baby - I share your pain. The frustrating thing is we all know we're doing it on the right days because of the machine and yet we're still not pregnant.... I also feel exactly how I normally feel when AF is imminent. So rant away, its good to have the compay to be honest

cyncan, I normally have a high CD 10 for 4 days unitl my peak of CD14. But all our bodies are different.

Waves to Salander. Hello! You're right about the no guarantees, I would feel so less stressed if someone said 'you will definitely be pregnant this year or in 2010'. But of course that's not going to happen!

cyncan · 22/07/2009 03:01

hey ladies. just stopping by to say hi, while all of you sleep...

i have been having awfully long days at work!! no time to dedicate to my mumsnet friends!

baby and engel keep the faith!

salender you are right, we can't start fixating on things... we will all go mental if we do.

we need a bfp from someone soon!

Hey girls,
Baking u a virtual cupcake each. Or mixing u a virtual woo woo! Think I'll go for the woo woo actually!
Engel and baby, I never have felt pregnant before 6-7 wks when I've actually been pregnant so u never know. It's rubbish that early preg symptoms can be so similar to af as well. Keep the faith, it cud be the mth still.
Salander how's ur first mth going? Did u get ur first pee on a stick instruction today? Are u doing it in a pot? People seem to say that's the best way.
Cyncan, how come work's so busy? is it a seasonal thing / busy time of year?
We've just got back from 4hrs scrambling over rocks at beach, great fun! We were all soaking, covered in mud and sand, had to undress in the porch then run to the shower!
Summoning the energy to cook tea soon...
Peak day for me today, getting some good bd'ing in! Everything crossed, except legs, for all of us
X

cyncan · 22/07/2009 18:13

trix make sure you don't cross your legs!! hahaha [wink}

What is a woo woo?

NewMember · 22/07/2009 20:07

Hi Ladies ...

Thought I would just stop by and say hello!

Day 12 for me (i think) so I am due to OV any day! Feeling a little more relaxed about TTC - taking each day as it comes!

Time will tell ... hope u r all well

cyncan · 23/07/2009 01:01

Hi newmember hope this new technique works for you! All the luck!!

salander · 23/07/2009 08:06

Hi girls, how are you all?

Trix - what IS a woo woo?!

Getting on ok with the whole POAS thing. Gone for the stick option, will see how it goes, simply cos too lazy to go find a pot most mornings!

Still very early days this month but also feeling more relaxed about the whole thing which i think is important. Also one of my friends just had a BFP after a YEAR! of trying so that has given me heart!

babyinacorner · 23/07/2009 08:30

Morning Salander - Woo woo is a cocktail, not sure what's in it! Good you are feeling relaxed about ttc, I think that is probably half the battle - shame I can't achieve it myself! By the way -I keep an egg cup in my bathroom cabinet so I always have a pot to pee in!

Trixel - thanks for the words of encouragement - there is still hope i suppose - I have had period pains on and off since ov so maybe that could be a sign.

Your beach scrambling sounds fun by the way! Hope you got some good action in on your peak day.

Engelbart -any symptoms developing? This has got to be the longest 2ww ever! I'm testing monday, how about you?

Cyncan - what's the news with you.

Newmember -hope you are still feeling relaxed as you approach peak day.

Peasoup -have you tested yet?

Morning everyone! Hello baby, don't think I will be early testing this month. Have period symptons off and on so expect AF will turn up on Wednesday (it always seems to be on a Wednesday . Trying to relax a bit more about the whole thing. Met a friend yesterday who has been trying unsuccessfully for 2 years .

How is everyone?

Morning girls. Sympathy ,engel, but you know its not over til AF actually appears....
On day 8 and no signs of any form of high for me, early days i guess.

I agree muchly that relaxing seems to be the way forward - think i read somewhere that stressing about ttc makes it even less likely to happen......no consolation and easier said than done, i know!

wow, 2 years . that puts it all in perspective!

cyncan · 24/07/2009 21:10

Hi Ladies!

Sorry to hear about AF engel she really is a witch! Hopefully she won't come!!!! Is your friend trying with CBFM too??

Salader I also only POAS on the stick no cups... it seemed to work well last month.

baby I could do a woo woo now!

Today is my CD12. Managed to bd last night!! DH very into baby making now. I won't pk till the 21st... so it is still a long way to go.. but will try to bd every other day till then.

I have finally purchased a long desired embroidery/sewing machine.. do any of you have one? I love doing crafts.. and am dreaming on doing my baby's cloths... hopefully soon!!!

xoxox and positive wishes to all of you.

Hello Ladies,
Could I please join your thread? I got chatting to Engelbart last week on another thread and ordered my Clearblue there and then. I?m CD24 today so it might be a week before I can officially start UCL 31-34. I got my monitor off Amazon with 40 sticks for £73 ish, was that a good price?
I don?t think I ovulate most months so hopefully the Clearblue will be able to tell me for sure. I had surgery yesterday on my ovaries so I?ve got high hopes for next month!
Baby dust to all! Vikks

hello ladies!!

mamabelli nice to see you again!

welcome vikks!! I really hope the cbfm helps you!! My cycle is also around 35 days, and it has showed me that I ovulate around days 21/22. This is my second month using it, so hopefully it will help us all get the everwanted bfp!!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. It is raining very much over here in the other side of the world. We lost electricity last night!!

Thanks for the baby dust!!! Sending it to you too!

engelbart · 26/07/2009 08:47

Good morning ladies!

Nice to see you Vikks, really glad you bought the monitor. This way you'll always know whether you ovulate or not which is a huge source of comfort in itself! I always ovulate CD 14 and 15 according to the monitor. Hope your surgery went well, how are you feeling?

Hey cyncan! We've had similar weather, i got caught in a thunderstorm yesterday, got completely drenched!peasoup

Hi, thanks for the welcome.

Engelbart ? I?m recovering at home in bed, they let me out of the hospital Friday night. I?m a bit spaced out from all the pain killers and a bit bored. DH is doing a good job running round looking after me and I have my laptop in bed with me to keep me sane!

Cyncan ? My cycle is about the same length as yours, I bet I ovualate around 21-22 as well. It used to be a lot longer but I?ve taken Clomid and Tamoxifen for the last year and they really help keep my cycle shorter, it was up to 50ish days!

Can?t wait to get started on the Clearblue, come on AF (I know I?m not PG)!
Vikks
P.S. Cyncan ? Where in the world are you?

bigbrofan · 26/07/2009 14:11

hi all, and welcome vicks.

im on day 22 of my cycle and obviosuly my monitors been at low for last few days after my peak last weekend.....

my af is due in about 6 days and im dreading it as i think i have a few symptoms - i.e sore boobs the way they feel before af.

i know its only my second month using moniyor but im getting so fed up already... this month i have been taking b6, drinking green tea with jasmine, jasmine apparently regulates your menstrual cysle, and had 2 sessions of reflexology. just need to keep up hope i guess....

it was my birthday yesterday and im hoping for a BFP as a late bday present this year but who knows....

anyone testing this week?? if so lots of luck...

hi girls

how you all doing? I have just got back from a weekend camping which was quite nice. Only downer is that cd 26 today and guess what arrived? yep AF! - ended up crying in the car on the way back i was so upset

bigbrofan and mamabelli- hope af stays away for you two

engelbart - do you still think af is on her way or is there hope?

engelbart · 26/07/2009 18:55

oh baby sorry to hear that, how awful. Hate the way our bodies can do these random things to us.

I did have AF symptons up until a couple of days ago. However, this is probably my body playing new tricks on me. Oh well, we'll see.

Trixel · 26/07/2009 19:05

gawd girls, i am in the absolute foulest of moods!!! goodness knows where this one has come from, and it's not like me. i'm usually a fairly chipper sort of person but a bear with a sore head's got nothing on me today....
welcome to you vikks - promise to be cheerier in future!
engel - any af yet? praps the tests havent been sensitive enough? or do you really think she's on her way?
bigbrofan - sore boobs can be pg symptom too - just another cunning way our bodies have of playing tricks with our minds!
mamabelli - have you tested again yet? due tomorrow? fingers crossed!!
baby - have you tested yet? you're due today arent you?
hey cyncan - how's the shag plan going?!
not really ever got into the sewing machine thing, although my mum did give me one once. i'm not patient enough to see something like that through - i start off really well, full of enthusiasm, being ridiculaously perfectionist, and then when it doesnt happen overnight i get bored. luckily that particular flaw hasnt translated to my professional life, or i'd be a bit kiboshed!
newmember - hope the bd'ing's going well and going "under the radar" for this month is what it takes for you.
what else is new?
oh, and a woo woo is a delicious cocktail made of vodka, orange juice, cranberry juice and peach schnapps. there were a few glum faces in here and i thought it might cheer everyone up. of course i could probably do with one myself now, but as i'm in the 2ww now i shan't. a lovely cup of tea then.... Welcome back Trixel! Hope the cup of tea and biscuits have helped! Think we all deserve to be in a foul mood now and again!

I haven't tested yet - AF due Wednesday. Was reading another thread where a couple of people had what they thought were bfp but turned out to be an evaporation line on an ebay cheapie. How awful would that be? You think you're pregnant but in actual fact its a dodgy test. Think I may have to stock up on some brand name tests.

Trixel · 27/07/2009 00:05
