Sorry AF got you Yellow

Sounds like you had a great time at Paul Mckenna Cindy Also remember it might take a while for your cycle to get back to normal, I had MC at same sort of time to you and it took around 3 to 4 months for everything to really get back to normal.

DH and i have organised something rather maverick this weekend. I am going to join him for a long weekend in the US (4 nights) I am really excited although nervous as have never left the kids for more than 1 night, but i know they will be fine as they will be with their Grandparents being spolit rotton. My concern is that if I have been successful this month I will be flying in early stages of PG (does this matter?) Also, I will have to leave DH there so will miss my fertile window he will return after ovulation. But sod it, sometimes I feel that TTC can take over your life and you have to enjoy yourself and I think that it will do us good to have a kid free few days it has been 5 years since we have done anything like this!

yellowflowers · 08/06/2009 10:28

cindy - pleased you are so positive.

pinky - that sounds fab!

My ovulation day this month is likely to be my first wedding anniversary - a sign or what!!! (well, probably not a sign - but still, will def be some BDing going on).

x

Heya

C1ndy PM sounds FAB. Details please, and good luck. And sorry AF is misbehaving, hope she arrives soon.

Hellow yellow my AF buddy

Joolsiam · 08/06/2009 11:24

Hi Cindy - the Paul McKenna stuff sounds really interesting - I would love to hear more

Sorry about AF Yellow

Well, it is groundhog day over here. I have tried every trick in the book since Tues / Wed but BD is just not working for DP so unless by some miracle I get PG with the withdrawal method, this is going to be a pretty fruitless 2WW

I just don't know what else to try - may have to resort to reading some books on how to improve your sex life.

I am frustrated and so, so angry and disappointed but trying hard not to show it in case that makes things even worse - trying to focus on the fact that I have another month to lose weight but that doesn't help at the mo because the scales haven't moved in 3 weeks, despite me being ultra good - aaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhh

C1NDY · 08/06/2009 11:25

Pinky and Yellow its early days but I am really am positive about PM, I am know that his system make sense and that I have been stupid for dieting for so long. But as they say the proof is in the pudding... so I will bore you all and share the results. The system is great because if I get pg I can still use the principles but to remember to listen to my body (i.e. if the body needs to eat more!)

kitty get his book on amazon with his CD, and have a read, the book is now about £6 -£10 pounds so its fairly cheap. Read the book, give it a go and hopefully you will be inspired like 'Me'

I think AF has arrived... sorry for tmi, I have started to spot again... can't wait for it to start proberly, so that I can start counting the days to bd!!

Hi all!

Sorry AF came yellow I thought this might be your month.

c1ndy good that Paul Mckenna was inspiring I do know someone who used his method sucessfully. And it is alway a good thing to ditch the diets

pinky weekend away sounds fab! very jealous!

No news from me - except that I keep thinking I am spotting symptoms - but I don't think I can be PG this month - but am 100 times worse than I was before the MC in rems of looking for things - especially as I remember what the signs were

Anyway - I don't even know how long this cycle will be - but am CD24 today... Am hoping it will be approx 30 days... Hating this waiting thing...

anyway - big wave to you all xx

C1NDY · 08/06/2009 11:37

Jools his seminar was brilliant... I have not thought of food since Saturday... I know that is not long but normally i eat and eat and eat and now I don't seem to be. I can EAT when I am hungry and then EAT what I want, I must remember to eat consciously and then STOP when I am full! easy eh! he did hypnotise etc.. but it was words of encouragement and he gives techniques to strengthen you against the times you are weak and want to eat for the sake of changing an emotion. I am never going to diet again... I honestly believe that diets are not the way to go...they make me fatter than I was before and also make me miserable... I feel liberated (probably brain washed) but I met so many people who have come back after losing loads of weight for another top up session... really it is so easy and such a good way as it makes you in tune with your body. But like I say it is early days for me but I will stick to the system (this is not a diet plan! its a way of life). Wish someone had told me long ago, I would be thin now. Go out and buy the book and give it a go... I know I am going to be amazed like you will be!!

Pinkyblue123 · 08/06/2009 12:05

Inspiring stuff Cindy jools I definately think TTC can have an adverse affect on your sex life, as it seems less spontenious. It is a difficult one trying to find the balance, especially if you have been TTC for a while.

iggypiggy · 08/06/2009 12:52

Jools - must have x-posted! Was just wondering - might there be other things you could try? Am not sure if this is a silly suggestion - and am v. sorry if seems rude - am meaning it in helpful way... but could you try a kind of 'turkey baster' approach? ie. without actually having sex?

sorry - that doesn't read well - but someone on another thread was doing this... can't remember where/ why? But could at least take the pressure off for a month?

yellowflowers · 08/06/2009 13:15

okay I maybe going mad but boobs hurt and period still light so I just peed on a cheapie and there was within a couple of mins the faintest of faint lines on it.

Does this mean that it was a chemical pregnancy and the bleeding is it ending?Or could it mean I am pregnant and one of those women who bleeds? The first of these is most likely isn't it, especially as temp now way below cover line?

All a bit confusing though. Going out later - may have to bite the bullet and buy a digital

Pinkyblue123 · 08/06/2009 13:42

Wow Yellow I really don't know, I am not sure what a chemical pregnancy is. A line is a line and so it does suggest you are PG, but that does not fit with the temp drop, unless your progesterone levels are low....I would get yourself down to oyur GP and see if they can shed light on it.
Some women do have period like bleeding and are still PG

I really hope that it means you are Pregnant, I have eveything crossed for you xx

yellowflowers · 08/06/2009 14:02

Thanks pinkie. I think on balance I am probably can't get to gp for next few days and then going on holiday but I guess I'll know soon enough won't I as line would get darker tomorrow and temp would have to go back up.

Joolsiam · 08/06/2009 14:03

Implantation dip ? and implantation bleeding perhaps ??

Pinkyblue123 · 08/06/2009 14:34

Yellow you could try one of the whizz bang digital tests and see what result that has, I have everything crossed!

yellowflowers · 08/06/2009 15:18

silly me - thatwas of course meant to read in last post that I think I am not pregnant, not that think I am. IU mean temp dip and bleeding right - that means not pregnant. Having been out for an hour and back home now though the cheapie test is def still showing a faint line, darker than it was before I left though still very faint.

So why didn't I buy a digital... er, I am scared maybe? I don't know...

yellowflowers · 08/06/2009 15:34

just looked at my chart jools - if it was implantation bleeding then it is 14 days after I think I ovulated, though remember I did also have a positive opk a week after that as well though by then my temp had already been above cover line for a week.

C1NDY · 08/06/2009 15:38

Yellow do you what you feel right to do... a digital one will take the guessing game out of it

Jools I understand where your coming from, routine etc... my DH got quite fedup with it... I use to wait for him, with one thing on my mind... gettting the deal 'done'. But I had to explain to him that this is what we both want and to get there this is what we must do... like it or not he needs to understand... its pressure for us too! I do try and dressed up a little and wear a different negligee, so it didn't feel that it was only a quick slap and tickle!! heehhee It is annoying we can't have it on tap when we want it!!

C1NDY · 08/06/2009 15:39

My AF hasn't arrived, just spotted and nothing! bl*dy pssed off... gone home in a huff!! Speak to you all tomorrow Cindy x

OP posts:
Joolsiam · 08/06/2009 15:41

Yellow - I have had implantation bleeding at 6 and 14DPO before - same pregnancy ....

Joolsiam · 08/06/2009 15:43

Cindy - my first AF 35 days after the later MC started was bright red / pink spotting that barely stained a panty liner and went on for 8 days - presumably decidual bleeding from an anovulatory cycle.

I then went on to have a normal cycle but ov'ed a few days later - and I could really really feel it. Maybe the same is happening to you ?

yellowflowers · 08/06/2009 15:47

Thanks - not leaving house again today but may buy one tomorrow if bleeding still light. Anyone's guess how many internet cheapies I pee on before then (unit price about 20p a stick).

Jools - one thing I have fond has made a difference for BD is to ensure I do it with my dh during non fertile times - that way he doesn't feel it's just for a baby. And the other day (TMI ALERT) for the first time in ages I gave him oral with no expectation of having sex after (though in the end we did) as I want him to know it's not just for a baby.

Cindy - so annoying for you. Hope everything sorts itself out.

C1NDY · 09/06/2009 08:56

Yellow If your anything like me your use the whole darn batch you have!! A line is a line... so you never know but the bleeding is a concern.

Jools This is my second cycle, my first one after MC came on time and lasted a little over 6 days... normally mine are 5 days but days 4 and 5 are very light. I have had a smear of bleeding today so I am hoping AF will arrive perhaps today. It is very frastrating!
