Molliemooma · 20/04/2009 11:16

EI Bet you are feeling really shite at the moment, sending you a huge hug hun, what sort of HPT was it? Was it a reliable one? How many DPO do you think you are at the moment? Temperature still rising is a good thing though
Fruity Depends if you want strong colours or not. How about sage which would go with the woodland theme. Or a chocolate colour. Or a soft pink although I like the sage one next to the pale pink, especially the pink flowers?

Can't you tell I'm off work today Felt really rough this morning, ms kicked in last night, which has upset my IBS so decided to take the day off and rest. But I love looking for wedding stuff really takes my mind off it

Molliemooma · 20/04/2009 11:18

Oh bugger the pink one didn't work, hang on I'll try again

scully · 20/04/2009 12:31

Teehee, Noah is gorgeous Sounds like your labour dragged on in the early stages, you did well to not be too tired and do it all without drugs.
Love the dress Fruity & the venue. I used to work close by to Hatton Garden, used to love looking in the windows at all the gorgeous jewellery
Hope everything is ok Ei, have you done any other tests?
Had an awful morning today, both dd's did their best to wind me up and each other. Didn't help that I had a blood test this morning that meant I couldn't eat until I got home at 9am. I just had no patience for them, not that they were listening to me a lot of the time. Feel awful I was so cross most of the morning but some days.......

SmilingEi · 20/04/2009 18:48

hey ladies
im not hopeful for this one as i did another test this morning with FMU and it was BFN i have pains and im now expecting to lose this one too temp was very high this morning too so i was not expecting a BFN at all just looks like im never going to get there at this rate i know thats such a selfish thing to say given that i already have a DD and i am sooo grateful for that but its such a kick in the arse for this to happen again
anywho im gonna try to not bring everyone down with me if i can so rant over (for now)
xx ei xx

SparklyPseudonym · 20/04/2009 19:25

Ei Please don't give up hope. I really think FF has ovulation wrong for you and so high temps at 10 and 11dpo could be the start of something good. Will keep all crossed for you. Lots of love xxx
Scully Don't feel guilty for being cross - it's so difficult when you know you're not being listened to. Hoping for a better day for you tomorrow.
Mollie Hope you're not feeling too awful this evening my lovely.
Fruity Wow - you really are making progress with the wedding - I love the colour suggestions and your dress. How was your first day back at work?
Teehee As I've said before, Noah is stunning and I'd love a cuddle. Amazed at your birthing story - all that time without pain relief - and no stitches too. You really are wonder woman. Please give me lots of tips!!
Ray Lovely news from your scan. Fingers tightly crossed that the next few weeks pass without any worries.
Georgie How are you feeling today? [hugs]. I'm sure it's just a phase and you'll soon be top dog again...kids are so funny with choosing their favourites. I remember my niece wouldn't even allow me to sit next to her in the car and it used to make me feel so - sounds stupid but the little buggars know how to take control and hit you where it hurts.
Mibbes How is the flu? Hope you're feeling better.
No word from Emmsy for a while. I think she's been away on holiday?
Piper Any goss from you lady? How is the sickness?
Cricri Elise is looking lovely as always.
Bella Glad you had a good time at the wedding.
Lola You've been in my thoughts so much today. xx
Jaamy Any news from you?

Right I think that's everyone - sorry if I've missed you.

My tummy feels odd today but wondering if I'm over reacting a bit because of MORE spotting on Friday and the scan and a bit more on Sunday. Next scan is a week tomorrow - god I hope I make it there and can eventually start to relax. DD has picked up on what's going on and has gone baby mad....would hate to break her heart.

BellaHarry · 20/04/2009 19:44

Ei don't worry yet, and don't apoologise for 'ranting' that's what we're here for!keep ranting and keep testing (well give it a few dates in case dates are out) Sending hugs ((( )))

piper84 · 20/04/2009 23:30

Hi Ladies

Ei sorry to hear about your bfn just to say though that in this pregnancy I got a BFP with a cheapie asda test first and then went on to get 2 BFNs with clearblue (one in the evening and one with fmu) before finally getting another BFP on a tesco cheapie. I have fingers and toes and everything crossed that it is the same for you xxx

Sparkly no goss here still as sick as a dog Glad to say it is finally starting to ease.Still no word on my 12 week scan so going to doctors on wednesday to see can I sort it out. at spotting but you are safely by the twelve weeks now and have a few great scans under your belt, hopefully after the next scan you will be able to relax a bit (this coming from the girl who panics when the sickness leaves for even an hour pot - kettle - black

Fruity your dress is fab! when is your wedding? (sorry preg brain)

mollie how is the ms?

Big waves to everyone else

time for bed

ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz

scully · 21/04/2009 02:26

Fingers crossed things work out Ei, can understand your frustration though, hopefully the days are just a bit out. Poor you Piper, still feeling ill, but at least it's giving you reassurance and hopefully will ease off soon.
dd1 is back at school today so I'm having a peaceful day at home with dd2. Waiting for the washing to finish so I can hang it out and will start on dinner, but want to watch Dr Phil as he is interviewing the octoplets mum 28wks today, so that means I'll finish work in around 8wks, all sounding quite soon really
Bought another box of newborn nappies, a sheepskin insert for the pram and a drink holder for the pram on Sunday, and dh and I picked out the drawers we are getting for dd2's room. The ones I was going to the layby the other week they wouldn't let me because they were clearance stock, so I've found some other ones instead, that come assembled, so one less job for dh.
Anyone else who has a 6-7yr old girl, is she full of backchat currently?

scully · 21/04/2009 02:30

Forgot to say Georgie, no, I have no idea whether it's a boy or a girl. Thought dd2 was a boy and clearly got that wrong but have no feeling really about this one. I feel bigger than I did with the girls, but that could well be the fact it's dc3.
How was your first day back at work Fruity, don't know how you do it, looking after other people's children and being sleep deprived as well, I know for a fact I would struggle

FruitynNutty · 21/04/2009 10:02

Morning!

Thought I'd better catch up on here while my little Benjamin Button (I must have known he was going to be a wrinkly thing while pregnant!) is sleeping

1st of all, Ei I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, how's your temp today? Have you tested again this morning?
Sparkly Sorry about the spotting but like Piper says, you have some great scans under your belt and almost in your second trimester
Scully Loving all the preparations you're making for DC3 What pram have you got? (you know me! I do love my wheels!)
only 8 weeks of work
Work yesterday was quite stressful but I reckon once Jack gets into a better routine it will become much easier. There's just no telling when he's going to have a tantrum right now so I'm usually in the middle of making the kids tea or it's when I have 101 things to do - he'll learn! haha
Bella I think you have given me that link before as I've saved it in my bookmarks under "Rings-Bella" I'm just a little worried about the price. I'm thinking we may need to use string instead of rings, haha. How are you feeling? a little brighter? How's the nursery getting on now it's been plastered? Or shouldn't I ask?

Thank you so much everyone for your colour ideas. I love the sage/mint green idea! It's so hard to tell isn't it. I should be getting a swatch of the fabric in 3 weeks time so I will be able to match up colours a little easier.

I keep thinking, have I made the right decision opting for the light gold dress? Please tell me I have! I did love it in ivory (they only had it in stock in ivory) but I tried on so many other dresses in light gold and it did suit my skin and hair better. But will I regret not going for the traditional colour?

I've just skim read my post natal thread and can you believe there is someone pregnant again already!!!! Her baby was born 17 days before Jack! How the f* is that possible? How can anyone want to have sex so soon? She must be one horny lady! haha.

Right, going out now with the kiddies to enjoy this glorious weather!

teeheelaydee · 21/04/2009 11:11

OMG Fruity How on earth can someone be pg already (well obviously I know how but ) I think a gold dress is lovely and will be with you woodland/fairish theme. I also thought green, brown, burgundy for bridesmaids - anything rich and I think your wedding is September so autumnal colours would be great. I loved the chocolate brown dress that Mollie posted.

Scully Baby preparations sound like they are really hotting up now. I cannot believe you only have 8 weeks of work left. Your pg seems to have gone so quickly - not to you I'm sure. By what you and Georgie seem to be experiencing I'm quite glad I had a boy! They sound 7 going on 17!

Sparkly Arrrrrgh at your spotting. I am sure with those scans showing ALL positive that your chances of a problem are so slim now.

Ei I have everything crossed for you, Piper seemed to have some positive experience. How are things looking today?

Piper Really hope you sickness is on the way out. Have you come to terms with the twins thing yet? Must be exciting but terrifying.

Mollie Bring on the morning sickness You won't have time to wobble with your head down the loo

Hello to everyone else - trying to keep up and have been able to have the odd read but no chance to post so may have missed something important.

Everything here is fine - I am knackered, well we both are really. Noah's cord looks like it is on the way out - thank goodness - Yuk! It is horribly smelly - I thought babies were supposed to smell sweet!!

SmilingEi · 21/04/2009 13:28

hi ladies
hope everyone is ok
im feeling a little more positive today as i have started to feel na little queasy and was totally off my tea this morning also i am feeling so tired aswell so fingers crossed that things are ok (im 5 weeks tomorrow i have to get past friday and i will be the furthest i have gotten so far)
hope everyone else is doing ok
xx ei xx

BellaHarry · 21/04/2009 18:28

Ei that sounds promising and it must be good to hear that others have had a similar experience with the irregular p test readings. I really hope everyhthing is fine for you too!

Teehee smelly belly buttons yuk! lol never thought about that. When I was 3 I used to csay that my little sister's belly stub was scrunched up newspaper! I truly believed it was too! does it bear any resemblance at all?

Fruity you derserve a medal being surrouded by all those littlens and your own! I am feling a little better, back at work so lots to do and no time to get lonely (which is wehn my paranoia kicks in). The nursery will be painted when DH says it's time! I don't dare ask as I'll be accused of 'pushing', slowly slowly that's hos style! And I'd be in all sorts of trouble if I attempted to start ....pheew that turned in to a rant. Sorry x P.S I think Gold!

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 21/04/2009 19:53

Evening you gorgeous bunch of ladies. Just a quick one from me as my sciatic nerve keeps getting pinches today and everytime I sit down it's agony.

Ei Hope the PMA stays with you my love. I can vividly remember the waves fo panic i felt when I got pg this time round. Fingers crossed that this could be the start of a good bout of MS for you!

Sparkly Have things calmed down with you? Hope the tummy ache and spotting have stopped. God, you've had an emotional ride already haven't you.

Fruity Would def go with gold dress and like Mollie said, autumnal colours would work beautifully. There's some really amazing autumnal colour roses that you can have in your bouquets. God, I LOVE a good wedding!!

Scully DD2 being a pain. DD1 not so bad! Swings and roundabouts here. They seem to pass the baton of good behaviour between them.

TeeHee Wow, amazing birth story. But hooray for you for getting all the way thru on a Tens machine. Give Noah a little kiss from me.

Lola Got off the sun lounger you lazy mare!!!

Bella Glad you're feeling more upbeat. Keep us posted though if you need a whinge/cry/moan. Better out than in!

Mollie How's the MS? Racking up or still manageable? Are you back at work? Any news on an early scan or are you just keeping it under your hat?

I've got the dreaded Glocose Tolerance test tomorrow. I'm bricking it. I had Ges Diabetes with DD1 (but not DD2) and I DO NOT want it again. I hated every minute of having to control my diet and was bloody starving (they had me on an 1800 cal per day diet). Mond you, this was in New York, so hopefully a bit more humane over here.

Right, must move before I seize up completely. xxx

iris66 · 21/04/2009 21:12

sorry to gatecrash...
Georgie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good luck with the GTT hon. I go next week to (hopefully) be signed off the endo register as no sign of GD here - we're having a girl btw will keep fingers crossed for you xxx

HerNameWasLola · 21/04/2009 23:15

Hello all, did you miss me (Although I know Mollie didn't )

Sorry to have been awol, a number of things really, work, life in general, stinking cold, and the anniversary of when we lost Thomas. Doing ok though, felt more reflevtive than sad in some ways. Kept thinking about how much has happened in the last year and how far we've come, and tried not to think that he should be here sharing it with us - if he was we wouldn't have the little one I'm carrying now, and how could I ever choose between my babies?

Anyway...

Georgie you still a pain in the arse?? (hahaha...) Hope it goes soon, you'll have to ask Tedwood to shift over a bit. Think she'll oblige?!? Good luck for tomorrow. Bleurghhhh!

Mollie good luck tomorrow lovely, will be thinking of you, don't let them give you any nonsense!

Teehee am in awe of how much you're managing to post! Thank you for your text last night, was very well timed. Will go to the post office tomorrow... Hope you like it!

Fruity you're back at work! Can't believe that girl is pg again, makes me feel a bit ill actually... what on earth?!? Gold sounds great to me, am a bit biased towards the brown bridesmaid option, if you look on fb you'll see why

Ei still keeping everything crossed for you lovely. Good to see Piper had a similar experience, maybe that means it's twins?? Hope Friday comes quickly for you. xx

Cricri I keep meaning to log on to fb to see your new photos and forgetting... Really glad to hear life seems to be treating you well though

Mibbes how's the bf now? REALLY hope it's not still painful! Still think you're superwoman for sticking at it for so long, though now teehee is vying (sp?) for your crown with a 2.5 day labour on tens only! (still can'y believe you did that Em!!!)

Bella glad you're feeling a little brighter. Can we have a pic of the new pink cardie please?

Piper glad to hear the ms is easing, bet it feels like it's gone on forever. Good luck with getting your scan appt. Am assuming they don't offer nuchals then?!?

Scully glad you're managing to get things sorted I saw your bump pics the other day, you look fab! And that's one good looking family you've got there!

Sparkly you on your way to london yet?

Hello to Jaamy & Ray, hope you're both having a good week

Not sure when I'll be posting next, have an HORRENDOUS day on thursday, then we're off to a 30th bday party on friday before we go on holiday on sat! It's a tough life! Will probably end up posting while we're out there, will certainly be lurking if I possibly can. And I want only good news on my return, or there will be trouble. Ok?!? [rgin] Lots of love to all. xx

BellaHarry · 22/04/2009 08:55

Lola cute pink cardi!! aaw

scully · 22/04/2009 12:00

Cardi is very cute I was thinking that when I was sorting through the dd's baby clothes, how cute the baby girl clothes are. I will miss that if we have a boy, although I will be happy to have a few different hormones in the house when they are all older
Hope Friday comes soon for you Ei
Have a lovely holiday Lola
I have my glucose test on Friday Georgie, can't remember having one with the dd's. Also have my m/w appt Friday morning, deciding whether I can be bothered going to work afterwards, I'll probably only be there for about 3hrs.
dd1's birthday tomorrow, can't believe she is 7 already. Had better go and wrap her present (Nintendo ds lite), now they are both sleeping.

SparklyPseudonym · 22/04/2009 14:05

Afternoon ladies,
Have had my NT results by post....Adjusted risks are as follows.
Trisomy 21 - 1/20020
Trisomy 18 - 1/46544
Trisomy 13 - 1/146629

Another reason for me to relax but don't think I will . 6 more sleeps until next scan. Am not sure how I'll survive between 14 and 20 weeks...
Scully Happy birthday to you DD and good luck with glucose test.
Lola No but I wish I was . Sorry tomorrow isn't going to be a nice day but you have a lovely holiday to look forward to. Who will I text every few hours when I panic?!
Georgie Spotting has stopped (for now). Had awful pains in my thighs last night and tummy felt crampy. Am wondering when it's going to get easy. Lots of luck with glucose test.
Ei Just had a look at your chart and lovely temp today. Come on lady..time to test again.
Teehee Am impressed that you're managing to post. Has N's cord dropped off yet? Are you going to keep it ?
Fruity No plans from you for number three yet then?
Piper We'll get there. Let me know when you get your scan date. Hope you don't have to wait too much longer.
Mollie Take it easy lovely.

SmilingEi · 22/04/2009 14:20

hi ladies
my temp keeps climbing but i had another BFN this morning on a CBD so im pretty sure getting a BFP is out for me now i just wish it would bloody hurry up so i can get the HSG (i might aswell have it while its scheduled for me) and get on with TTC again!! its totally pushing me over the edge now as im now questioning whether my BFP might have been ov hormones reacting and i have actually confused myself anhd totally missed the boat what do you guy think??
sparkly lovely results there its the only thing that is making me smile today
lola i want a holiday
hope everyone else is ok
xx ei xx

Molliemooma · 22/04/2009 14:24

Piper How did you get on bollocking seeing the doctor about your scan?
TeeHee Yuck at smelly cord How is the lovely Noah? How are you coping with George's confinement?
EI Temps still going up, fantastic! Hope everything is still OK, have you done any more tests or are you going to wait til the weekend?
Georgie Ouch at Tedwood giving you such pain, that's downright mean! How is the idolisation of DH by DD going
Hope the GTT went well today?
Lola Who's Lola Cheeky madam, you know that wasn't what I meant the other night! Have a fantastic holiday, kick back relax and enjoy, glad you had a reflective day Monday, and you'll be away for the next anniversary, so I really hope that passes just as kindly to you both.
Sparkly Chuffed to bits your results were nothing to worry about, you really don't need anything else to stress you out

Big wave to everyone else

I went to GP today, didn't go quite as planned I only managed to sit down and blurt out "I'm pregnant" before promptly bursting into tears! Since the ms kicked in on Sunday I've found it harder to deny that I'm pg, been very emotional (I don't think work is helping as its v stresful at the moment) and keep waking up every morning thinking is today going to be the day my baby dies and I'm not going to know about it? These 2 weeks are my danger zone when I've the lost the others so I'm being a bit of a wet lettuce, but as my blood pressure was up GP signed me off for a week. At least work are going to take one of the two jobs off me when I return so if nothing else it's done good there

Molliemooma · 22/04/2009 14:25

EI Cross posts, so sorry to hear you got another BFN, wonder what on earth is going on Surely you would have had AF by now if it was another CP? Is it worth contacting your GP for advice?

SmilingEi · 22/04/2009 14:37

ahh mollie good news the gp has signed you off i cant even get in to see my gp til next week as they can only offer me daytime appointments until then!! bloody stupid!! the gp will probably fob me off and make me feel stupid!! im so confused!! im expecting to see blood everytime i pop the loo[tmi sorry] and when it isnt there i dont know what to think!! it is totally doing my head in now
xx ei xx

BellaHarry · 22/04/2009 15:07

Ei I'm so confused for you, it must be a horrible waiting time. Can you ask your doc for an emergency apt early am?/late surgery hours I've phoned mine at 6 and been seen at 6:30 because I said it was an emergency??

Mollie Good luch with the bp and I really feel for you; bursting in to tears in the GP office, was he/she sympathetic?

Great stats Sparky fab news and wow another scan soon too!

Scully the girly clothes are very cute, I'm a big fan of the little summer romper suits in Mothercare! Soooo cute

Well I have the wiggliest baby, she is flipping and kicking all over the place! I found she likes lemon fanta and always puts on a show if I drink it!

piper84 · 22/04/2009 16:52
