I knew you were gonna get a BFP smallone, that spotting was too much of a sign! I'm so chuffed for you. Sticky vibes coming your way and I really hope I'll be joining you on the due in October thread in a couple of weeks.

AmandaHugankiss · 10/02/2009 17:43

fantastic news - huge congratulations to you smallone.

latestarter, not really sure when due, this is first cycle having had coil removed in jan. between 2 pregnancies, breastfeeding and the coil, I haven't had a period for about 7 years, but they used to be regular 28 day jobbies which would make me due on Thursday.

pavlovthecat · 10/02/2009 18:30

smallone YEY! congratulations and good luck for the next few weeks, and beyond! What great news!

lovelylullaby · 10/02/2009 19:48

totalmisfit · 10/02/2009 20:57

congratulations smallone! I knew we were due some more BFPs on this thread!

JumpingJellyfish · 10/02/2009 21:23

Congratulations smallone- that is really wonderful news! Here's to a long, happy, healthy & uneventful pregnancy! Good luck xx

pedalmonster · 10/02/2009 21:50

wwwooooohooooo smallone that is great news! Congratulations!
Pavlov - go ahead and do the test! I cracked under pressure this morning from my friend who has just had #3 - ofcourse it was BFN - then I was angry with myself all day!!!
Although still having boob issues - so will only test on Sunday now. ANd thinking back to TTC#1 i tested when I was 3 days late and the line was hardly there...
Thanks for the website info latestarter.
Back at work from tomorrow again so happy happy valentines day all!
x

ForcesSweetheart · 11/02/2009 08:35

All my signs seem to be saying I ov'd on Sunday, CD15. That's unheard of for me! I usually ov cd19 or thereabouts. Hard to be sure as my sleep pattern has been up the spout since the weekend so temps all over the place, but CM has been completely gone since the weekend, and ov sticks were as close to positive as I've ever got on Saturday (couldn't test on Friday as was waiting for new supply of sticks in post) and have got fainter since to the point of no LH at all picked up yesterday. Luckily we got some BDing in on CD 14 and 15 so hopefully we caught it. I wonder if the 200mg b6 daily has made me ov earlier than usual - here's hoping it works on my LP too now? DH drove home last night as planned but we didn't even bother BDing- both so knackered we just enjoyed him being home on a night he wouldn't normally and relaxed. Joining the 2WW'ers now.

smallone · 11/02/2009 08:45

Thankyou all for all your lovely messages, made me quite teary, blooming hormones!

girl Hadn't mentioned to Dr that I was ttc, they were testing me for gastric problems, which I won't gross you out with here! My colonoscopy appt came through the other day for march so I'm guessing I'll have to postpone it. Hopefully pg hormones will cancel out probs anyway.

Baby dust to all xx

Gateau · 11/02/2009 08:46

Congrats smallone and hi to everyone else.
I also got a BFP this morning. I am happy, but very cautiously happy, in view of my two consectutive mcs last year. But fingers crossed, legs, everything is crossed for this one!!
Am not joining any antenatal threads until I know (hopefully!) everything is okay.
Good luck to you all.

AmandaHugankiss · 11/02/2009 09:32

Congrats to you too Gateau - hope all goes well.
Just to buck the recent and very happy trend AF arrived for me yesterday. Feel physically lousy - over 7 years since I had a period - time had dulled my memory of just how unpleasant they are.

latestarter2009 · 11/02/2009 11:17

congrats smallone and gateau...............extra sticky vibes for you both

amandahugankiss i had been going to congratulate you for managing not to have a period for seven years, but now might not be the right time! commiserations

any news pavlov...i'm pretty much convinced i'm not pg, so i'm actually managing to hold of on the tests now which is pretty stupid considering i couldnt stop doing them when it was way too early!

ForcesSweetheart · 11/02/2009 13:15

Congrats gateau sticky sticky sticky vibes for you.

Sorry AF got you amanda, good luck for this cycle.

Have any of you had the day 21 blood test? If I ov'd on Sunday as I suspect I won't be able to do it 7dpo as GP instructed, so would you go for 5dpo (friday) or 8dpo (monday)? And why? Have started a new thread asking this but not had much in the way of responses as yet and I need to book the appt this afternoon if poss.

Latestarter - I beleive I have started AF. Feel free to convince me otherwise but as much as I would like it to be implantation bleeding, its not is it . AF signs been here for a few days, bloated, neaseus (sp, never get it right), irritable/hormonal, then had slight back ache which went away again. Yesterday had vague brown spotting, which has got a bit heavier. Now it is like a really really mild period, but not 'fresh' yet, along with some mild stomach cramping. I know I should know whether this one is it, but not had a 'proper' AF for a good few years, and sort of expected this to get heavy quite quickly, but its teasing me.

Congratulations Gateau!!!!!!!

totalmisfit · 11/02/2009 15:18

oh pavlov, how rotten for you. i dont want to try and convince you otherwise as it might not help you feel any less confused/pissed off. Only thing i can suggest is to attempt a distraction of some kind while you wait and see... don't know if you're at home or work though... maybe curl up tonight with a really cheesy film and some comfort food if you feel up to it, something like that?

hope you're ok anyway, xx

totalmisfit · 11/02/2009 15:19

forgot to say congratulations Gateau! sticky dust sprinkled liberally in your direction!

latestarter2009 · 11/02/2009 16:11

well pavlov...on the positive side, the spotting and nausea sound very similar to what smallone was experiencing and she got her bfp...but yes could just be AF..sometimes I wonder if these boards are too supportive and we encourage each other to hold out false hope that is actually unsupportive...who knows....either way i hope you get an answer soon and of course that it's the right one

the big question, have you done a test?

pavlovthecat · 11/02/2009 16:43

Thanks all. No test. DH thinks its a waste of time. I told him AF has most likely started, and he said, good job you didn't waste money on a test then! If I go buy one now, he will think I am completely nuts! He thinks that already as I got excited that I might be pg so soon!!! I like the idea of comfort food...we are having macaroni cheese as DH is a bit under the weather, I might get some Phish food for pudding ...

latestarter2009 · 11/02/2009 19:06

macaroni cheese...yum...just what i need

lovelylullaby · 11/02/2009 19:13

Congrats Gateau. Glad to hear you think you were spot on with your BD dates forces. Commiserations amanda, at least you can start to work out your proper cycle so fingers crossed for you for next month.

Still no AF here, I honestly have no inclination to test. Stomach still feels as though it's 'busy', and my work clothes are definately getting tighter. Not sure if i'm just trying to convince myself but I really think my waist is starting to thicken too. At least I'm enjoying playing guessing games and symptom spotting, while the days go by.

pavlovthecat · 11/02/2009 21:10

Alas, I to bid you all adieu and will see some on the 'November' thread, although hopefully those still here, some at least will not join us! I feel very very yucky as AF has just decided to hit me with full force.... One of the down sides of coming off contraception eh? Best hope I get lucky soon, if only to avoid any re-occurances of this horrid time of the month

Good luck to all those waiting...lovelylullaby - sounds promising!

latestarter2009 · 12/02/2009 11:01

you and me both pavlov...just got AF...really weird as I was really queasy yesterday and even during the night, so of course I had reconvinced myself that I was pg.

anyway, off to the November thread, the absolute best of luck for everyone still on the 2ww.....xx

totalmisfit · 12/02/2009 14:26

Latestarter and Pavlov so sorry to hear that awful AF witch arrived. Lots of babydust and fingers crossed for November.

lovelylullaby sounds very likely that this could be your lucky month. how long do you think you'll wait before testing?

AF is due tomorrow. not feeling very pg or anything. boobs not so sore or heavy any more. i expect i was just reading things into the way i feel most months anyway. sorry if this sounds horribly pessimistic, i suppose my hopes keep raising over little things and now i'm just trying to calm them down again.

At least my tww is drawing to a close, either way, if only for this month.

eeyore2 · 12/02/2009 14:59

Hi all, congrats on the recent graduates! Sorry about the AFs as well.
I am still here, currently on a big family holiday with the in-laws which is driving me slightly round the bend. On CD 18 and no sign of ovulation yet, but am continuing on with the BD'ing marathon and crossing my fingers it won't be another endless cycle. Starting to get a bit nervous now but trying to think really positively...I WILL ovulate soon!
