Well, back from the midwife. Baby is 3/5 engaged - so exactly the same as 2 weeks ago, at my last appointment! Very disappointing. MW has given me tips on getting the head fully engaged so I am more ready for labour. Have a sweep booked for next Tuesday, and the following Monday will be my induction day if baby STILL hasn't arrived, as that is when I will be 42 weeks. So one way or another I should have my baby by Monday 1st December at the latest! I hope!!!!

MJIM - sounds like little Naomi has had a tough time of it over the last few days, and you too! Hope she is fighting fit again soon.

No news yet of Ceebee. I will wear out the refresh button if I am not careful, lol!

MJIM, how awfully scary for you & Naomi. I am glad the inhalor worked and hope she is feeling much better soon, poor little love.

BSL, glad you had better news at the appt and that you got the first test out of the way. Fingers crossed for more good results.

HC, I am sorry to hear you are confused by your cycle, it does sound odd. I have my fingers crossed that it is implantation too.

Juanitad, I wouldn't worry about baby's head not being fully engaged, none of mine engaged before labour started. Still sending all the labour vibes I have!

Zack has been really unsettled all morning, wouldn't let me put him down. I did put him in the wrap sling but as it isn't a stretchy material, I had to take him out to breastfeed as I couldn't work out how to nurse him while in the sling for the life of me, lol! See, even us experienced parents have a steep learning curve with each new baby! Thankfully he is alseep right now. So going to make myself a cuppa while it's quiet (the boys are watching their hour of tv, thier choice to do it straight after lunch.)

ceebee - can I be the first to congratulate on here? So happy for you and your gorgeous strapping boy. Love the name, too.

Bit cheeky really as I've been too busy to post at all, and just caught up by reading the last page of this lovely fresh new thread.

Will try to catch up properly, but won't have access to email again till Monday (long story). Will come back to check who is now bonked, and to update on stats. Had 20 week scan on Monday at 21+2 - it was fab, and the sonographer was great and kept saying how 'lovely' baby Bo looks!

to everyone.

Oh, and CE - haven't seen you on Spring Babies thread for a while - hope you haven't given up on us...

Heartmum2Jamie · 20/11/2008 18:31

Ceebee!!! Here you are! I have been refreshing the antental thread all day, lol! Congratulations hon ans welcome Samuel Jake! I can't wait to see him.

Yay Ceebee!! Wonderful name too! I really really like it!!

Any pix yet?? I haven't checked your profile.

Lovely to see you Daisy!! So glad the scan went well!

HM2J - hope you got your cuppa! How's Zack doing now? Hopefully he'll settle back again after his disrupted night the other day.

Myjob - I think it's amazing and scary how quickly Naomi arrived!! I'm glad you made to the hospital. I had a friend a few years back who had her first baby in about 3 hours from going into labour! I'd never heard of such a thing. She thought it was going to happen in the hospital car park!

HC - any news on the spotting?? And any other symptoms?? I am praying for a lovely BFP for you. We're due another one, and it must be your turn!

Big waves to everyone!

Sorry, completely forgot to say fantastic news about your sis, BB!!!

I hope this is the start of lots more positive things for you!!

HumphreysCorner · 20/11/2008 19:54

Oh belgianbun-so sorry, I forgot to say about your sister too. Sounds better news doesn't it?

bluestar-no more spotting but AF cramps are awful. My chart is looking strange so will see what tomorrow's temp is. You so deserve a BFP. Hope you fall PG naturally.

majormoo · 20/11/2008 20:06

congratulations Ceebee. What a big baby! Hope you are feeling OK.

MJIM how scary. Hope Naomi improves soon

Mandy of course you can get thinking about stuff..

Juanitad-agree with the others that engagement does not mean much. My DD engaged really early and was still two weeks late! This one has been 2/5 for a while now but bet he/she is still really late!

Had lots of tears from DD at swimming. Her friend has been moved up a group but DD is not a good enough swimmer yet. It is so hard explaining to her, that that is just how things are and that some people just get certain things quicker than others. Still on the plus side, she has now discovered she and another boy are the head elves and get to put the presents in Father Christmas's sleigh at the school play.

majormoo · 20/11/2008 20:07

BB glad to hear that your sister is doing well and things are looking positive

bluestarlavender · 20/11/2008 20:24

HC - from your chart I would predict OV to be CD7 and the massive dip to be implantation. It is a weird chart! But I'm hoping it's a good sign...you had a weird cycle last month, so maybe you have OV'ed early for this one.

I have my fingers crossed. I have a good feeling about this month for you!!

Majormoo - your poor DD...it's horrid when stuff like that happens. But she'll catch up pretty quick in the swimming now...lots of incentive! I'm glad she's happier about being an elf..it sounds way better than being a snowflake!

Great news ceebee, so pleased he's here. Did everything go according to plan? Shame, but our babies won't share a birthday, I'm still waiting and wondering! Hope your first night with the new arrival went smoothly and that Josh is loving his new baby bro.

I have decided to go into town today, I need to do something and stop just sitting around waiting for this baby to come! Quite excited about my little trip out - the most I've done all week is walk a few times round the block!

HAve a good day everyone.

Knax · 21/11/2008 12:25

ChocolateEclair · 21/11/2008 16:27

yey! Well done ceebee - love the name still! Hope you and little Samuel are doing well and you will be home shortly to let us see a piccie! I take it that it was your DH who updated us!?!?

Juanitad - any sign? Get walking! Hope you enjoyed your jaunt into town and it has got baby moving!

bb - so glad to hear your sis is going to be ok. It must be a massive weight off your shoulders

knax - very worrying, given recent experiences but just remember that it very often is not bad and bean will be just fine - prob nestling down lovely and snug. Fingers crossed for tuesday's scan xx

MJIM - how is Naomi today? At least in this weather you can all stay inside and snuggle up! Hope she is better - thinking of you both xx

majormoo - any signs of your impending arrival? Your poor dd - there are some hard lessons we have to go through in life - she must seem so young bless her. I'm sure she will be moved up very soon.

HM2J - hope Zack is settling a bit better in his sling - sounds comfy!

BSL - very positive results really - glad you are pleased. You can now officially get bonking I guess! (Like you need telling lol!) Really really hope you get a BFP soon xx

HC - I've had a look at your chart - it is not weird! I think FF might decide that is an implantation dip you know! (crossing everything that it is!!!!)How long will you wait before you POAS????

Mandy + Dawn - we will def have to compete as xmas baubles! However, I see myself as more of a weeble - as wide as I am tall! lol!

Anyway, it's the weekend!!! But it's FREEZING! We are forecast snow on the NE coast (and I live 2 mins from the sea ... that NE wind is bitter!) DP has made lovely stew to warm us up though awww
