Don't know DawnAS as to this day I can honestly say I never experienced Braxton Hicks. As you know doing the deed won't hurt baby at all so am sure you will be just fine. I keep getting diorrhea every other day and this seems to be the days my temps drop. Curiouser and curiouser

Dawni-go onto your homepage set up and write the http address that comes up on here and I will do a link for you. Panic ye not we will get you up and running.

Just checking in

BSL so sorry for your friend MJIM speaks wisely - just be there for her to talk to as and when she needs to.

Had a lovely day today - all the babies were really well-behaved and just gorgeous (and all the mums were so nice and friendly aswell). Juanitad was lovely and Patrick was so cute We sat around, talked a lot, went to a tapas restaurant for lunch and then shopped...perfect

Unfortunately it would appear that Josh has chicken pox He has suddenly developed spots everywhere today whilst at nursery although none have developed into the lovely pus-filled ones yet Fingers crossed that it is not the pox but it is not looking good! It might explain why he was being so mischeivous last week....in hindsight, he has often been naughty and then turned out to be ill a couple of days later.

HumphreysCorner · 23/01/2009 20:30

Oh Ceebee-Sophie got the Pox last year but she was fine with it luckily. Hope Josh gets over it very quickly.

Ceebee - hope Josh is not too bad, Meg got it a few months ago, and apart from the spots there was nothing else wrong with her! Only had 2 pus filled ones!

Piriton liquid helps with the itching.

Hope everyone else is having a good day - thought I had some twinges in the middle of the night but nothing further this morning!!

Dawni · 24/01/2009 12:16

Hello ladies,

Ceebee poor Josh, hope he isnt too poorly with them !!

Bellie Hopefully not long now

Got good results on saliva test this morning so im feeling positive today, BD lastnight so the troops are ready and waiting....only hope they are ok as poor DH has been in so much pain his had to take codiene ...time will tell !!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend

Much love

HumphreysCorner · 24/01/2009 12:20

Dawni-your temp is dropping nicely ready for a rise. I can also view your chart in Celsius which is great. Send some more in tonight if DH able.

Bellie-could be Sunday/Monday. [excited emoticon]

Hope all OK.

Thanks ladies for the advice about the pox - Josh's face is covered in spots whereas his body isn't too bad - still not pus-filled ones though. Got him some piriton this morning as he has been scratching constantly!! He seems ok in himself but I guess it means he can't go to nursery for the early part of next week which means I will have both boys for at least 2 or 3 days by myself....aagh!!

Bless him - he was laid on the baby gym this morning with Sam whilst I was taking photos of them. He was looking in the mirror that dangles down from it and said 'mummy I got spots' and from then, he point blank refused to let me take his photo - vanity at 2.6???

Sam slept through again last night - came to bed with me at 10 and didn't hear a peep out of him till just before 7 Shame Josh ruined the night by getting up at least 6 times

Hope you are all having a good weekend - fingers crossed for Bellie that baby arrives soon!

MJIM-is there any way you may have mild PND? If you find yourself crying a lot it does make me wonder. Am hoping a few days away may give you a boost. I do still feel you may not be eating enough. Perhaps you can visit your GP when you get back from your hols just for a chat.

MJIM Ok you want practical support...I will do my best

Firstly, how long have you been doing this? A couple of days?? When dieting, it is recommended that you weigh yourself once a week only as it can take a week for any weight loss to show up iyswim - and it stops you getting disheartened as you have done.

Secondly, I don't think what you are eating is enough - particularly not for a breastfeeding woman. I know HC mentioned it before but if you don't eat enough, your body goes into 'starvation' mode and clings onto it's fat.

here is a website which might help. It is not the one I originally mentioned as that seems to have permanently crashed - but you can have a 24-hour trial on this one which would be enough time for you to see what the recommended daily calorie intake is for someone your height/build etc.

Also, finally, you know that it is ok to be a bit wobbly round the edges and I am 100% sure your DH thinks exactly the same.

I hope this helps - it is hard for me to be objective as I would love to be in your position of only having half a stone to lose, rather than the 3 stone that I have!

Ooh that was a bit of an epic - once I got started, I couldn't stop Have a lovely time with your DH and enjoy the break

Don't be silly - it is obviously important to you so it is not selfish and pathetic - and I hope I didn't come across as thinking that because I don't.

You are 300 calories out plus I would say a few more because of the breastfeeding - maybe you just need to eat something else (maybe up the cereal to a full bowl?) to get you to the recommended amount?

I think the best advice is to be patient and the weight will eventually drop off

LaDiDaDi · 24/01/2009 16:55

Hello everyone. I'd like to join you if that's ok.

We started to ttc dc2 this month though I'm not sure how well we will get on as dp takes ADs that make it hard for him to reach orgasm (sorry for tmi on first post in this thread ). Lots of BD so far this month though so just hoping that one little swimmer will find it's way through .

HumphreysCorner · 24/01/2009 17:30

You are most welcome LaDiDaDi and hope you get a BFP very soon. I took some AD's once that stopped me 'O'ing st sll. Very upsetting. Can he perhaps swap to a different AD, I was fine on Citalopram this time. Good luck!
