OP posts:
BigBird · 03/07/2003 12:48

Good luck you two and everyone else. I'm day 10 now and started temping this month and also opk'ing yesterday. bd'd last night anyway just in case but no sign of the big O yet!

dot1 · 03/07/2003 13:24

only me - wishing everyone luck and some for myself - despite dodgy heartbeats/PCOS/thyroid stuff I'm having a go this weekend! It'll be day 11 + 12, but I usually ovulate early (I think!) so should be in with a chance..!

Bayleaf - how's things with you - is it nearly time for another go? I feel like I've lost the plot a bit on this thread!

luchar · 03/07/2003 16:24

Good luck Dot1, hope it works this time.

LucieB · 03/07/2003 17:10

Best of luck Dot and everyone else. Although am in early stages of pg, I am reluctant to leave this thread as its still very early days....

sibble · 03/07/2003 20:27

good luck everybody

bunny2 · 03/07/2003 22:50

Good luck this weekend Dot, you too Quackers and everybody else. Lets hope for at least one graduate this month to start the April 2004 thread.

quackers · 04/07/2003 08:59

That would be wonderful. We're getting there. There were 2 or 3 graduates last month! Did you manage to see any action this time bunny2? At least you've got a good idea of your 'window' now. Although since m/c my cycle has gone all scew wiff! It's gone from ov on day 15 to 13 and now 11! Good job I've got my trusty persona to back me up!! It's only my first month of trying after m/c so I shouldn't hold out hope but wouldn't it be just the business!!!

quackers · 04/07/2003 09:01

Oh forgot, Big bird - did you get your o day??

bunny2 · 05/07/2003 22:03

Hi Quackers, yes I got some action, thanks for asking . Unfortunately the fertility drug seems to have sparked off a rather unfortunate reaction, every morning (well, the last 2) I wake up covered in urticaria (hives). Its ugly and itchy. I can only think the Clomid is causing it as there are no other likely suspects. Hope I strike it lucky this month as I really dont want another clomid month. How did you do?

Egypt, how's it going?

hewlettsdaughter · 05/07/2003 22:40

Sorry to hear about the hives thing, bunny2. Hope it isn't getting you down too much.

quackers · 06/07/2003 09:45

What a pain! Hope you got lucky too! Well I have to say I'm getting more paranoid by the day. We did it on day 11 and 12 as I was ovulating and since day 14 I've had such achy boobs. I do get them with pmt so I'm not putting it down to pg just yet but my cycles are getting shorter and shorter which really worries me. Since m/c they have gone down now to about 24/25 days and have lutenising hormone day 9. If they get any shorter I'm scared I won't conceive and feel annoyed because last month was perfect, had the cervical mucus and evrything but dh wanted to wait one more month. SORRY I'm rambling but writing it down really helps and might ease these frustrations!!!

sibble · 06/07/2003 21:12

Hi Quackers, it's the countdown from "trying" to period day that sends you almost insane doesn't it. Hope it is good news for you this month, have fingers crossed for you (and everbody else). A m/c certainly messes your cycle up. Keep posting, am thinking of you. Am doing my test tomorrow if no period, have boobs like melons at the moment but am sure am not pregnant so if I knew how to do a sad face would probably post one tomorrow.

Egypt · 06/07/2003 22:20

Hi Bunny2
Sorry to hear about the hives thingy - never heard of it, but obv not nice. Let's hope you get lucky this month. Well, off to docs on Fri 11 July - just hoping that my P doesnt come until weds at the earliest, although I reckon it's going to come tomorrow - which is a miracle I can even tell as I have PCO as you know, and dont usually have Ps. Anyway - depending on blood results, he should give me the clomis and then we are away - providing I don't have P before or shall have to wait ANOTHER month. Don;t you just love all this waiting? Speak soon xx

Egypt · 06/07/2003 22:23

sp - clmomiD i mean!
Forgot to ask, on what day of your P did you start the clomid? was it day 3. If so, I've really got to hold it in until Weds!

bunny2 · 06/07/2003 23:18

Hi Quackers, HD, Sibble and Egypt and anyone else here ... the hives were not so bad today. Egypt, I started on day2 for 5 days. Good luck again to us all

jojo21 · 07/07/2003 00:31

just a good luck to all you girls! hope its a fertile night for you all

sibble · 07/07/2003 05:53

Well did test day early, one of those you can do up to 3 days earlier (fancied a glass of wine or two tonight!!), as expected was negative. (cannot do sad face!) So have put hold on flights home to cheer me up (imagine smiley face!) and will stop trying until I get back, will hopefully be coming back to UK from 23/8-19/9 depending on whether new job lets me have the month off they said I could have. Actually feel better now the pressure is off for a while am not entirely sure I am really to try after m/c, find the countdown from trying to period day too stressful, flip from being relatively "normal" to some kind of psycho. Will keep popping into thread to hopefully see everybody graduate to others threads and hopefully nobody will still be here in Oct when I return.
Good luck everybody

quackers · 07/07/2003 08:59

Oh Sibble , did it for you. You'll be sorely missed!!! If you still have no period in a couple of days try again. It's hard to know when is right after m/c but there'sonly so long you cann wait! I widh you the very best for your trip and look forward to speaking in OCT!!!!!!
LOL xxxxx

BigBird · 07/07/2003 11:29

I did have an O quackers thanks for asking. I had a +ve opk on friday (cd11), felt very achy on cd12 (ov pains?), had plenty of CM until cd13 and temp rose significantly this morning (cd 14). So we're all bd'ed out for this month methinks

I'm so glad I started all this stuff rather than just going the 'every 2 days for the entire cycle' route. It's a lot less work!!

Good luck to everyone waiting

quackers · 07/07/2003 13:04

Wow that was very technical! Think I know what you mean though!!!
Hope its successful for you!!! I've got to wait about 10/11 days yet. it's a real bummer waiting. I don't think I am though. Feel a bit moody and boobs sore.
Good luck all!

M2T · 07/07/2003 13:19

Sore boobs quackers..... a good sign surely?

jojo21 · 07/07/2003 15:32

while im also waiting for my lazy baby to come out (im 41+ weeks) im waiting for one of you luvly ladies to let me know that its happening for you too! all those sleepless nights cos your bump is in the way and you cant get comfy, sore & swollen ankles, bad back and ooh... sore nipples! and thats all the good stuff! just wait for the heartburn which makes you think you can breathe fire! but then theres the good stuff- baby showers, flowers and chocolates, life becomes an all you can eat buffet (well it did for me and i've put on 3stones ) i got a feeling in my bones that this time next week one of you will say 'guess what...im preggers' and i cant wait! keep trying girls dont let me down!

quackers · 07/07/2003 19:11
