Just got back from our weekend away to find DP turning computer on saying - find out if HM2J has had the baby then!!!

I'm so happy for you - he is utterly gorgeous and very cute - I would love a little cuddle. I only got half way through the first line of your post before bursting into tears lol! (you were the 1st person to get a BFP a few days after I joined BONKERS if I remember correctly!)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

I love the name Zach as well - what do his brothers make of him then?????

3 more babies to come now before Santa xxxx

Bellie opens the door gingerly and holds out the white flag to apologise for not being here for son long.......

Hello everyone - sorry it has been ages, but so much has been happening - what with fil passing away, the funeral trying to sort mil out (she doesn't have a clue about finances - can't even write a cheque). Then my mum had bronchitus. DD went back to school after half term and I was so exhausted I fell asleep and didn't wake up to pick her up , and now dd has chickenpox!!

Congratulations to Heartmum - what a fantastic way to come back to the thread!

Hope everyone else is doing well, and I promise to catch up and post more!

xx

bluestarlavender · 10/11/2008 11:38

Morning everyone and huge huge congratulations for HM2J!!! Zack's gorgeous! and I love the name!

Back from a very nice weekend away! And we spent the day yesterday with our pregnant friends and their little boy who's 3. It was really nice and I'm so glad I didn't bottle out of going. They didn't go on about PG much at all and we had great fun with their DS, who is adorable and so well-behaved.

Mandy - thanks for your words! I agree with everything you said. I think the bit that makes it harder is just DH's sperm test results. It is quite likely that we can't get PG naturally, despite trying. But I am trying to be positive! Work is an absolute nightmare at the moment...some very unpleasant bullying has been going on for about 18 months (not towards me or anything, but it's affected the whole department). Hard to throw myself into, when there's horrid stuff going on.

Waves to all!

Morning everyone,

I hope all is well.

BSL I'm so happy you had a good time but sorry to hear the atmosphere at work isn't good.

I think the bit that makes it harder is just DH's sperm test results. It is quite likely that we can't get PG naturally, despite trying.

I absolutely understand that. But well done for having it investigated so early. It gives you a great advantage against time. And children can come to you in a variety of ways...

Love to everyone, have a good day.

detoxdiva · 10/11/2008 18:55

Evening all

HM2J - congratulations on the safe arrival of baby Zach. He is gorgeous - well done you!

BSL - good to hear from you. Glad you had a good weekend. It must be hard to stay positive, but like Mandy says, children can arrive in a variety of ways. My best friend is currently pg with her third (naturally conceived) child after being told that her and her dh would probably never have children . Please don't lose hope

Bellie - welcome back. Hope things improve for you soon

CE - glad you had a good weekend. I love the scan pics still, and keep going back to have another look

Hope everyone else is well. All ok here chez Detox. DD is back in the saddle and while I know that the advice is to wait a full cycle until ttc again, I am taking a chance that I may just catch a lucky egg soon .

bluestarlavender · 10/11/2008 19:37

Back from work and had the most horrendous drive back...someone please tell me what's going on with the weather. I drive a 4x4 (it's a height compensator for the fact I am very short ) but I was struggling through flood water all over the place. Roads in London were closed due to flooding!!

Knax - how did your DH take the news and how are you feeling?? It's exciting, and I hope you are enjoying being PG...

Detox - I don't think trying to catch a lucky egg now is a bad idea! Fingers crossed for a lovely BFP for you soon! How are you doing?

Waves,

BSL x

soosy · 10/11/2008 20:20

Massive congrats to HM2J fantastic news and although not at home a pretty good arrival! We need pics of your new boy, Zach!

BSL, I hate to say this but reading your posts is a bit Deja vu for me. When we discovered we had problems conceiving I had a terrible time at work lots of pressure and a boss trying to con us out of our pension it was a nightmare. But I do know that whatever the lab results say, it is possible to have a baby with low sperm count we were told that it does happen by my clinic and it did happen to a friend (although she had ICSI for her second baby.) I also agree about the weather it is foul, we have a river at the bottom of the Garden and it is looking mighty high.

HC just enjoy christmas!

Love to everyone else

Knax · 10/11/2008 20:41

Hi all,

BSL

  • I agree re the weather, what's going on! Wrote my car off in the floods last year so I think the worst when attempting a puddle! DH was delighted with the news but he's also really nervous due to our last mmc. I'm trying not to get paranoid, but am looking forward to some morning sickness in a few weeks as I didn't have it with mmc, so it will reassure me. (I'm sure I'll feel differently if I do get MS Sorry to hear that you've been feeling down re your DP results - keeping everything crossed for you (cliche I know but true).

Evening all! Hi Myjob and Juanitad!

I'm busy cooking tonight! have any of you guys been watching that BBC food series What to Eat Now with Valentine Warner. We're making pumpkin soup and onions in puff pastry for dinner from one of the episodes! I am very excited!

Anyhow, hope everyone is doing well and bumps, babies and eggs are behaving themselves!

Ooh Bluestar - we had a massive cook-a-thon of cooking pumpkin soup at the weekend!! We had pumpkins that we grew and managed to make 15 servings that we have frozen. May be a godsend when beanie arrives and I have no energy to cook then! Hope yours goes well!

Mjim - I am always amazed as how you keep track of us all -yes I am 29 weeks on Thur and am starting to slow down a bit now. Finding it hard to be up and down all the time with dd. Little monkey- even though she has chicken pox it doesn't seem to slow her down at all!

Juanitad - are you next then? Iam sorry but I can't remember your dates.

Hope everyone else is well xx

Bellie · 11/11/2008 20:48

duh ignore my questions Juanitad - you are due next week if I had bothered to read your previous post - sorry!
