area every 6 months).

MLS Hope you get your +ive. We managed 2 successful attempts but no champagne or fluffy anything! I still haven't had a +ive so am hopng for one tomorrow as I don't want all that work to be wasted! I didn't get up until 11 today -was bliss. (I'll be up at the usual 6am again tomorrow though!)

Scorpio so not long to wait now til your scan, and I sympathise about your dh; mine is the same whenever I have my baby wobbles he just says 'it will be fine'. He can totally accept what the doctors said that it 'probably won't happen next time' whereas I'm obsessed by the fact that it will. Men just think so differently!

Impressed by your two 'goes'. I'm confused as my opk yesterday was almost positive but the one today was negative. I had one more opk to do tomorrow but can you believe I've lost the bloody thing in my bedroom somewhere today! I really hope I've not missed the egg-boat but I bd'd today & Thursday so hopefully will be in with a chance.

Off upstairs to hunt for the missing opk now & then an early night.
