Hi all,

My diet has gone out the window since Christmas. I lost about 7lb before Chrismtas put 5lb on over Christmas and have managed to put and extra ilb on since

Decided not point dieting now until after Center Parcs next week as I will only put it all back on again

Right, off to put Ds2 for his nap and have a couple of crumpets with butter.............

HumphreysCorner · 15/01/2009 13:48

Lol Ceebee. Emma never sits still only when poorly. Have dosed her up but she is now getting up and down off the sofa so am threatening her to sit still as that will make her feel better.

MrsPuddleduck · 15/01/2009 20:25

Dawni - fingers crossed for an implantation bleed????

DawnAS · 15/01/2009 20:31

Hello all,

HC, sorry that your daughter isn't well, hope you managed to get her to sit still so that you could relax a bit too!!

Dawni, bizarre about your AF!! Do you think it was a definite AF?

MJIM, bless you, it's horrible when you're riddled with guilt, although your young man has probably forgotten all about it. I know it's slightly different because my Tilly is a dog, but I feel like that when I'm out walking her and she keeps pulling to sniff things, so I tug her really hard and then realise that she was actually trying to go to the toilet!! I feel mortified for ages whereas she wouldn't even think about after 5 minutes!! She does get extra treats when she gets home though... Totally defeats the object of the walk!!

Waves to Ceebee, Wilmouse and Bellie.

So, all you ladies that already have DC, can I ask a question? I'm sure I felt our little girl move on New Years Day when I was just over 17 weeks. I'm now 19 weeks and have felt NOTHING at all since... Should I be worried? The MW said (when I went to see her just over a week ago), that I shouldn't be surprised if I don't feel anything again until around 22 weeks, but I am still worrying after googling it and hearing that by 19 weeks other mums have at least felt some fluttering.

I sit down all day as I work from home, so it's not like I'm really active and could miss it. I've had quite a bit to worry about with this PG so don't really want to torture myself by worrying more, but I know that you ladies will be honest with me....

Morning all!

Dawni - how are you feeling this morning? Are we almost cycle buddies now for next month (never had one before!)

HC - hope Emma is OK.

MJIM - sorry to hear about your sis going off - I hope that it goes quickly for you - it is only 8 weeks after all - it could be worse it could be for a year or something. She sounds as if she supports you alot - but you presumably still have your mum local. My mum phoned last night and told me she has agreed with work to increase her hours (doesn't work afternoons atm). I was gutted as when I had DS2 she used to come around after work at least twice a week to help me out. I don't know whether or not I did the right thing being really positive about it. She does know that I am ttc. My Mum's a bit complicated - so I am worried I should have said something.....

DawnAS - I used to be able to feel DS best early on when lying on my back and found that after a busy day if I lay down and relaxed in a nice warm bath it usually did the trick. Worth a try! I have about two warm relaxing baths a year now (obviously I shower!)

Right - off to post for some advice on the Childminding section - my mindee (who has had a cold this week) has just turned up with two red puffy eyes

HumphreysCorner · 16/01/2009 10:58

Morning all

MJIM-the time will soon pass and you DSIS will be home and very refreshed.

Dawni-your AF sounds like my weirdy ones I had last year. Started on time then stopped for about 3/4 days then started properly. Make your cycle long and seems to alter OV day. Hope it gets back to normal very soon. How is DH today? Sorry to hear about the test.

DawnAS-I wouldn't worry too much about feeling your little girl. I didn't feel Emma very much until about 20 weeks and then she never stopped (a bit like she is now). Massive kicks all the time. Sophie was as quiet as she is now and I didn't feel her very much at all even in the last few weeks so did panic a tad then. Hopefully you are having an angelic baby and not a wildchild.

Willmouse-that is a bit worrying about your mindee.

Emma was reluctant to go to school again this morning and said her ankle hurt again. Her ankle hurt last Thursday just before dancing so she couln't go. She really doesn't seem to want to go to school and I don't know why. Have spoken to the teacher and she is going to keep her eye on her.

Temp has risen this morning but it needs to stay high after day 14 but I don't usually get that far. Still obsessing over symptoms-am creating some new ones for my chart this month.

Got some ironing to do so better get on with it.

Big wave!

ARRGGH! I am nano seconds away from ordering a new buggy. The Mamu 2 (Which scored it one point less than the Maclaren Techno in tests last summer and I have been waiting for them to be cheap ever since) is reduced to £31 in Argos. Would have to reserve for delivery though so £36. DH would kill me....

HumphreysCorner · 16/01/2009 11:23

Can't you collect it as it will go in your car. Save money and all that.

HC
x

MrsPuddleduck · 16/01/2009 11:33

None are available for collection in our area or I would have reserved one on line and then told DH about it after a couple of glasses this evening

I will have to wait until later and hope there are still some left.

I have an Aria which is as good as new only DS2 is too heavy to push in it now.

HumphreysCorner · 16/01/2009 11:36

That's a shame as it does look nice. Hate paying delivery and especially where I live as everyone shoves an extra fee on to deliver. We don't live in the middle of nowhere BTW.

HC

MrsPuddleduck · 16/01/2009 11:43

Niether to I - Stafford. There are 8 Agos stores within easy travel distance and they are all out of stock

Keep having to take the Phil and Ted on the School run - and it is really bulky to heave in and out of the car. We never bought a raincover for the Aria so it is only useful in the Summer really (not even then if last summer is to go by).

I will talk DH into it later. We can take it to Center Parcs and Majorca plus I can use it in the car for my school runs so will get loads of use out of it.

Bellie · 16/01/2009 12:22

Hello all,

Hoep you are all having good days - though it is very frustrating about the buggy willmouse - have you family/friends that live near to another store that could get it for you?

HC - sorry lost track of which dpo you are - are you nearly at 14?

Dawni - not sure what is going on with your AF - it could just be a blip down to the stress of ttc if it is not an implantation bleed. Fingers crossed it sorts itself out for you

Dawnas - even with this one (my second) it was still about 23 weeks before I really felt anything. If you are worried can you go and see your midwife so you can hear the heartbeat?

I saw the midwife today, who was very reassuring about everything as always - we are just playing the waiting game now!

HumphreysCorner · 16/01/2009 12:44

Am only DPO 8 but have started knicker checking. Glad all is well with bubba.

HC

MrsPuddleduck · 16/01/2009 13:13

HC - so you have another 6 days of knicker checking to go!

Bellie - glad all is well!

Dawni · 16/01/2009 17:07

Hi ladies, just a quicky, have read all threads for today......

willmouse cycle buddy, thats cool ....still no AF today, but grumbly tummy and sore boobs !! Should be on day 4 of period !! Nice buggy, shame about delivery though

DH having a slightly better day, just wish the consultant would get in touch about the op !!

HC Im dying to know what symptoms you've got for yourself is your DD better now after the other day ? And have you found out whats putting emma off dance class

Maybe my funny AF is due to stressing over TTC, i ordered some fertile cm yesterday, its supposed to increase cm and labido so fingers crossed it works

Catch ya's later

D xx

HumphreysCorner · 16/01/2009 17:23

Picked Emma up from school and it would appear she is genuinely poorly. Mean old me making her go to school. The teacher asked if she did the right thing not sending her home when she said her ankle hurt and I told her she did do the right thing. She was fine though when I collected her but she isn't too good now.

Dawni-hope AF sorts herself out. Didn't know you could order fertile CM.

Must get tea on as DH has to go out bowling at 6pm and is not home yet.

HC
x

Dawni · 16/01/2009 17:44

HC Poor Emma, hope she's better soon x

Got the supplement from www.fertilecm.com was reading up on it as my cm is often not there at the right time !!! and after this months cycle going wrong i thought i'd give it a go
