Fruity It could be early labour [wink[. Everyone I know with a breech baby has gone into labour before their due date . Maybe less sleeps than you think!! Mwhahahah.
Lola Just showed DP your scan pic and he was amazed. Am just taking it a day at a time. Have had funny pains today - like a poking but am putting this down to stretching. Also just had a nap because I felt tired so am trying to stay relaxed.

FruitynNutty · 10/03/2009 20:03

Oooh no Sparkly not early labour I think he's just dropped a bit so my pelvis and back are feeling the strain. I just tried to have a relaxing bath but should have realised I should have put DS to bed 1st. He moaned at me the whole time. I ignored him and he fell asleep on the sofa, I feel bad now, I'm not sure he's feeling too well. Gave him some Calpol and he was back asleep by 7:15.

My back's feeling a bit better now but I've started to walk like I've been horse riding for 12 hours Not attractive!
I'm glad you're managing to stay relaxed, keep at it lady!

FruitynNutty · 10/03/2009 20:06

teehee John Lewis you say..... Ok, looks like I'll be going to Kingston instead of Wimbledon at the weekend then!

FruitynNutty · 11/03/2009 10:08

Morning
How's everyone doing today? DS has a friend over this morning and they are playing Batman fighting games and being incredibly noisy I would take them all out but got a friend arriving with home made rock cakes in half an hour

I finally got my Childminding Capital Grant reply letter yesterday. They've said I can have £2,500. Don't get excited though. I've got to spend it on certain things which meet the EYFS criteria. I had to send them a list of the things I would like to buy and they sent it back with lots of crossings out I suppose I was a bit cheeky asking for a new fridge and tumble dryer I said I wanted to spend £900 on a new computer but they said I an spend up to £500 which is better than nowt!

What I don't get is I'm allowed to spend up to £500 on a triple buggy but I can't spend £40 on art resources

I'm thinking of buying the buggy and storing it until they come and check up on me then sell it. Good thing is I don't need to show receipts for anything under £50 so I'll tell them I've bought stuff we already have and pocket the cash
I have to spend it all on crap I don't need, basically. I just wish I could just keep the money. We don't actually need anything or have the space for anything.
Shouldn't complain though, I'm sure I can sell most of it when they've been round to check

HappyandEiknowit · 11/03/2009 10:51

hi ladies
fruity thats good news about your grant its a bit silly that you have to spend it on what they say but its a good idea to resell things when they have checked hope you are ok 7 sleeps to go
hope everyone else is ok

Lola beautiful baby!!! try www.natalhypnotherapy.co.uk/ for your hypnotherapy it's the British version of 'hynobirthing' which is actually a brand nam! I did a lot of research and booked mine with through this website!! Seems the same...possibly better as it is specifically designed with the British medical system in mind.

BellaHarry · 11/03/2009 18:17

...more to the point it's about half the price

Oh Mollie yes your body is playing nasty games with you

Just been trying to sort out this grant thing. They want the form in by 20th - that's next Thursday and something tells me I'll be a little busy next week so tying to get it out the way.

I can't believe I'll have my baby in my arms this time next week Got a busy weekend ahead of me too so I'm sure that will fly by.

Just about to upload probably my last bump pic!

SparklyPseudonym · 12/03/2009 16:41

Afternoon ladies,
An doing ok after brown spotting yday. Haven't seen anymore today and boobs are still feeling sore so will just have to sit it out until next Friday because EPU won't see me before and I'm not sure I want to go for a private scan .. have a presentation tomorrow so could do with burying my head in the sand for a while.
Fruity You can so tell your bump is a breech bump. It'll be gone this time next week!
Mollie Am so sorry she got you . Will be thinking of you so much tomorrow. xx
Bella Is your scan next week?
Ei [waves]

BellaHarry · 12/03/2009 19:17

Sparkly good luck hun, stay positive, glad the boobs are still sore. Not next week for my scan; week on Mon, the 23rd; doesn't time crawl when your waiting for these things?! x

Hello to everyone else!

I've moved my kittens's neutering forward as he keeps shagging the girl cat (Bella) and she's distaught, it really isn't her thing it's quite distressing to see her little scared face peering up at me from a corner as she cowers after a brutal attack

FruitynNutty · 12/03/2009 19:31

PMSL Bella

BellaHarry · 12/03/2009 19:58

fruity ???

FruitynNutty · 12/03/2009 20:10

(P myself laughing) at your cats

HappyandEiknowit · 12/03/2009 21:22

hi ladies
sparkly hope you are ok xx its stupid that the epu wont see you! our one is a drop in and you can just inform them you are worried and go in whenever you want. the difference in PCTs is staggering!!
fruity i agree with sparkly you can definitely tell your bump is breech!! i bet you cant wait now
bella i got my cat neutered when he started abusing my teddys that my sister gave me he was about 6 months then
mollie so sorry AF got you it will be me and you for the next cycle i think i am due AF next thursday if last cycle is anything to go by so we will know what is what then! me and DH have really given it good wellie this cycle so if im not up the duff then we have to take a month off as i will be having my HSG next cycle[nail biting emoticon] so i will be here to hold your hand and you will get your BFP and leave sad old me on the bench all alone[sob]hope you are ok
hello everyone else
xx ei xx

BellaHarry · 12/03/2009 21:56

Ei eeew that's gross....why do they have to have these urges...!?

HappyandEiknowit · 12/03/2009 21:58

haha bella i think its a male thing i think if i left DH to his own devices he would have a go at the teddies too
xx ei xx

teeheelaydee · 12/03/2009 22:29

Shouldn't need the teddies with your strict regime Ei - Neither you nor Mollie will be on the bench for long as you are both 'working' (ahem ) at it! We will be here to hold both your hands, although Fruity and I may not actually have a spare hand as such!

It must be so weird to know when your baby is coming and to be able to plan your weekend, don't do too much Fruity it's your last one - this time next week it will be done. How long do you have to stay in hosp for?

Sparkly Sooo glad the spotting seems to have stopped. Will still need another update tomorrow though!

Bella 6 months is the time when the testosterone kicks in - although mine didn't make their urges quite so obvious - no girl cats to tempt them!

Sorry if I've missed anyone but need to go to bed really. Baked cakes for Comic Relief sale at DP's school today. Although I say it myself they look fab - even thought of taking a picture but though I might be lynched if I posted cake pictures when I've been so slack with bump pics!

HappyandEiknowit · 12/03/2009 22:52

well teehee thats one of the reasons i am ahem...keeping him busy keeps the teddies clean at least [ewwwww] haha

xx ei xx

FruitynNutty · 13/03/2009 13:11

Oh look we have red noses

Molliemooma · 13/03/2009 15:07

Girls I really need some TLC and I apologise right now for the "me" post but I am having a day from hell

As you know it's EDD day for me, so been feeling crappy all week, but as I had my external interview for promotion I held it together. The interview went well but when I came out I found out that I hadn't got through internally although I have been doing two jobs at the grade above for the last 6 mths It's really knocked me for six I feel so F*cking useless, I can't get the job that I am already doing, I can't keep my babies alive, I can't stop crying! I just don't know what to do. I have to go into work on Monday and be all professional. I'm not going to get through externally as I used the same stuff so can't imagine for one minute it would be marked any differently.

I am so gutted I just can't pull myself together, I keep telling myself it's only a bloody job woman but it's not helping

FruitynNutty · 13/03/2009 15:48

Mollie I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time.
Here you go I've just taken a slice for me
