Can someone please post a comment on here even if it is 'don't know' just to bump it without me seeming desperate for an answer. Ta.

HumphreysCorner · 17/01/2009 09:03

Dawni-am never positive anymore and my temp has had a slight drop. Am still only DPO 9 but don't feel PG so no doubt won't be. Hope your AF stays the right amount of time so you can get on with TTC again. Getting a bit fed up with it all. If it is never going to happen I would rather know to save me all this stress and anxiety every month. Have a good day.

Raining here and Emma bis a tad better but grumpy.

Big Wave!

Oh belgianbun-I really feel for you and I will of course send you as many virtual hugs as my computer can manage. If this was me I think I would give IVF one try, two at the most. I won't for No3 but for No2 I would. Life is such a bitch sometimes isn't it? {{hugs}}

MJIM-looks like there are loads of fake GHDs on Ebay so knowing my bad luck these will be too. £71-50 down the drain. If I do get them how will I know they are fake though? Am really worried as can't afford to lose this money and PayPal only want to sort things out if you go to Trading Standards etc to get proof but can't cope with doing all that. Hope I'm not scammed again.

Oh crikey, people that sell fake GHDs sell Ugg boots too and guess what, he is selling Ugg Boots too.

Have tried to cancel the payment and it says to contact the seller for a refund-not likely that though. I feel so stupid!

Hi all

HC - I am shocked hope you sort something out.

Have ordered buggy after some stress of the catalogue changing today and it being discontinuted - but good old Argos. I phoned through to the Warehouse and they still have some so are going to deliver it Monday Restored my faith in customer service!

Have been mega stressed filing my tax return (which I still haven't managed to do). Need to speak to a techical advisor on partnerships and they are always busy every time I phone

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

detoxdiva · 17/01/2009 15:00

Oh HC - so sorry to hear about your ebay nightmare...you'll not believe this but about 3 weeks ago I went into my ebay account and there were about 75 messages. i was as I don't sell that much on there, and when I looked into it, someone had hacked into my account and listed a job lot of pink GHD's on there and obv due to the low price the whole lot had sold and I had an army of people contacting me asking where their GHD's were

The fraudster had only got into my PayPal account too, changed the email address and had collected payment from all of them, leaving me to contact ebay and all the buyers to say I was really sorry but they had been scammed. Ebay were really good actually and my account is now all safe, but I really felt for all those people who had lost their money - in total this guy had made about £2000 So don't feel stupid, it can happen to anyone. I now try and live buy the saying "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is..."

MJIM - your ds is the same age as my dd (3) isn't he? Can I ask if he gets really tired still early/mid afternoon? Dd is a good sleeper and generally gets a solid 11-12 hours a night, but after lunch is usually completely trashed - she will only sleep in the car now during the day, so we usually have quiet time for an hour or so, but it is worrying me a bit that she gets soooo tired still. Is this your experience too or do I have an exceptionally lightweight child

Dawni · 17/01/2009 15:05

Hello ladies

Finished work for the day, DH in megga bad mood due to pain in his hip, wish i could run away !!!

Belgian I do sympathise, our DS is 16 now and we've been trying on and off since he was 18month old, we have never had the funds for IVF but if i had i would have at least tried the once, follow your head though not your heart, i have a friend who couldnt give up trying and now are in loads of debt .....{{{sending you lots of hugs}}}

willmouse Pleased you got your buggy xx

HC Hope you get your straightners sorted, its crap thet someone would do that. We once got DS a phone and it turned out to be stolen, we contacted paypal and got our money back....good luck xx

Going for a brew

Love to all

D xx

MJIM - thaks for that. I am quite sure she is fine - always fit and healthy, and like your ds, pretty much always on the go. I just think she is pretty poor at identifying when she needs to slow down and then all of a sudden it hits here and she has a kind of meltdown . She also stopped her lunchtime nap about a year ago, so should be used to it by now! Am hoping by the time no.2 comes along, she'll cope a bit better as the thought of having 2 tired and grumpy dc in the house worries me already!!

Belgian - thinking of you and dh - am still hopeful it will happen for you, and if you need to go down the ivf route, there'll be plenty of support for you here.

Bellie · 17/01/2009 15:48

HC - sounds like a nightmare - tbh it is stories like this that make me stay away from ebay. Hope you get it sorted too.

BB - so sorry for the stress this is putting you under . Personally I would try a few rounds of IVF if you can afford it - as I would always be thinking what if? We were about to go for our first appointment with the IVF consultants when I got my BFP. This was after having an HSG done which seemed to have cleared my tube.

Detox - as MJIM says - there is nothing wrong with your dd - my dd did not drop her nap until 3.5 and was terrible for the first month when she did - we introduced quiet time instead to start with - she would lay in darkish room listening to stories on cd. Occassionally she would still drop off to sleep, but it seemed to refresh her even if she didn't. Now she is on the go all day at school and at weekends. She still sleeps from 7-7 and sometimes we even get a lie in on a Sat until 8am (until beanies comes along ).

Dawni - what do you do that you have to work Sats?

Willmouse - glad that you have managed to order the buggy - but grr at tax advisors and doing tax returns - we are just about to pay DH's tax bill which always sticks in my throat as he is on PAYE, but they never seem to get his code right so we have to pay extra every year!! .

Still nothing happening here - although the phone calls are starting - and I am not even at my due date yet!!

Hope your back is feeling better MJIM and that the day is not too long for you without dh

Have a good weekend and sorry if I have missed anyone!

HumphreysCorner · 17/01/2009 16:55

I E-Mailed seller to see if there is an authenticity certificate with them and he said there is. Bet he is either a) typing one up now or b) asking China to type one up before they post them.

Sorry to be so miserable.

Dawni · 17/01/2009 17:02

Hi Bellie Hope you are well....I am a home carer and work 7 on, 1 off, 4 on then 2 off... the 7 start on a monday, so i work every other weekend and blooming hate it (weekends, not the job) its very tiring as we work half staffed at the weekend, start at 6.30 and finish 2.30, i also have 20 mins travel time there and back

much love

D xx

Bellie · 17/01/2009 17:05

Dawni - at least you love the job though and you get other days off when everyone else is at work so it is less busy is when you go shopping etc! Ouch for the early starts though!
