HC Bugger about the GHD's, get in touch with paypal !!!

Dawni-your temp dipping like that is always a good sign as it tends to dip before OV day. You just need to see what it does tomorrow. I have Emailed the seller first to ask for my money back plus postage to send them back to him. I'm right in thinking he should refund before I post them to him?

Yes HC you get refund first then post, we done that with a mobile that was blocked.

Sorry to me me me HC But i done a stupid thing and done OPK when i was still with AF and the test showed a faint line, it was last day of AF and ive not seen a line since !! Im just so paranoid, today is CD14 so thought I should have have a +tive by now ?? And with saliva test now -tive im even worse !! Will still BD though, just incase. I bid and won a clear blue monitor and sticks, they are supposed to be brill, so if this month isnt mine i will try the new way of testing.

D xx

HumphreysCorner · 26/01/2009 10:11

I lost the will to live with OPK's at one point as it gave me a +ive once but I didn't actually OV until a week later. Another time it gave me +ives every night for a week. Try the monitor but your temps tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Hello all, no news I'm afraid - just had a really busy day - and now to top it all I have ripped my last pair of trousers that fitted (well actually I have worn them out ). Was hoping that I could make all my clothes last until beanie arrives, so unless he/she arrives tonight I am going to have to buy some more tomorrow! Will have to wear my skirt to the shops which I can hardly breathe in and then change when I buy something

Dawni - sounding good for b'ding!!

CE - oohh not heard about the washing machine turning - you will have to let us know if it happens! If not what is the plan?

MJIM and Willmouse are on hols arn't they?

Hope everyone else is well! xx

detoxdiva · 27/01/2009 09:24

Morning all

Bellie - hope you find some nice comfy clothes to spend the last few days in!

CE - hope you're well. Dd was breach for a while and turned without me noticing, so hopefully it won't be as bad as you think. Then again, she was a wriggly little begger thing, so perhaps I just got used to the constant movement

HC - how are you? Keeping well I hope - any pg symptoms yet?

All well here - still feel completely normal...no sickness or anything. Had our work do on Sat - very odd being the only sober one when everyone else was very merry. Managed to make 1 glass of wine last all night without any questions (I think)

Bellie · 27/01/2009 09:32

detox - well done for making one glass last all night - it is hard at the start isn't it when you don't want people to know.

Am off out in a bit to try and find clothes but feeling more like a whale at the moment than a human! Still maximum of 10 days until I get to hold beanie!!

Hope everyone else is ok.

MrsPuddleduck · 27/01/2009 09:55

Morning everyone!

It's just taken me ages to read all the postings and I can't remember what everyone said individually so apologies!

CE - I have never had leaky boobs whilst pg but glad it is not unusual.

Ceebee - hope Josh is better

Bellie - you may as well by a comfy pair of trousers as if you are anything like me you will be wearing them for at least two weeks after the birth anyway just for the comfort factor!

HC - glad to hear you are still OK - when are you going to do your fancy test??

Ladidadi - don't go anywhere - we need more ladies ttc on this thread!

Dawni - I have been reading your various posts with great interest! How many ways are there to check whether or not you are ovulating??? I am not going to use test sticks - I don't think they give the correct info and put you off b'ding on the right day but I would be interested to know whether or not the temping worked and how it fit in with the EWCM.

I am now on CD17. Using the EWCM method - which is usually correct day wise for me I reckon I ovulated on CD15. We bd on CD13, CD15, CD16 and then I am thinking CD18 and CD20. Do you think this will cover it??????

Holiday was great (only BIL got a D and V bug from the pool on day 2 and spend the rest of the holiday in quarantine).

HumphreysCorner · 27/01/2009 09:58

Morning all

Silly me is still temping and my temps are dropping every day which is doing my head in. Am now fearing the worst-aarrrggghhh!!!

Bellie-hope you get sorted today.

Did feel a tad PG yesterday and hoping the same will happen today but at 4w and 5d I don't suppose I would have many symptoms.

Right, off to try and sort PayPal out.

Laters!

DawnAS · 27/01/2009 10:14

Hi all,

CE, Can't say I'm looking forward to the leaking milk bit of this malarky, but I guess that's something else to experience. I can imagine it must have been a little odd!!

MJIM, I'm probably a little bit late with this advice, but I imagine I will have similar issues as yourself with the weight thing as I'm really paranoid about it. Even though I'm tall and have never been overweight, I have always felt that my actual "size" is larger than I want it to be. Pre-PG I was 9st 8 and 5ft 8inches tall, so not at all overweight. But I was a size 12-14 and wanted to be a standard size 12. So I started doing Weight Watchers. I didn't actually go because I wasn't heavy enough to, but I started to use it as a healthy-eating plan. I just bought the books off of Ebay and started to watch my portion sizes. That's when I found out about how much I should be eating. In previous diets, like you, I just reduced dramatically my food intake and couldn't understand why I wasn't losing weight and then I tried Weight Watchers and worked out my points allowance and I had been eating nowhere near enough!! Your body needs a certain amount to function (dependent on your height, weight and lifestyle) and if you don't eat enough, your body just retains everything you eat so you won't lose any weight. I didn't buy the weight watchers food, I just followed the portion sizes and kept within my points allowance. Still having a packet of crisps every day aswell as my meals!! It's the only diet that I've ever done where it really works. Even though I'm not on it now (obviously), I still weight out mince, rice and pasta when I'm making meals as any more than the allowance now, I found too filling and it gets wasted. So, if you want to eat healthily but still keep to a plan, buy the cheap books off of ebay and give it a go, when you're ready. I lost 5lbs in the first week (most of it water!!) and then an average of 1.5-2lb a week until my goal weight. It's a healthy way of doing it.

HC how are you hun? Keeping everything crossed that little beanie remains stuck!! Did the cramping eventually pass? Any news on the Ebay situation? I hope that you get your money back - what a nightmare!!

Bellie, any movement hun or are you off to the shop for more clothes? How frustrating for you!!

Dawni, I used OPKs for the first cycle of TTC and the temping for the second cycle. I got on with the temping much better I have to say. It was knowing when to stop once I'd got my BFP that threw me. I think it was HC that told me to stop taking it the week after I got the BFP to stop myself going mad with worry!!

Mandy, how are you and the bump doing? Everything Ok with you?

Big waves to anyone that I might have missed!!

Well, our little girl was having a good wriggle last night and for the first time, I felt two kicks (or punches ) from the outside. By the time I got DH into the room to feel, she'd moved into her little hiding place. But I'm sure there'll be plenty of time for that.

So I'm 21 weeks tomorrow and we've got the 20 week scan on Thursday, so making sure we get change for the pictures!! Last time we only had enough change for one but the sonographer was so impressed with our pics that she gave us three anyway!! I'm excited although a little nervous as I feel they'll be looking for problems because of the bad blood result I had. But the rate I'm growing and the amount she's moving around, I'm hoping that all will be fine.

Hope everyone is well.

xxxx

DawnAS · 27/01/2009 10:16

Ooops, crossed posts everyone.

HC, you told me to stop temping and now I'm telling you!! (In the nicest possible way of course... ).

Hi Detox and Willmouse, sorry I missed you, that'll teach me not to have two meetings mid-posting!!

Dawni · 27/01/2009 11:05

Good morning ladies, sll sounds well

Willmouse Nice to have my TTC buddy back Hope you had a nice time & it was'nt too cold here, sorry to hear BIL was ill though !!..... Im now CD15, BDing every other day, except CD11 & 12 we went both days !! had ewcm yesterday plus temp drop so BD lastinght, will also BD CD16 & 18, then after that its just for fun (iykwim)...I got a clearblue fertility monitor for next cycle (hope i dont need it !!) Im sick of the OPK's and im not used to the temp thingy so still need extra help. This month Ive just followed my body and a little help from HC which is brill. The saliva test is very good also, this shows a ferning pattern a few days before ovulation, its very accurate i find xx

DawnAS Nice to hear from you, pleased you sound well and little beanie is doing fine xx

Detox good morning to you, take it all is good with baby xx

Bellie Hope you get some comfy pants today hun xx

HumphreysCorner · 27/01/2009 13:18

I am doing my Digi conecption indicator test on Sunday and if it says 3+ weeks then that will be my last temp. Have just used an OPK as a PG test and the result line was so much brighter than the control line.

Hi

Dawni - hope you didn't spend too much money! Did you manage to grab any bargains. I have just noticed that as well as mothercare there is going to be an ELC on the retail park which is about 5 mins away from our house. I will never be out of the place!

HC - does the digital test say up to three weeks pregnant? That is impressive. I too am saving mine.....

Right, off to work out what homework I can do with DS1 writing sentences with a traditional nursery rhyme and story theme .

Dawni · 27/01/2009 15:51

Was just thinking, with not doing the OPKs, how will i know when im passed ovulation ?? Im sat with DH's work laptop watching the AT show, keep getting slight stabbing pains in right side, could this be ovulation ??
Was gonna go to the gym, but maybe I'll just take it easy instead today.

Things still sound good HC, understand why you keep going though, if my time ever comes it'll take till i go into labour to believe it

Later

Afternoon all!

Popped on to say BFN this morning! AF is due tomorrow. Have to admit that for the first month I am not remotely bothered and actually a little relieved. Our friends who lost the baby are coming to stay with us this weekend. If I wasn't drinking alcohol it would have been so so obvious!

Dawni - I get stabbing pains at OV. I can tell when it's OV day...it's normally the 2nd day of stabbing pains. I do also get a +OPK too. The ebay ones are okay, but the first few OPK months I also used clear blue ones, as I found them a bit easier to read.

HC - Hun, please don't worry yourself with the temping I am sure your little bean will be sticky and you are nicely PG!!

Dawn - good to hear your LO is giving you some kicks now! How exciting! Does it feel weird??

Willmouse - oooh good luck this cycle..I agree the BDing should have nicely covered it!

Big waves all around

Bluestar x

Bellie · 27/01/2009 16:53

Willmouse, glad you had a good time, but sorry that BIL was ill. I would agree that you have pretty much covered the Bd'ing - now on with the 2ww!

HC - stop temping before you drive yourself crazy!! I am sure that it will be a sticky one!

Dawni - hope you didn't spend too much money. I got a pair of comfy trousers in the sale at mothercare so not too upset as at least they didn't cost that much. I am sure that I will be wearing mat clothes for a while after beanie is born as I did for about 3 months with dd!!

Bluestar sorry about your bfn, but also relieved that you are not in that position with your friend. Thinking of you all this weekend (just incase I don't get back on).

Dawnas - I can't beleive how quickly the time has flown I am sure that everything will be ok at the scan on Thurs.

Off to get dd her tea now xx
