do you know what girls, i am shattered!!! we've had a really busy few weeks work-wise and the photo shoot (underwater babies and toddlers) was today. have spent ages planning this one, and now it's all over for about 3 more mths!! been in the pool for about 8 hours in total, and so closely resemble a prune!
anyway, i'm crossing my fingers newmember that you're having implantation bleeding. it sounds hopeful. any twinges?
sorry bigbrofan that AF came, bah. hopefully your body will start to get back to normal soon.
engel, isnt this weather glorious?! we had some amazing natural light, as well as our underwater flash lighting today for the shoot, and it makes such a difference!
cyncan - sounds like it was a fab celebration day yesterday!!
bellas - nice to see you, how far gone are you now? how are you feeling?
baby, how are you doing? good weekend?

NewMember · 05/07/2009 22:28

Trixel - day 28 for you then -are you testing today?

Hope everyone had a good weekend, it was quite a sunny one here in Bristol, went to a carnival on saturday which was quite good fun, went on the bouncy castle with my ds who is only two so he was falling over and bouncing all over the place!!

babyinacorner · 06/07/2009 08:44

Newmember - bad news about the bfn but there is still time and hope! I saw your thread you have started and can totally empathise with you - it is really really hard ttc - there seems to me to be little rhyme or reason why it happens quickly or takes ages. I'm getting really frustrated too - just waiting every month to see if we have been successful then getting a bfn and starting it all again! it's really doing me head in now. Anyway, i'm hoping this month is your month and you get the BFP you want.

Cyncan - feeling sick?!! are you sure this isn't pregnancy symptoms?

NewMember · 06/07/2009 19:57

Thannx baby - fingers crossed for u 2

cyncan · 06/07/2009 22:09

Hi baby I really don't know how to answer your question... Sometimes I do think they are symptoms..but I don't want to get too excited and then getting the BFN! I am so excited about your anniversary celebration weekend!! You must relax and enjoy it, forget about TTC, have fun!

newmember, baby is right, there is still some more time before the AF... so you never know

engel and trixel hope you ladies are doing well today!

newmember I saw your thread too and sympathise. I really thought I'd be pregnant by now- only took a couple of months with dd.

I've been looking into my my private health insurance and I qualify for fertility investigations and treatments. I'm going to give myself a couple of months and if I havent got my bfp by then am going to start the ball rolling. At least this will make me think I'm doing something and gives me hope!

Hi Cyncan, so when are you going to test? Your sickness sympton sounds promising

Trixel I hope AF stays away...

cyncan · 06/07/2009 23:47

Hi engel I am glad to hear your insurance covers those treatments. In the US nothing related to fertility is covered, that I am aware of

I don't know about these symptoms.. I have had a constant headache, and do feel a bit off. From our previous calculations, I think my cycle is 35/36 days...I will be on my 30th day tomorrow... I guess I am afraid to test and get a negative.. I will wait till Friday to test.

Will definitely keep you posted

engelbart · 07/07/2009 08:19

Morning everyone!

Any sympton spotting or AF news?

Day 7 for me and as expected the monitor asked for a stick. Last month on day 7 I got a high, today still low. Isn't it odd how your cycle alters every month? Hoping to get a high soon!

cyncan- Yes I am lucky with my health insurance which I get through work. It wont pay for IVF though, everything but. Hoping it wont come to that. Spoke to DH about it last night and he thinks I am over-reacting and thinking about it I probably am, must try and remain calm and stress free . It's good that you're trying to hold out a bit longer before testing, more likely to get the bfp!

bigbrofan · 07/07/2009 15:20

hi all - my AF was so light thi smonth - but defo to heavy to be implantation if you know what i mean...

im going to start back at the gym tonight -kick my body back into shape and get it functioning properly.... i am also getting reflexology tomorrow (wed) i am so excited to get it as ive been reading that for fertility it can be really effective... i am also going to a fortune teller (never been before) this woman is meant to be amazing - i just need some hope it think....

well good luck to all who are testing this week and i will be keeping my fingers crossed for you all....

xxx

bigbrofan · 07/07/2009 15:23

also.... i love having people to talk to on here as im finding it really difficult at the moment to speak to any of my friends/family.... so thank you xx

cyncan · 07/07/2009 16:44

Good morning ladies! I have updated our numbers.

No symptoms at all... no AF either. Five more days for either AF to come or to test..

bigbrofan excellent idea to hit the gym. I should do that too.. haven't really been exercising much! Fortune teller!!! Do let me know how that goes!!

engel I don't think you will need IVF! I am sure BFP will come soon! But we need to make sure we stay relaxed and calm!! Remember TTC can take a long time! We just need to be patient and let nature take its course.

cyncan you are definitely the voice of reason! You are right, more relaxation and less stress!

I skived off work early today which was lovely, so nice to come home and enjoy a cup of tea, book and peace and quiet! If only I could do it everyday!

Trixel- has AF turned up? Hope note

Trixel · 07/07/2009 21:48

it hasnt actually engel, thanks for asking . but i've had cramps and things yesterday and today, so i'm afraid i'm reluctantly expecting it. i havent tested again since that cheeky early one on friday, and i thought i might tomorrow if no show from the witch. but i'm not hopeful to be honest...
how are you feeling? are you nicely chilled after an early finish?
totally agree with you bigbrofan - it's great to be able to chat on here uncensored isnt it?! we all understand what we're on about!!
the gym is a great idea girls - i love going. it's something you do just for you, and gives you that chance to chill out (whilst of course sweating your arse off!). really valuable time!

Trixel · 08/07/2009 08:27

bfn this morning. so it's on its way...but late. that's just rude.

engelbart · 08/07/2009 08:31

at your BFN trixel. So disappointing. I am on CD8 now, monitor still showing low.

How's everyone else? Pouring with rain here, not nice!

cyncan · 08/07/2009 16:32

hi ladies!! I agree with all of you too!! This experience of TTC is that much better having all you ladies to share it with!

I am on my CD31! Still waiting to test... I am going to wait till Friday. Trying not to feel anything.... since I have no symptoms.

Too bad to hear about the rain engel it is really nice here, 11:30 AM very sunny and not too hot.

trixel this is a new start, so keep the hopes up for this month!

bigbrofan · 08/07/2009 18:28

hi ladies,

i went for reflexology today and really enjoyed it - i cant recommend it enough... i told the nurse all about my miscarriage etc - she worked alot on the area relating to the uterus etc... i know this sounds wierd but i had my AF at the weekend very short and light and felt so wierd about it like it hadn't been a proper period or wasn't finished properly - i came out and went to the toilet a few hours later and there was blood - sorry TMI... dont know if this has anything to do with reflexology - but im going back in 2 weeks... so good if it works and relaxing too -

i also went to the fortune teller after it - (had a very spiritual day) hehe... she was also excellent - she knew lots of stuff about my family and sisters - she told me it was a baby girl i was having when i miscarried but i was going to have a baby girl soon.... she knew loads about my husband too.. hopefully she is accurate... i went to her because she didnt know anyone i know an dlives far from me - it was very spooky..she also said my gran was watching me and i was going to find a white feather in next few days...wierd - will keep you posted if any of it comes true....

trixel - bummer about the BFN - its a real bummer when AF is late... i was once a week late and wasnt pregnant - it was gutting - i think i trick my self into having symptoms....

my monitor is still at low on day 5 will prob ask me to test tmrw...

anyone else testing??? xxx

babyinacorner · 08/07/2009 19:01

Hi all

Bigbrofan - really glad you enjoyed the reflexology - it's fab isn't it! I have just had my second session for an hour this time and it was lovely. The experience with the psychic/fortune teller sounds amazing - i would love to do that -whereabouts is she based if you don't mind me asking? I'm based near Bristol.

Cyncan - not too long to wait to test now - come on BFP! - we have got to have at least one on this thread soon

Engelbart - I'm on day 8 too but am on high -same as last month where i got highs from day 6 -just hoping that I get peaks day 11 and 12 so my weekend of passion will tie in with ovulation

Trixel - what a right pain -combined lateness and a bfn is too much ..but..it's not over till af arrives!

bigbrofan · 08/07/2009 21:36

babyinacorner she is in dumbarton in scotland.... there is so many fakes out there...it was niceto go to someone accurate... do you think the reflexology is helping you?? how far apart from each session did you go??
