OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

Haha, yep, that's it. As you can see the sperm-people are kind of disturbing!

As far as I could understand, gourmet sex is like dining at the Ritz compared to take-away from Wimpy. Apparently, it has something to do with the speed and quantity at which the sperm are expelled.

Oh, God, I knew this would end up being embarrassing - Mollie I don't think I could do the legs up in the air thingy, DH would just laugh at me. It's bad enough (for me) to be contemplating lying on a pillow afterwards . And we don't use lube either ...

beanieb · 24/04/2009 18:03

oh - so a quickie is bad but a big long love session is Gourmet? Hmmmmmmmmm

PistachioLemon · 24/04/2009 18:07

That's it!

beanieb · 24/04/2009 18:11

gourmet sex

PistachioLemon · 24/04/2009 18:14

You got it.

I'd forgotten the bit where they showed a pig farmer arousing the pig! Ewwww!

PistachioLemon · 24/04/2009 18:29

Oops, sorry, that was probably a bit of thread killer again

blackrock · 24/04/2009 19:24

I read about this gourmet theory too, and agree about ov kits and time of the month. DH seems to be out or away on the peak day, so no luck there at the moment.

By the way, I slip off the side of the bed, legs in the air, head on the ground. Worked for DS1, so worth trying again. Forst time I tried elevation, was when I conceived DS1. We had been trying for a year before that.

beanieb · 24/04/2009 20:21

Right! Thanks Blackrock - I am Deffo doing that tonight Can't wait to see my OH's face!

ClaireDeLoon · 25/04/2009 09:51

meh, spotting last night. Another short cycle. I don't temp or do ovsticks anymore but when I did I usually had 29 day cycles, ovulating on day 15 with a 14 day LP. I've had 3 26 day cycles in a row now so either my LP has changed or I'm ovulating earlier. Not that it really matters though I suppose.

Sore boobs and only day 16...DH thought they looked bigger. Oh, hope on a string, why not...

beanieb · 26/04/2009 13:46

Oh these things are sent to try us!

Am just starting the TTW. Good luck blackrock!

ClaireDeLoon bugger Sorry to see you back at the top.

PistachioLemon · 26/04/2009 15:29

Blackrock sore boobs are the worst, I swear every month that they are really really sore but then realise it's probably because I've been constantly poking them [PL is a durr-brain emotion]. Hopefully yours are sore for a different reason!

Beanie I'm nearly in the 2WW myself so I shall be joining you for lots of lovely symptom spotting soon.

Claire has AF arrived yet? If so

Hi to everyone else, hope you're enjoying the glorious sunshine this weekend.

Oh and just in case you wondered, I tried the cushion/pillow last night... and twas not so bad. Not sure how long it'll take me to graduate to full on legs in air hanging off the bed position, it's very tempting especially as it might work...perhaps next time [PL working up courage emotion].

Was asked if i was PG this week, so now on another diet.

I have stopped any alcohol, snacks and am just eating smaller portioned meals, but am always slow to lose/gain.

Have lost a pound so far.

beanieb · 01/05/2009 10:43

Hi all - just popping in to say 'hi'
I have terrible back pain on the lower right side, probably from driving to Cornwall and back.

Blackrock I seriously need to shape up and was planning on starting to do some excercise but am in too much pain! Did cycle to work most of last week though.

PistachioLemon are you now officially in the TWW?

PistachioLemon · 01/05/2009 15:10

Afternoon ladies, gosh it's quiet on here.

Beanie Sorry to hear about your back, driving is the worst for that I find. You'll have to get your DH to rub it better for you.

Oh, and I'm not sure whether I'm on the 2WW yet or not! Basically (TMI on it's way, but hey ho, why change the habit of a lifetime) I'm now on CD18, and had a dip in temps on CD16 with slightly higher temps yesterday and this morning BUT I'm still getting CM, not the full blown egg-white stuff (which hasn't appeared yet this month), but sort of watery stuff instead so I'm kind of confused and wonder whether this might mean I haven't ovulated yet.

BIL is back but we've carried on anyway just in case, although not every day - I really don't know how people do that with busy lives and having been together for ages!

Blackrock do sex and gardening count as exercise?!? That's all I've managed for the past couple of weeks!

Hello to everyone else - I hope you're off doing very interesting things and are not just ignoring us... come back everyone!

PistachioLemon · 01/05/2009 15:53

Afternoon Glastochick, how are you doing? Sorry to see the witch got you.

glastochick · 01/05/2009 16:33

Bit depressed to be honest Pistachio

Just found out one of my oldest friends is pregnant, with twins. Am pleased for her, but feel upset as it will never happen naturally for us without assistance. Sitting at work feeling a bit empty and wishing I could go home to curl up on the sofa with the mogs.

Am also v.v to see so many of us old timers still on the list [hmmm]

Sorry, bringing the mood of the thread down here!

Hope everyone has a great long weekend, and that the weather stays nice wherever you are!

PistachioLemon · 01/05/2009 16:40

Oh Glasto , it's horrible isn't it. I feel the same way when close friends tell me they're pregnant - you're so pleased for them but at the same time the green-eyed-monster rears its ugly head and then you feel mean for being jealous. It just isn't fair or rational.

Sending you lots of virtual hugs.

beanieb · 01/05/2009 20:07

*glastochick We seem to be following the same sad path. My best friend announced her pregnancy a couple of weeks ago. She found it really hard to tell me I think. I am so pleased for her but can't help feeling envious and am desperately trying to keep it together whenever I see her as I really don't want to bring her down.

My other best friend has 3, but had them all before I became so obsessed with the whole thing so I don't feel envious of her so much.

Am sending you lots of virtual hugs too. I just hope some of us who have been on the list the longest have some good news soon.

BTW, will you be going to Glastonbury this year?
