Thanks Devilsadvocate! CD120 sounds miserable in the extreme, good idea to correct it!

bubblebell1 · 22/01/2009 07:53

morning girls!

some of you sound so down so i am sending you all hugs.>

eeyore i really feel for you. it is so hard not knowing.. is this your first cycle since stopping the pill? sometimes it can take a while to settle.. dr didnt reassure me much just said af will arrive when she does (der we know that) and sent me for a bloodtest to see if i was pregnant and tests wernt picking it up. i just planned what i would do once af arrived. i ordered pre seed online, some more opks and hpts then just waited... and waited and waited...maybe your body tried to ov at day 14 but didnt manage it and tried again more recently... def do the hpt coz you could still fall pregnant before your af rears her ugly head. good luck xxxx

Morning All,

Feel a bit more human today although it is only 8am. I think I was just being the bitch from hell yesterday! People were eating too loudly and trying to talk to me (would you believe it! (blush) I am hoping I am going to be nice today as my colleagues will never talk to me again!

E-Bay cheapies arrived yesterday and course I had to test. There was the faintest faintest line if you held it up to the light and angled it slightly! (Oh dear) So still taking that as BFN. Has any one use the 10miu ones, early detection? Any comments would be appreciated.

Big Hugs to all not feeling at there best! x

theboob · 22/01/2009 08:31

cazza28 i used the ebay ones and only picked up the faintest line,i bought a more exspensive test and got a BFP,so did a digi and got pregnant 1-2 weeks
i did another ebay yesturday out of curiosity and still only had a faint line although darker than on sunday,i think the ebay are made to drive us insane!!!
hope you are all well today, hope your cycle sorts itself out soon eeyore
babt dust to you all *

aideesmum · 22/01/2009 08:46

Well I'm out for this cycle as AF arrived last night so disappointed. This gets harder each time.
Was so upset last night and not feeling much better today but must pick myself up AGAIN and wait for ov time.

Cazza28 · 22/01/2009 08:49

theboob when you say faint could you see it from an arms length away? I think I may get a difital if AF dosen't arrive Monday (They are so expensive!)

AngelFairy · 22/01/2009 09:16

Aidee... Sorry AF got you, chin up chick x We'll get her back this time!

theboob · 22/01/2009 09:21

sorry AF got you aidees >>

cazza28 no you could only see it in natural daylight, moving it around and it nearly touching your eyeit was hardly there at all really but i tested dh wee and compared them lol

girlwithacurl · 22/01/2009 09:55

theboob i can't believe you tested DH, what if it had been BFP!!!

I am so annoyed, going to join the grumpy corner! I think we might have missed the window, which seems mad as we BD'd loads, but think we started too early and were too exahusted to keep going . I got the positive OPK on Sun so BD'd Sun and Mon, but didn't last night or Tuesday. DP refused as I told him I was sore and he didn't want to hurt me. Got loads of EWCM yesterday (tmi sorry) so really confused as this is 3 days after the positive, think my body is playing games with me, wish it would be on my side for a change!

sorry, just feeling at the moment as I have to wait another 6 weeks with my stupidly long cycle (sorry eeyore know its not as bad as for you, don't know how you cope. It will happen for you though, it took ages after I came off the pill to settle down! never going on that evil thing again! )

Cazza28 · 22/01/2009 10:05

theboob you are funny! made me chuckle, thanks for your answers! I dont think my DH will let me do that? an idea though!

girlwithacurl the day of the positive opk and the night after are menat to be the best I think your timing was spot on!

girlwithacurl · 22/01/2009 10:30

thanks cazza that makes me feel better, just need to keep telling myself the same! guess i will find out for sure in 12 days! I am not the most patient person at the best of times!

think my DP would think I had gone mad if i tried to get him to poas...

dancingqueeen · 22/01/2009 11:40

hi, i've been away for a bit as not holding out much hope for this month, and trying to distract myself, but congrats theboob and idream, v pleased for you both! and keeping my fingers crossed for cazza28...

planing on testing saturday as my cycle is normally 30-32 days, just trying to find the strength not to test sooner. not hoping for much this month though with dh being away a lot and it being a pretty stressful month. plus absolutely no symptoms, even imagined ones (!) to 'spot' this month...

idreamofbeanie · 22/01/2009 12:20

dancing queen and girl- keeping my fingers crossed for you this month, you never know. My DP was also working away the week I ovulated so only managed to BD on days 11, 15 and 16. It must have been enough though. Also I should be 4 weeks pregnant and I don't have any symptoms (boobs are a bit sore but might just be from me poking them to see if they are tender yet ). In fact I don't feel different at all which makes it quite difficult to believe the BFP, well apart from AF staying away.

cazza - I used a first response test on Monday and got a very clear BFP then bought a digital test to use at lunchtime and got a second BFP. On Tuesday I got some cheapies delivered - they should be very sensitive but are just those strips rather than a stick IYKWIM - and thought well I might as well give them a go. I could barely make out the second line even holding it up to the light and tipping it so I'm not convinced they are the best if testing early. I would give it a few days (not that I managed to wait!) and try a digital test.

Right, going to have some lunch.

Hi to everyone else

smallone · 22/01/2009 12:24

Hi ladies, just wanted to post to say that I am reading the board and I am thinking of you all, just not posting much. Well done BFPs and chin up AFers.

I'm on CD12 and so far have managed CD6 and 9, should have BD'd last night but neither of us could be bothered! Not ov'd yet according to persona, but its looking likely in the next few days so am going to have to get the lucozade in. Had a really hormonal day yesterday, and today really. Do you think its possible to have Pre Ov Tension?

Went to the Gastro's on Monday and they're testing me yet again for coeliac and have told me that if its pos they'll have to put a camera down and do a biopsy and if its negative they'll put a camera up to see what else is going on. OH JOY!

Haven't mentioned through all this that we're ttc, so not sure now whether it makes a difference.

Catz · 22/01/2009 14:45

Hi All,

Cazza - I thought we were waiting till Monday! Sorry that things are getting you down. Angelfairy, really sorry to hear that AF arrived. Hope that you're enjoying the wine and soft cheese!

If anyone is thinking of getting expensive/digital tests, I did a Sainsbury's online shop the other day and they have money off clearblue pregnancy and ovulation tests. They've also got half price on pregnacare vitamins. I guess the same offers will be in the shop. I splashed out and got a two pack of clearblue digital with conception indicator for about £10, which is not cheap but better than full price. You can probably get cheaper on the internet but if you want one now you might want to take a look.

It arrived yesterday but I've not tried one yet (Catz polishes her halo!). AF due somewhere between Mon and Thurs so I will try to hang on till at least Monday....

amanda12 · 22/01/2009 15:12

Hi all
Some advice please im cd19 cycle is usually 30 days give or take a day or so. Can i stop bding we have done it for the last 14 days in a row and quite honestly i have had enough and need a night off!!!

Cazza28 · 22/01/2009 15:45

Catz I know, I couldn't help it when Mr Postie arrived with my parcel (grin) Deff going to get digital if the witch doesn't show on Monday!

amanda12 do you know when you ovulated? Sometimes you can ovulate late but going by text book rules, LP of 14 days you should ovulate day CD16 of a 30 day cycle (people correct me if I am wrong) so fertile up to day CD17 I think.

AngelFairy · 22/01/2009 15:47

Ha ha... Amanda, I reckon you've covered all bases. Did you notice any ewcm during your 14day marathon?

Cazza28 · 22/01/2009 16:57

ok I am off again until Monday (unless I get that stupid machine working at home!) Catz looking forward to your news and hopefully will have some myself. I have decided to go with positive thiking this month.

Good weekend and lots of baby dust to all xx

amanda12 · 22/01/2009 19:50

Thanks ANGEL and CAZZA think i ovulated on cd 12 ish had loads of ewcm and cramps. Thats me done then for at least a week!! Good luck to everyone whose testing over the next few days.

RubyBuckleberry · 22/01/2009 20:42

Hi everybody! I posted a message the other night but now it doesn't seem to be there. I put cr@p in it - is that allowed?

Work has been rubbish this week. I have been very emotional - possibly PMT and mild cramps which I think is signalling the arrival of AF boo . No other real symptoms. There is the odd one which I could probably fabricate but really nothing major. All will be revealed in the next few days. I am going to wait for AF to be totally late before testing, after last months BFP followed by AF bang on time, which is getting harder and harder every day. Step away from the pregnancy test! I only have one and it was well expensive and I don't actually have any more money till i get paid next week so I am going to have to wait! Probably a good thing.

theboob - lol your DH poas!!!
Good luck to everyone else testing and boo to all the BFNs/AFs. This TTC lark is a right minefield!

earlynite · 22/01/2009 21:25

I am itching to test!! AF due Saturday. I did a test a couple of days ago which was negative of course. Don't think this is my month as I feel very pre-mens. This is only my 1st month of TTC and I am a wreck already! Never had this with DS as he was a slip up (so to speak) xxxx

DevilsAdvocaat · 22/01/2009 21:33

rubybuck, are you shitting me? of course you aren't fucking allowed to write cr@p

lol

Morning all, BDed last night and was greeted this morning by an egg symbol on my persona, Hurrah! Just got to keep it going over the next few days, which happens to be the busiest weekend I've had in a year, but nevermind. I've worked out I could test on the 9th feb which is my mates due date, so that would be really nice if I could know I was pg when hers is born, assuming they don't come early that is!
