Evening all

Dawni lol at your DS 'decorating' the bathroom - and there was me thinking that those days would be well behind me by the time my boys get to 16 Sorry about your DH - it must be awful for him and you.

MJIM sympathies to you about DS too - I hope he recovers very soon!

CE yay for baby CE and you get a scan anyway so you can see him/her again!!

Am sure everything is ok with Bellie - she should definitely be out of hospital by now so hopefully it is just as MJIM says - her hands are full with her baby boy

All pretty much ok here. Josh's behaviour has got worse again (just when I thought we were turning a corner ) but he has got a bit of a stinking cold and we have noticed before that he tends to become 'naughty' when he is not feeling very well - so I am hoping it is just that. He hit Sam on the head this afternoon - hard enough to make Sam scream - but it was my fault as I had left them alone in the lounge whilst I MN did important tasks Bless Josh though - he doesn't know how to lie so confessed straight away

Hi all

Just a flying visit - hope everyone is ok. Will try and post more later....just about to take dd to pre-school for 1st time since she's been ill. Thankfully all better now - her appetite is back with a vengance, which is a sure sign she's better

Most of the snow has gone here after a night of heavy rain, so will go out and brave town to catch up on all the errands I'd put off last week.

I am keeping well - 10 weeks now and thankfully no sickness at all so hopefully have passed the time when I would have suffered - still getting tired in the afternoons, but it doesn't seem as bad as with dd - perhaps I've just got used to being tired and having less sleep since the

Have a good morning x

MrsPuddleduck · 10/02/2009 09:31

Morning all!

Dawni - the vomit sounds vile. I would have made him clean it himself and then made LOADS of noise to aggrivate his hangover!

CE- What a clever baby let's hope its a good omen. DS2 was breech and has been awkward since birth.

MJIM -hope things are a bit better for you today.

Ceebee - DS1 always behaved badly when ill - he is 5 now and just starting to cope with illness better - men huh!

Detox - glad your DD is better - perhaps you can get some much needed rest now!

HC - hope you are feeling better today.

Anwyay - the big news from the Willmouse house is that I am in fact pregnant! Couldn't resist doing the test this morning and I am in shock! Due date is 17/10.

MrsPuddleduck · 10/02/2009 09:58

Thanks all.

I am in complete shock - for some reason I thought it would never happen. I am sat here watching the clock for DH to come back home (not until 5.30 so have a long wait). Poor sod went to work in shock this morning!

I may have to play on the nintendo to pass the time

I am sooo excited - October is the perfect month for me for about a million reasons!

My mindee will leave at end of August and I just wont take anyone else on.

Plus DS1 was due 31/8 so have loads of summer maternity clothes (which is a good job as we have a holiday booked) I am a bit worried about going to Majorca at 27 weeks.

I reckon I will be about the same time as HC by the time you deduct a week for the planned c-section!

Willmouse do you know, I was thinking the same as MJIM about you becoming pg after the HSG - I have heard that is quite common!

Still no news from Bellie yet....

Just been to get Sam weighed - he is 13lb 3oz so has put on a pound in the last 3 weeks - just looked at Josh's book and he was this weight at 13 weeks so not much difference really (Sam is 11 weeks) despite the huge difference in birth weight!

Dawni · 10/02/2009 13:13

Wow Willmouse Congratulations this is a lucky thread !!!!!

majormoo · 10/02/2009 13:23

congratulations Willmouse-that is fantastic news.

You and HC can compare symptoms along the way.

Ceebee my DS1 is 2yrs 4 months and is a real handful. Took DS2 to the clinic this morning and while I was talking to the health visitor he was trying to pull the blinds apart, jumping on a shelving unit with a TV on top, trying to pull down their height chart etc.

Took DS2 as the last three mornings he has produced huge vomits after his morning feed. HV didn't seem worried though-said it was because he had gone so long without food and was taking too much(slept from 11pm til 7am last night which is pretty good for 7weeks-long may if last, though if course I am sure it won't.) He weighs 13lbs anyway so obviously the monstrous pukes are not stopping his weight gain.

Yay Willmouse well done clever girl!
Sooooo happy for you.

Still walking around the house mumbling "OMG, OMG"?
(I'm still doing it at 34+3)

May the Bonkers Magic spread and rule forever.

juanitad · 10/02/2009 15:22

Fab news Wilmouse, really pleased for you, so exciting!! Just think, the first bonkers baby was due in October and now the latest one is October a year later, so it just shows that this thread delivers the good luck consistently, and has been doing so for a whole year!!

Dying to hear news from Bellie, hope all is well with her and baby Bellie.

ChocolateEclair · 10/02/2009 16:26

Wooooooooo!!!!!!! The BFP's are flying in this month! Well done willmouse! As soon as you said about the vile taste in your mouth I thought you might be! And you're right - October is a fab month to have a baby! Don't worry about going on holiday at 27 weeks - you won't have a massive bump and it will be nice to get a little break before the hard bit comes!

I'm really happy for you! WELL DONE

Dawni · 10/02/2009 18:10

Hello everyone, hope all is well....

Just wanted to ask has anyone used clomid, im due to start tomorrow but im worried about the side affects and not sure if i want to use it as i then cant use the clearblue monitor to test when im ovulating !!! I just dont know what to do, im in a dilema and feeling low, due to willmouses fantstic news ive put off all day posting cause i didnt want to spoil the feel of the thread..... HELP

D xx

HumphreysCorner · 10/02/2009 18:29

Dawni-never feel you can't post. This thread is about sharing everything. I have no experience of Clomid but my friend took it for her first DS and she conceived fine. It is now called the twin pill now BTW so be prepared if you take it. I don't know about side affects or temping and using the Clearblue monitor but if you visit this thread I'm sure you will get some answers.

DawnAS · 10/02/2009 19:48

Hello all,

Willmouse, Congratulations!!, That's great news hun!!

CE, great news that your little one has turned - although the story does fill me with horror... You know about my sickness phobia so seriously, if my little girl ends up being breech, I'll be praying for her to stay there!!!

DH has started to feel our little girl kicking now which is lovely and since we have this week off work, we went to Ikea and bought all the nursery furniture. The rest of the week we're just going to chill out I think after all the decorating that poor DH has been doing.

I'm still really congested from my cold and unfortunately it's meaning that I can only sleep for an hour or so on and off through the night so I'm really knackered. Has anyone ever tried those "Breathe-right Strips" that you put on your nose to help you breathe. If I don't find something to help soon, I think I'm going to start going a bit doo-lally!!

I hope that everyone else is Ok today. I'm off now to make a cuppa before Holby's on.
