Morning ladies
MrsH thanks so much for the vits and CBD - my DH picked them up on Friday for me as they didn't fit through the door. My DH was gazing at the bottle of vits this morning and sagely told me that the smoky glass effect just makes them look like they'll work . I've decided the CBD hpt can be my lucky test and I'll hold out on using it til the IVF [excited emoticon]. And I bet your daughter's a total treat!
GG hello lady! Hope things are good with you
Ei yay yay yay for the BFP . And from what RFN2&3 says those cheapie tests are the job . I'm delighted for you but shall be keeping my fingers crossed for you that this little bean is burrowing in nice and snugly.
PnM So I guess my ov predicting isn't too shoddy after all (though actually I think it's just cos my own temps are a bit off too so can sometimes guess what FF will say!). Double at your cycles...have you ever been tested for thyroid function? That could be a useful test as hypo-/hyper-thyroidism can impact on cycles/ttc and your GP would have to give you the test if you hoodwink him properly (ie don't talk about your cycles in terms of fertility but as one of a list of symptoms that could indicate thyroid probs...you could even say that you spoke to NHS direct who recommended you ask for a thyroid bloodtest from your GP). I'm a bit at even having to suggest subterfuge like this [honestly, I don't routinely lie to my GP!) but your doc sounds so so rubbish () that you need every trick in the book!!
MOB hope you're doing well. Are you seeing the consultant today? Hope it goes well xxx
Bucky hope you had a good weekend
RFN2&3 hope you're thriving and the twins are going well
Waves to JB (any more teeth for jollycub?) and anyone I've missed.
Well we had an utterly lovely weekend. My little nieces are great fun, so even the odd teary outburst or whatever was fine (comedy moments included the younger one pooing in the bath - she's just turned two and definitely isn't ready for potty training yet!). We went to a children's farm on Sat and then took them to a picnic by the river yesterday (as the thames is at the end of their road). The glorious weather helped .
And my seedlings are starting to come up. Tis quite amazing to follow their progress, especially as when I left on Friday morning there were no courgette seedlings up and when I got back on Sunday night there were two with such big leaves that they look like proper plants already! I'm a convert though am still convinced I'll manage to kill everything in the end .
And my SIL had a baby boy on Friday night - Ultan Xavier, 8lb2oz, with mum and baby doing well (though he may have a heart murmur but the docs are saying not to worry about that apparently). Ultan's a fairly unusual Irish name and Xavier was my dad's middle name. Rather selfishly I was glad they didn't call him Richard!! That was my dad's name and I've wanted to call a son after my dad since I was a little kid. Can you tell I still spend far too much time imagining what we'll call our kids
OK, enough rambling from me. Sorry this is such a massive post!!
