Ceebee massive congratulations! Well done you. Loving his names.

BB fantastic news.

Majormoo Thank you. Nice to see you. x

Dawn how are you doing? Looking forward to w/e?

Knax so sorry to hear about your scary time. We'll 'hand hold' on Tuesday for sure.

Juanitad hope you had a nice day in town. Any minute now methinks...

MJIM how is Naomi doing? Much better I hope.

DaisyJ nice to see you!

BSL I'm crossing everything for you and HC - you both deserve it. Grab some baby dust: * HC how are you feeling? Did you have any implantation symptoms with the girls?

HM2J how is little Zack doing?

CE mmmm... stew...

Waves to everyone else.

Yesterday DH's manager broight his one-year-old daughter to work. DH was totally enchanted, saying he got an impulse to kidnap her .
Never seen him like this.
Oh, and I think we may have agreed on some names...
Have a lovely w/e all.
xx

HumphreysCorner · 21/11/2008 17:38

Knax-hope you are OK and that the scan is fine.

Mandy-good luck with your scan too, not long until Tuesday. Have you bought a name book? Bet you have.

ceebee, Heartmum and MJIM, hope the babies are OK especially little Naomi.

ChocEclair-it is freezing here too in Lincolnshire. I cannot get warm.

I never had implantation symptoms with my girls or the one I miscarried. Will Not be POAS ever as I can't stand the disappointment. Am truly a reformed character. No spotting since and feel so rotten still with this cold I can't even symptom spot as I can't tell if my symptoms are PG related or cold related. FF won't recognise impantation unless it happens between day 5 and 10 and mine was day 4.

Must get some tea on so catch y'as later.

Hi everyone,

HC - I'm up your way tomorrow, as DH wants to do some wildlife photography somewhere in Lincolnshire (embarassingly I don't know where), and I'm tagging along for the ride. I will make sure I wear thermals!! I am very hopeful for you this month!!

Mandy - Good news about deciding on some names!

CE - It's freezing down south too! Be care in the snow this weekend!! I am sure none of you guys are going to look like christmas baubles, just lovely pregnant ladies!!

Waves to all....Myjob - is everything okay with Naomi??

BSL x

HumphreysCorner · 21/11/2008 19:26

Blimey bluestar, you've got a bit of a trek tomorrow. You are not near either Twickenham/Richmond/Kingston are you?

HC - DH has come home and we are postponing as the weather is supposed to be not good...We're in SE London, not near Richmond etc...why? We used to live in Ealing though and we're only 45 mins from that area. We're planning reschedule for next weekend. DH says we're going soemwhere near Grimsby...

Myjob - phew! I'm glad little Naomi is a little better!!

BSL x

HumphreysCorner · 21/11/2008 22:22

bluestar-I am virtually in Grimsby. Where on earth is the wildlife area near us? Re Richmond etc-my uncle used to live in Whitton near Twickers and I went to all those places every December for lots of years until DD1 was born. Used to go with my mum and dad, staying at my uncle's house-great fun and lots of shopping in Kingston.

Hi HC,

I think we were planning to go and see the seals at Donnanook and then there's supposed to be a reservoir which often gets rare migrating birds stopping over. My DH is an editor on a bird photography website and he said he often sees loads of good photos coming in from around there.

I love Richmond and Kew area! It's really fab for shopping. I lived in Ealing for a few years and loved it too! Some times I miss it, but I love living in the village where I grew up.

BSL x

HumphreysCorner · 22/11/2008 11:11

Ah yes, Donna Nook. People come from miles to see the seals, mum and dad go sometimes. The reservoir will be Covenham I should think which is where my friend lives. Her DH spends every spare minute bird watching on the reservoir.

Have had a big temp dip today so waiting for the imminent arrival.

Off to look at artificial Christmas trees this afternoon as on the news it said that Nordman Fir real trees are going to be over £50. Can't run to that anymore. Also, have cleared all the toys out of the lounge and am attempting to fit them in the girls' bedrooms ready for the visit from Santa.

Better go as need to supervise.

Big Wave!

bluestarlavender · 22/11/2008 11:35

OOOh, HC, I am getting so excited about Christmas!! I can't wait to put up our christmas tree! We bought an artificial one last year. It's scary how much the real ones are getting these days!! Good luck! Also sorry about the temp dip...but I am still hopeful for you!!

Hope everyone else is having a lovely weekend! It's freezing here, but nice and sunny.

MJIM so happy little Naomi is doing better. (DH is v fond of her name btw...)

BSL freezing here too. Did a massive clean today, bought some hyacinths & ordered our tree!

HC it's all v odd what's going on. Have you made an appointment to see someone? x

No name books here - we're such a melting pot of a couple ethnically/culturally and really want names that reflect our heritages without being too contrived/weird - and that go with the surmane.
We both have pretty unusual names irl and nothing but good came of that.
So little one is either:

Greta Elisabeth
or
Felix Isac

Love to everyone - wrap up warm!

detoxdiva · 22/11/2008 17:48

Hi everyone

Flew back in from the Middle east this morning after the most amazing week in the sun with our friends - temp was a steady 32-34 degrees every day - bliss . Had a great time, but am now freezing my bits off - goodness it's cold here, I want to go back

Am v tired so will have an early night and catch up properly tomorrow, but on quickly whizzing throught the posts I have to say congratulations to Ceebee & dh - fab news, and welcome to Hannah - good luck ttc

Still no sign of af here - mc was 6 weeks ago so am expecting it soon , and will get cracking again with dh after that!!

Well, another day has gone by with no sign of this little one wanting to come out! Just been for a lovely walk - it's a gorgeous day here. Walked for a good 45 mins - was totally knackered, but thought it might encourage baby out! Nothing yet though. Looking forward to seeing pics of ceebee's new bub when she gets home (how long would a hosiptal stay usually be after a cs?)

Anyway, hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

HumphreysCorner · 23/11/2008 16:40

detox-sounds very glam 'just flew back in from the Middle East' Lovely to see you back and so pleased you had a great time. Bet you are cold as I am freezing BBBRRRHHH!!! AF won't be far away-I seem to remember this was about the time mine returned post MC. I was slightly pleased to see her as it meant I could TTC properly.

Mandy-great names, I wonder which one you will get to use.

juanitad-your baby just wants to stay warm in this cold weather.

MJIM-9 weeks already. You will be weaning her soon.

Had another temp drop this morning so ho hum. How are you feeling bluestar?

Have joined the TTC 35 and over thread and it would appear I am not the only one to have a cycle suddenly shorten to 21 days.

Big wave!

detoxdiva · 23/11/2008 19:30

Ha ha HC - wish the flight was glam....7 hours overnight with a 2.10yo . Actually she was a little star, and coped much better than dh who hates flying

Mandy - love the names, esp Greta - very pretty. I only know 1 Felix - think it is a great name too.

ceebee74 · 23/11/2008 21:04

Will catch up as soon as I can but I have put a couple of photos on my profile

HumphreysCorner · 23/11/2008 21:16

Aw ceebee-he is gorgeous. Congratulations again.

bluestarlavender · 24/11/2008 09:18

Morning all,

Ceebee - he's little cutie!! and his big bro looks lovely too!

HC - oh no about the temp drop, but no sign of AF either?

Detox - oooh hope it was a lovely trip!! Did your DD sleep on the flight? And do they still let you have a seat at the front, or is that just for babies?

Mandy - I love the names too! Both are really original. It's so hard to pick a name that you love but isn't too common. Oooh and now you've mentions hyacinths I think I want to order some too! I just love the smell.

Juanitad - how's your little one, still wanting to stay in the warm...?

Mjjob - I'm so glad Naomi is loads better now and is doing a good job of giving her mummy some sleep!

I did a HPT Sat and Sun and both BFN - of course. It was probably a little early, but it was 10 and 11 DPO - so I went with HC's theory and had a try. DH says if we get PG before any help it'll be a bonus and we both agree that we'll just assume we're not each month and if it happens...well then we've been lucky. AF due on Wednesday and not looking forward to it!

Big waves to everyone.

BLS x

HumphreysCorner · 24/11/2008 09:35

bluestar-sorry about your BFN's. I am not testing at all. CD 19 DPO 11 and FF says AF due Wednesday. Had a miniscule temp rise this morning but temps still low. Hope our AF's stay away. Cramps are dreadful so am sure she is imminent.

Hi to everyone else. juanitad-could today be the day?

HC
x

bluestarlavender · 24/11/2008 11:42

OOh HC, we might be starting CD1 together on Wednesday! Altho I think it's odd you are getting such strong cramps this early! Not at all convinced it's AF for you!! Hoping for a BFP for you instead!

BSl x

Mandy73 · 24/11/2008 12:16

Ceebee he is beautiful! Well done you.
MJIM so happy Naomi is better.
Detoxdiva welcome back!
BSL so sorry about the BFNs.
HC sorry to hear about the cramps.
Juanitad hang in there! Any minute now I think... x

Waves to everyone else, I hope you had a nice w/e.

Thanks for liking our names. I'm a bit nervous about the artery doppler scan tomorrow - it's been such a long wait to try to find out what the heck is wrong with me if anything.
Feeling quite overwhelmed and hormonal about it all now. I guess things have a way of catching up on you.

Love to everyone.
xx
