Just a quick one to say I'm not going out now on Sat night so happy to meet at whatever time
Oh and thanks for the birthday wishes! Ive spent most of this evening still blubbing - don't know what's wrong with me, maybe hormonal, perhaps AF's on the way. No idea when to expect it, it's been nearly 13 weeks since birth but knowing my cycles I might not get it until this time next year!
Goodnight everyone, in need of sleeeeeeeeeep

scully · 16/06/2009 03:30

Don't worry about turning 30 Fruity, I will be 39 in September . You're doing well to have 2 children by the time your 30, I had dd1 when I 31.5! Sounds like your dp made a big effort for your bday, what a nice weekend.
Had a lovely lunch with our friend on Sunday, dh made such a big lasagne we had it for dinner last night as well, he'll be doing another one so we can freeze it for when the baby arrives.
Currently have dd2 rabbiting on about nothing in particular, next to me, wish I could record her and put her on here But she's happy and not asking me for something to eat (usual question) so that's the main thing
I'm very envious about your meet up, especially with how cheap the airfares are right now Don't suppose I could hide this 36wk bump though
Nice to hear from you Piper, are you feeling very large already, with 2 cooking in there? My dh uses that sea water spray as well and finds it good.
Completely understandable how you feel Ei, I would feel a bit miffed at times as well, if I had to read about all this pregnancy malarky all the time, hopefully won't be long now for you.
Hope the stitch removal goes ok Georgie and doesn't set off any premature action
I'm having a quiet day at home today, nice and sunny and have caught up on things around the house.

just a quicky, will post properly later on, have some bump and nursery pics up if anybody interested

BellaHarry · 16/06/2009 12:59

ooh Piper wicked pics! looks like you have the same cots as me? x

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 16/06/2009 13:38

Woooooooo hooooooo. The stitch is out. Phew. It hurt like a bastard. I KNEW something wasn't right with it. it had become too tight due to LO pressure/weight on it and had started growing into my cervix. As you can imagine, it wasn't nice having it removed. But gas and air helped . Am back home now. Had some pretty good BH at the hospital, but don't think anything will happen for a while.

Birthday a complete write off and have house stuff to concentrate on. But it just gives me more ammunition for next year when I hit the big 4-0. Where I shall party til I puke!!!

Right, I'm off on site to climb some ladders to see whether anything happens .

XXXXX

FruitynNutty · 16/06/2009 20:18

Piper beautiful bump! I wonder how big you'll get
Scully mmmmmmm Lasagne! Not sure it's allowed on the GI diet
Georgie I hope you're having a wonderful birthday, glad all went well with the stitch removal
Ooh big 4-0, can I add that to my events? You've just got to have a party!

I tell you what, when you start to feel more normal when Tedwood arrives we must have a girls night out. In fact, that goes for all you lot. Especially Bella as you also live very near

I'm starving, DP cooking a delicious Thai green curry, smells to die for!

scully · 17/06/2009 05:35

2 cots in your pictures Piper, that would scare me, in a good way
I'm also 40 next year Georgie, not sure I'm as enthusiastic about it as you though Stitch doesn't sound pleasant at all but good that it's out now and the bh have calmed down.
Feeling knackered now, having been to the hairdresser this morning, followed by the post office, kmart, grocery shopping and unpacking it all when I got home......& now I need to leave to pick up dd1 from school and dd2 from daycare. Enjoyed my childfree day at home though, as I normally work on a Wed so dd2 still went to daycare, much to her dismay.
Tomorrow is dd1's sports carnival but I'm not going for all of it, don't think I'll last, will try for the last 2 or so hours though, when the sprints are on.

SparklyPseudonym · 17/06/2009 15:09

Very quick one from me. Have had a manic day and now have to rush and collect degree results - boo.
On a brigher note, all fine at the scan today. They had some problems checking the heart but eventually managed to get a clear view. Also saw something very obvious between the legs. Yep, it's a boy.... x

FruitynNutty · 17/06/2009 19:08

Woohoo Sparkly a beautiful baby boy! Don't forget the scan pics on Saturday! Talking of which, just checked the weather on BBC and it's supposed to be sunny interval (please no rain, please no rain, please no rain) Any name ideas Sparkly? Or are you keeping it to yourselves? I'm terrible, everyone knew Jack's name from about 25 weeks! It would have been earlier but we couldn't decide.

Ooh scully a child free day! I can only dream I hope you're not planning on sprinting!

I'm so looking forward to our meet up on Sat. I'm also looking forward to trying on Teehee's baby carrier. I'm now being tempted by a Mei Tai (sp?) now, decisions decisions.
My friend had a baby boy this morning - so, guess where I was this afternoon? Yes, of course, M&P! I cannot resist. Bought a gorgeous little romper suit for him
They've got a sale on at the moment mostly a third off but some things are half price! There's not a lot reduced but gotta take advantage anyway

So, who are we expecting on Sat?

Me
Sparkly
Teehee
cricri
Ei?
Lola

C'mon Bella and Georgie, just for an hour?

SparklyPseudonym · 17/06/2009 19:27

I GOT A 2.1 [GRIN]

FruitynNutty · 17/06/2009 19:32

wahay! Two lots of good news in one day! Congratulations Sparkly! You must be on cloud nine today

teeheelaydee · 17/06/2009 21:00

This has got to be quick as need to dry my hair but could not let Sparkly's fantastic news go uncommented and seeing as I am now thinking I've posted and then find I haven't thought I'd best get on with it. (Fruity and Georgie in my addled brain I had already wished you both a Happy Birthday)

So, back to the point - Congratulations on your marvellous degree mark and that lovely scan. A Boy! That is just fantastic and glad that all is well. You're on the home stretch now lovely. A Boy! A Boy! A Boy! Good news too as it evens things up a bit as there are quite a few girlies on the way.

A child free day Scully that must be pretty unusual for you - sounds like you squeezed the most into it though. So, will you be taking part in the parents sprint tomorrow

Georgie Glad the stitch is out, no ladders though remember. Would be lovely to see you on Saturday if you can play hookey for a couple of hours.

Fruity Please do not tell me that there is a sale at M&P. The prices are the only thing that keep me out of there and Noah is growing out of some of his clothes and is not yet big enough for most of the others. MUST stay away.

N seems to be having a grizzly couple of days, although honestly I think my definition on grizzly is a bit wimpish tbh. Of course as soon as my Mum noticed that he had a bit of a tummy ache she said to him "Oh you poor thing, what's Mummy been eating to upset you?" Gee thanks Mum! Hopefully he will be back to being Mr Sunshine for our trip on Saturday.

Molliemooma · 17/06/2009 21:36

Just a quickie as it's way past my bedtime
Sparkly Get your scan picture on here right now you have to share, it's so cute and amazingly clear! Well done again on getting such a good result both times today, hope you are celebrating in style

Good news from us DH got a letter to say that they are withdrawing his redundancy so will be staying on for the foreseeable future Can't help wondering what's gonna go wrong though, there is a litte voice nagging at the back of my head!

Will be back tomorrow for a proper post, night all x

teeheelaydee · 17/06/2009 21:40

Mollie Repeat after me "nothing going to go wrong, nothing going to go wrong, nothing going to go wrong....."

Fantastic news about DH's job - go get that Bugaboo now! Mind you for anyone in the market for a pram I love love love the icandy cherry. I think v/similar to the Buzz but lighter and definitely not as wide.

cricri · 17/06/2009 22:28

A quick post from me just to say congratulations to Sparkly, you must be so thrilled, on both counts! A boy - DD will be delighted to have a little brother won't she?
Georgie Glad the stitch came out OK but sounds horrendously painful. Hope you put your feet up today
Mollie Lovely news about DH's job, what a relief for you. Teehee is right though, PMA! Nothing is going to go wrong.
Scully Hope you enjoyed your child-free day.
Teehee at your mum's comment. They know how to push the right buttons don't they? She probably didn't even think about what she was saying. Hope Noah is back to his usual happy self very soon, it's horrible when they're out of sorts isn't it, especially when you don't know why.
Hello to everybody I've missed and night night all!

SmilingEi · 17/06/2009 22:45

hi ladies
just a quickie to say...
YAY sparkly!!! congrats on your 2.1 and amazing news that you are having a boy!! what did i say the other day!! whatever you dream you are having you will be having the opposite brilliant!!

xx ei xx

scully · 18/06/2009 00:55

Bugger, I had a dream the other day that I was having a boy, so that does mean I'm having anther girl? We're hardly going to be disappointed, but a boy would be nice, to break up the hormones a little as they all get older & for the naming as well, no idea what to call it if it is a girl.....
Mind you, I get all soppy whenever I look at all the little pink clothes I have from the dd's that might not get worn again. Then I look at dd1 who is 7 going on 17 and am reminded of my future
Off to the sports carnival soon, thank god they don't do parents sprints here, can you imagine My 2nd childfree day of the week, although I do get to spend the afternoon with dd1, at least I don't have to keep dd2 from joining in on the activities
Congrats on the scan results Sparkly, a healthy little boy, how special & for your uni results as well.
Hi to everyone, have a nice sleep

FruitynNutty · 18/06/2009 09:11

Yes Scully tis true. You have the opposite of what you dream. I dreamt during both pregs that I was having a beautiful baby girl
Ei Sounds like you timed it just right then! I so hope this is it for you xx

scully · 18/06/2009 12:08

Hopefully you've got the timing just right this month Ei
Well my clever girl (dd1) came first again in her sprint race (50metres) so has been proudly showing everyone her first ribbon
& the other bonus was that she was all finished by 12.45pm so we could leave for the day.
Took her to the dentist this afternoon, going to the dentist sure has changed since I was 7. There is a flat screen on the ceiling for the kids to watch, the dentist and her assistant are so lovely, any wonder dd2 wants to have a proper examination (only happens from age 4)
Going here tomorrow. Never been to one of these shows, with any pregnancy, but as I have a free ticket, thought dd2 and I could go along. She will enjoy the Bob the Builder show and next door to the venue is the State Library, with a great play area, which hopefully we'll have time to visit.

piper84 · 18/06/2009 12:22

Sparkly WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO please hurry and get up the scan pic for us to have a nosey at congrats on your 2.1 as well have you any name ideas yet?
Ei I have everything crossable crossed for you this month
Mollie Brill news on DH not being made redundant , hope you have listened to Teehee and are chanting away
Scully hope you have a nice relaxing day at the sports carnival and are not particapating
Fruity am so M&P here neeeeeeeever have a sale and are soooooooooo expensive its not even funny

I am very confused so re dream theory, I have had dreams of boys and of girls, maybe I'm having one of each Think I may have a water infection coming on going to sit on a hot water bottle for a while and eat some chocolate

piper84 · 18/06/2009 12:23

oops also forgot to say happy birthday to Georgie and great to hear the stitch removal went good

mibbes · 18/06/2009 16:49

SparklyPseudonym · 18/06/2009 19:07

Quickie for Mibbes before battery dies.
TT came on at 830ish and finished at 1030ish. James Morrison support here and he was on for 745 (I think). You're in for such a treat!!

FruitynNutty · 18/06/2009 19:19

I'm extremely about the Take That gig. I used to follow them around hotels in London as a teenager Met them a few times. Robbie was a twat but other than that I adored them! Although would never let it show when in front of them - had to play it cool, we couldn't be seen to behave like the screaming "cravens"!
Ah, those were the days

SmilingEi · 18/06/2009 22:12

hi ladies
wow there are a few TT fans here me included as i go to see them a week on sunday!! cant wait!!
