Please don't be offended if you're not named, you're still welcome, I just have a rubbish memory. I can see a couple of you on November thread but there's a whole load of people not there. Just wondering if you wanted a little thread to keep in touch?

Headfairy - just replied to you on grapefruit thread. So sorry about your sad news. Was hoping a new thread might provide you with support from old friends.

And Sunnydale, I know you're wary of new threads, so though you might also like the company of old friends.

Wishing and Bubble having your weird long cycles and missing whole month's threads, thought this might be one for you too.

So what do you say? I'll start a list just in case:

Issy, ttc#1, cycle 14, ucl 28ish, cd 23/10dpo, mc Mar08, cp Sep08, IVF in April.

Hello all

Yes I am extremely high powered! haha. Not really. Particularly since my heart is just not in it. I don't want to be a total SAHM but a part time job with much less stress but the same amount of money as this job full time would be great! let me know if you can think of one ah well - at least the client yesterday was totally hot. [fanning self emoticon]

isn't this weather totally glorious? My view is of a wall sadly so I am not doing much better than you head !

blue i hope you are doing well. Any symptom spotting? I am sitting on my hands today to stop myself from texting a very close friend who is waiting for results from her first iui. I really hope it's worked but don't want to be in her face about it so just have to sit and wait.
wishing please please keep us updated about your how-far-goneness
bubble, girl , jelly , suzi and issy I hope that you are all in good sprits and are making the most of the nice weather. Who knows when we'll have it again?!

it is weird how we know about each others cervical mucus but really very little else isn't it !!!

HeadFairy · 20/03/2009 11:20

Perhaps you can put a picture of a sunny day on your wall, and I'll get a nice screen saver on my pc with a picture of the sun, just in case I forget what it looks like

Actually, I've got just over an hour til I can go and frolic in the sunshine so I'm counting down.... If you do find any jobs that are a) not stressful b)pay loads for part time work and c) are vaguely interesting do let me know cos i'm on the look out too I can currently fulfill only one of those three criteria.

Bubblebell1 · 20/03/2009 11:50

Hey girls,

hope your all ok.

ds2 and i are enjoying the sunshine playing in the garden and on the trampoline. im going out tonight with some mums from the school so slowly making myself look human. (that will take all day)

sorry for those of you at work. It is supposed to stay nice this weekend so you should get to spend sometime out in it.

Anyone due to test soon. i think our thread needs some BFPs soon.

AF has moved on and im on cd5. I have decided this month im going to follow the deanna plan. ive sacked the thermometer, its not reliable for me. i dont sleep well and wake every couple of hrs through the night and from about 5am onwards every 30 mins. it drives me round the twist. so this cycle im going to use the opks and bd as much as possible.

i hope you all have a lovely weekend and mothers day.

xxx

HeadFairy · 20/03/2009 11:56

I'm working this weekend too bubble

Good luck with DP. I never got to grips with bding on cd8, I never feel in the mood... it's too early and my hormones aren't pumping yet

girlwithacurl · 20/03/2009 12:01

Hi eveyone! i can't wait to get home, its so lovely! think I might make my neighbour share a glass or two with me in the garden this afetrnoon.

bubble you and I are cycle buddies (for now at least) I am going to follow a slightly modified DP, if we start on CD10 then we will be exhausted by the time i OV on CD27... going to use OPK's though (boots have £5 off clearblue btw!). Going to see what the Dr says, but definitly more BD'ing this time, it was hard last time as DP wasn't really up to it, but this time there is going to be no stopping us!

I am also really annoyed, I emailed my brother on sunday about sorting out a present for my fathers 60th and he still hasn't replied, he hasn't really spoken to me since Nov when he told me he and SIL were expecting... not really sure what I should do about this, he was totaly insensitive so i don't feel like doing all the running, but you would think he could at least bother to reply when I write to him direct

LJ29 · 20/03/2009 12:17

Hi Ladies! Not sure if any of you remember be but I was on both the July and August threadsd. Sorry to see that so many of you are stil TTC but I am sure that all this sunshine will bring lot of happy BFP's with it. Huge congrats to Wishing!

I got my BFP at the beginning of January and will be 15wks tomorrow. I would like to say that it has been wonderful but the first 12 weeks have actually been incredibly stressful with bleeding and blood test results etc. but thankfully all is fine now. When I first joined MN a very kind lady on here sent me her OV sticks as she no longer needed them. I have quite a few cheapie ones that I am now haoppy to pass on if anyone would like them. If so please let me know and I will give you my e-mail address.

Take care everyone.

SuziBhoy · 20/03/2009 13:15

hey LJ29.... i remember you, nice to hear from you again and congrats on the pg, see it does happen [grin}. i would be greedy grateful to take on your ov sticks. I have never used them before, but desperate times calls for any measure whatsoever maybe they will pass on some baby dust or something

Bubblebell1 · 20/03/2009 14:09

head i dont really feel in the mood either but after my short cycle this time im going to try and cover all bases.

girl try emailing him again. maybe he is busy and forgot to reply. i find im the 1 in my family that does all the organising and sometimes the others havnt even thought about the upcoming event. If he still doesnt reply ask him out right if there is something wrong. i would.

hi and congratulations LJ. not long til your 20w scan. will you find out the sex?

Suzi any news?

Sif and head good luck on your hunt for the perfect job.

SuziBhoy · 20/03/2009 14:13

well ladies I got a BFN this morning... so have decided to try something else to help me be more clear about what my cycle is doing !! AF still hasnt showed yet... now on CD39, i wish my cycle was regular

HeadFairy · 20/03/2009 14:57

suzi

girlwithacurl · 20/03/2009 15:40

sorry aboutthe BFN suzi, how long was your last cycle?

SuziBhoy · 20/03/2009 16:00

hey my last cycle was 48 days and the last 4 cycles before that were between 30 and 37. i should really start using opks so i know exactly when i ovulate, so that is what im going to do.

sifuentes · 20/03/2009 16:02

woah that is long, suzi. how annoying for you. get some cheapies from zoombaby - I think that is where blue gets hers from

girlwithacurl · 20/03/2009 16:06

thats really long suzi yes, good idea on the opks. have you been to the dr's?

bluesatinsash · 20/03/2009 16:22

Hi Gals,

Been working off-site today so just got back to desk to catch up with y'all before I head home and slip into my bikini comfy joggies.

Well that old boot AF turned up today, 3 days early but at least I'm not spending the weekend in a heightened state of anxiety and guily at my red wine supping.

Have had a rubbish day actually girls, colleague had her 12 week scan today and I'm sitting there with AF in full flow wondering if it will ever happen and actually feeling jealous of the three year ago me for being pg and taking it all for granted - aaargh! I'm in bloody limbo with a house full of baby things that I so want to use again (regardless of sex, a DD will be dressed in blue with pink co-ordinates )and just feel like time is marching nae sprinting on - harrumph.

On the positive side I'm booked in for Acup sesh just before I should next ov and DH and me are going away for the night for our 5 year wed. anniv. that same week so hopefully the baby dust will flow .

Anyway, enough about me , sorry you got a BFN Suzi - harrumph for you too.

Havea lovely weekend ladies and fingers crossed Head AF has lost your address .

SuziBhoy · 20/03/2009 16:36

hey girl yeah it is long..... didnt think about going to the docs, i just assumed the fact that im getting af means im alright!! do u think i should?? (waits nervously)

girlwithacurl · 20/03/2009 16:37

Sorry you are feeling blue blue

AF is such s B*. Hope you have a lovely weekend, enjoy a glass or two in the sun! Your plans sound lovely, try and look forward to that and not focus on last cycle or other people... easier said than done I know...

this TTC malarky is really tough isn't it... why does nobody warn you!

girlwithacurl · 20/03/2009 16:39

suzi with a cycle that long and unpredictable I would! I am going on tuesday and will discuss my "long" cycle, if you haven't gone by then I will let you know what she says. When was your MC. My cycle has been really long since I had mine, longest beeing 56 days, shortest 40. Before they were around 32... have yours always been long and unreliable?

SuziBhoy · 20/03/2009 16:49

yeah my cycles have always been long and unreliable...... i had an ectopic pg last year around this time, and mc just before xmas, so that has probably mucked up my cycle big time. i will make an appointment to have a chat about it!! everything helps please let me know how you get on at the doc

sifuentes · 20/03/2009 18:02

oh blue makes me feel blue to hear you being blue

I totally sympathise though. I keep not buying clothes thinking it would be silly because I will only be able to wear them for 3 more months so silly and now means that i almost can't be bothered to get dressed because I am that bored with what is on my bedroom floor in my wardrobe.

good news on the acupuncture AND anniversary though. That sounds good.

Fingers crossed for head
my friend's IUI didn't work so I feel very for her too.
oh dear. AT LEAST IT'S THE WEEKEND.
take care lovely ladies xxx

HeadFairy · 20/03/2009 18:14

heheh sif, I've just bought a knock out dress for my friend's wedding in two months. I BET I'll still be able to wear it cos I won't be pg. Grrrrr!

LJ29 · 20/03/2009 18:47

Suzibhoy do you want to e-mail me your address to [email protected].

SuziBhoy · 20/03/2009 18:57

thanks LJ29, i have sent you my address.

Bubblebell1 · 21/03/2009 14:41

Hi girls,

Im having a terrible day. My bils gf has just announced she is pg. I am feeling so sad and selfishly wondering why its not me. I felt fine after having the mc and was telling myself that its natures way but i cant help feeling how unfair it really is.i feel like ive hit a brick wall and keep thinking of what would of been.

dh is away with work and i cant bring myself to admit to ppl in rl that im feeling like this but i cant seem to stop myself from crying whenever anyone asks how i am. i feel so

Its such a beautiful day and im playing in the garden with ds2 but i keep drifting off into another world where ive got 3 dc and im happy not torturing myself with this whole ttc bollocks.

sorry to be so self indulgant. i know you all have the same worries and dreams.

SuziBhoy · 21/03/2009 17:45

aw bubble, sorry your feeling this way!! It is hard, and i know how you feel, my brother announced his gf is pg AGAIN!!! Try to concentrate on something else.... easier said than done i know, but try not let this eat you up!! thinkin of you
