Yes it is quiet in here today isn't it! Hello cyncan

I've been out in the garden, lovely and warm. Now watching Murray who isn't doing too well...

Any testing, sympton spotting from anyone? I am of course on boring CD3, normally start getting excited around CD10!

babyinacorner · 03/07/2009 17:42

Hi Cyncan and Engelbart and anyone else who is lurking!

Engelbart - just realised I didn't answer your question about reflexology - I think the reason it improves chances of conception in theory is to do with the fact that you are working on acupressure points on the foot which correspond to different parts of the body - so the reflexologist could work on any points of stress or problems. And of course it relaxes you and makes the energy flow better around the body. It also feels really nice if this month isn't successful then i'm adding acupuncture into the equation!

Also - I know i'm CD4 on the list but according to the monitor im on day 3 as my af started too late for me to reset the monitor on the same day.

Trixel - any news?

Hi Baby! We're on the same cycle day then!

Thanks for the info about reflexology. I might see if anyone offers it where I live. Anything to improve my chances this month...

cyncan · 03/07/2009 18:05

They aren't playing the tennis here!! They always wait till 7 PM to run the games online to have more viewers!! So I won't see the matches till tonight.

No news on my front. No symptoms what-so-ever...

engelbart · 03/07/2009 18:07

hey girls, how are you all? it's rained and rained and rained here today, but the sun's out now!
i did a test this morning and it was bfn, which i was actually a little surprised at as i felt so very sick last night. however, i would normally be coming up positive by this stage if was PG, so i reckon that blummin af is coming on monday / tuesday. i know it aint over til the fat lady sings, but i reckon she's just warming up her voice box now in time for her appearance!
cyncan i'm not going to comment on the tennis as you're probably catching up on it now.....
baby i'll be interested to hear how this rexlexology goes - if you get your bfp this time i reckon we'll all be out there getting strategically placed foot rubs! as for acupuncture our best man does it, so i might have to enlist his help (but then that would mean admitting that we're ttc, and i quite like coming across as rather nonchalant about it!)
newmember, bigbrofan, engel, ilovebeingamummy - how are you all doing? anyone else having chinese takeaway tonight??! i'm rather looking forward to mine!
x

hi ladies, just popping on to see how you all are.

saw the mention of reflexology and just wanted to say i started having it in jan every week, after non-existent cycles, got a BFP in feb! mc, however then went on to have AF 6 weeks later, then BFP next cycle! so i really believe in it, and osteopathy!

good luck to you all, sending some positive vibes your way! (and mm chinese would have gone down a treat last night! nom nom nom)

bigbrofan · 05/07/2009 01:37

hi everyone, AF started last night on day 27 of my cycle.... gutted is an understatment!!! it isnt a particularly heavy period - i think the d&c has mad my cycles shorter and lighter - has this happened to anyone else??

ilovebeingamummy - how did you get diagnosed with luteal phase defect and are there symptoms??

well lots of luck to everyone else this month.

i am seriously considering reflexology - is it good?? xxx

Hi ladies! Just got back from seeing a nice spectacle for the fourth of July. Wish you all could see it, the fireworks are really majestic. No news on this front... still no sypmtoms, just waiting for either BFP or AF... I still have around 8/9 more days to go..

You all are probably sleeping! Hope you have a wonderful morning tomorrow, and enjoy your Sunday.

bigbrofan What is d&c? from what I have read, when you the fertilized egg sticks to the uterus, there is usually some spotting... might this be what is happening to you? (HOPEFULLY)

engelbart · 05/07/2009 10:41

Morning Ladies, have updated the list.
Sounds like you had a great day yesterday cyncan. Have been enjoying the sun here!
Have been checking out reflexology, can't find anywhere that does it where I live. May have to expand my search further....

Bigbrofan- sorry AF arrived, its so depressing I know. When did you have your d&C it can take a few months for things to get back to 'normal'.

engelbart - i had it done 31st of january and my period arrived 4th march... that is me had 4 full cycles since..... my periods are definately different since i had that done... initially they were much heavier first 2 months... now they seem to be easing off a bit.

cyncan - it is definately not spotting sadly!! it is too heavy now... a d&c is an abbreviation of dilation and curettage - i had to have it done after i had a missed miscarriage. basically they scrape the internal lining of your womb.

bigbrofan too sad to hear about your d&c, hopefully your body will soon be regular again, and soon have a BFP!!

engel glad to hear you were enjoying the sun. Great way to relax. Thanks for updating the list!

Evening Ladies!

Well today is day 19 for me - so I am 7/8 past OV! (TMI ALERT) After going to the toilet a few times today, I have noticed a brownish discharge!

Hmmm ... could this be a gd sign? Or is my body playing trickes on me?

engelbart · 05/07/2009 19:48

Newmember could be implantation bleeding! When are you going to test?

NewMember · 05/07/2009 19:51

Hmmm I pray it is implantation bleeding!

My cycle has changed over last few months, it goes from 24-28 days! If its 24 I could test middle of the week! Think I will give it 1 more week and see how i feel!

I have packed my CBFM away for a little while as I was getting more stressed out about TTC - it would be great for this to be my lucky month!
